Food was unfortunately disappointing. I had fish on top of corn that was chewy and flavorless. Burrata salad could have been good but made mediocre with bland cherry tomatoes and chunks of apple with skin on? Wait staff was lovely though.

The seared tuna was incredible, with creative accompaniment! The burger was yummy with a super special sauce. Our waitress Liana has major “wait skills,”never rushed us, knew when to check in, explained ingredients. We chatted with Chef on our way out, thanked him for a home run!!

South Edison never disappoints! The pork chop parm is my husband’s fav, but sashimi, empanada, burrata aops we’re all excellent. Entrees shrimp tacos, cavatelli, standouts. House-made cookie & ice cream delish. One of our go-to places. It’s always a pleasure to dine here.

Outside seating was great. Food came out quick and was wonderful. Service could have been better. Server wasn’t knowledgeable or friendly but was able to take our order and have it come out accurately so there’s that.

We loved South Edison. The food was fantastic. We especially loved the fluke sashimi appetizer and the tuna and scallop entrees. We had such an incredible meal. Would highly recommend.

Ordered scallops as a main course and was charged $38.00 for 3 scallops! Spoke to the manager and received one more! Food is good but way overpriced for what you get.

We ate outside because inside seemed a bit loud. It is the summer crowd out in Montauk which is now a much younger crowd then it was say 5 years ago so I would expect it to be more lively. As for the food, highlight of the night. Everything was great. I’d go back....

We have been to South Edison many times, since it opened. We have always loved our experience, food, value, service, ambiance, and never minded spending $300+ for a fabulous time. This weekend we had a completely different experience, our server was terrific, but the portions of food were so tiny, we all left very hungry, even with all of our appetizers to start. We went straight to the supermarket to buy cold cuts for sandwiches to eat back at our hotel. We NEVER have done that anywhere, and to spend $500 for dinner and not feel satisfied, but actually hungry is ridiculous. Never again. Very disappointed, and surprised.

Very over priced. Cacio e Pepe had absolutely no flavor and portions were so small given the price. If the food was better I wouldn’t have cared about spending the money. Wouldn’t go back nothing special. Nice ambiance though

We sat outside on a beautiful summer night. The fried olives are so unique and savory, you must try! The sauce the peppers come with was absolutely delicious. Everything we had was fantastic and the restaurant atmosphere is beachy and chic. Highly recommend!

South Edison is a must anytime I am in Montauk! The entire experience is incredible from the super sweet staff to the curated cocktails and delicious food. I am always so impressed with the menu! There is always something for everyone in the group to love. Make sure to try the octopus tacos, fried olives, scallops and the matcha ice cream cookie! Can’t wait to come back!

Nice place with good food and drink. Unfortunately, we felt rushed throughout the meal. Ordered an app and entrees and both were brought to the same time, within minutes. While eating, we were approached at least twice by staff asking us if we were done. Waiter apologized and said he would not rush us. Unfortunately, he didn’t share the sentiment with other staff.

We couldnt get a rez at Harvest so this was second choice and will be first choice next time! 6 of us started with oyster shooters. If u put the oyster in the shot glass u wind up swallowing oyster whole and no taste. Bloody mary shot seemed the fav. We all split an order of the best truffle fries with some lovely sprinkled parmesan cheese and an order of the most delish light and fluffy melt in your mouth fried calamari. The market fish was exceptionally fresh and lovely. The basil pepper gimlet was a hit. Wine options few but satisfying. No dewars but jwb sufficed. The waitresss who took our drink order was a lil clumsy and clueless but then our waiter for the rest of the night was professional and fun. We will be back.

I love Montauk I wasn’t able to get out there this summer as much as I would wanted to have. Montauk at this time of the year and the end of spring are probably my favorite times to go out to eateries out there are very good. It’s South Addison is among the top 10 on my list they have great choices and went with another couple and we ate appetizers the whole time it was fabulous I recommend this place highly and children are welcomed as I noticed while we were there

One of our top Montauk dining spots. Always a well curated menu. It tends to be a bit loud (it is popular!) and the wait staff can be a bit rushed (they're busy!), but dont let that stop you. We make sure to dine there at least once per trip.

Food is very fresh and creative, from appetizers through main course and to dessert. All three courses were delicious including our steamed lobster served with french fries and "street corn". Walking distance to the beach. Our server was extremely attentive.

They were out of lobster - it is a lobster place and it is their logo. The burgers were burnt. The crab was over peppered. Appetizer of shishito peppers arrived after the meals. Waiter tried to make it work and was very friendly.
