This isn’t just home to the best pizza, wine & faro salad in LA it’s home. You can walk in feeling like the weight of the world is on your shoulders, or fresh off a delayed flight and the crazy of LAX like mum and I did last night and be guaranteed you will leave feeling onto of the world!!! Your tastebuds will be entertained, tummy full and your heart filled with joy and love of true Italian hospitality!

Pizzas are delicious with great fresh ingredients, great wine selection. My only criticism is that the high seats are a little uncomfortable but it’s a wine bar so I understand it’s the style.

The place is relatively small, what makes the atmosphere cozy. Seating is in hight top tables inside, there is a nice outside area but it was usuyally cold in LA that evening. Food is excelent (italian, outstanding pizza and pastas); service very lievly and courteous . Higly recomended.

The food and the ambiance were good and the service was very personable. I was very disappointed that a table was ready or even set up for my reservation. I visited the restaurant the day before and requested indoor setting. They offered us either a table right by the door that was going to be in the way of people or the bar. There was a huge table reserved for a party of 15 that was coming 45 minutes after our reservation and in the end they only had about 8 show up within 30 minutes of their reservation. Again, very disappointed in how our reservation was handled.

An over priced pizza that was mediocre at best. They don’t even have ice. They didn’t even have enough soft drinks to serve three people. There was one waitress for the entire place. I thought it was a joke!

For an outdoor dining setting in the parking lot of a strip mall the ambiance was not bad. The service was attentive though the server had a sense of “ I don’t really care”. She’d ask you how something was then walk away before you could finish your answer. The salads were good but the Burrata Crostini was exceptional. There are a very large selection of pizzas and plenty of veggie options. Many unique and tasty. The pies have a amazing crispy yet chewy crust. Worth another trip or two for sure.

Pizza was very good, but the staff was not the most attentive. It was a weeknight and they were not busy, so they were rearranging/restocking wine bottles in the restaurant. But they were so occupied with that that they failed to check in on their few tables for extended periods of time. Other than the ambiance was very nice and they did a great job with their outdoor space. Wine selection was good too.

We have been going to South End from the day they opened a few years ago and have never been disappointed. They have persevered through COVID-19 restrictions and continue to make the best pizzas, hit the mark on all other food items, and provide an outstanding wine selection in a range of prices. The owner, Mario, is there personally much of the time paying close attention to guests and service. Note that this is a small space with a small kitchen so make reservations and plan to take your time eating and enjoying good wine.
