Texture of my salmon was ok, but lacked flavor throughout. We chose South City Kitchen since close to home and for healthy, gluten free meal options. Our server explained everything very well and was attentive.
Great to see so many families and friends gathering together
Linda did an outstanding job featuring the menu to us as it was our first time, the Cesar salad was excellent and the okra was a nice added touch to it!
The only issue was the very slippery floors but the manager came over to check on us and said they were addressing the issue
NEVER DISAPPOINTS!!!! Food and service always on point. A true staple in the Vinings community.
I LOVE that one of the ratings was noise level - well done!
Really nice place to eat and the food is always very good !!!
We loved everything about this restaurant. Food was amazing but the highlight of the afternoon was our server Amber. She made some amazing recommendations and she was on point with all of them. We will definitely be back!
New baby celebration with the whole family!
Just a great venue! Love it and have never had a bad time!!
This was my first time going to eat here. I can honestly say that I really enjoyed myself. The drinks was good and strong. I ordered the Huntsman. For a appetizer, I order the crab cake and for my entree I order the fried chicken. Overall, everything was good. I have no complaints
Service was excellent and my fiancé enjoyed the food as well, we will be back
Great food. Excellent service!
Very enjoyable evening!
Our trip was a birthday brunch for my wife. Food was good, but our server ignored us, we had to repeatedly ask him for things. Our bread came after our appetizers. We did not get spoons with our coffee. We had to ask other servers to find him when we needed something. He was apologetic and explained he had a large party on the other side, but that made us feel even less important to him. The other servers did seem more attentive to their patrons but we won't driving around 285 to attend this location again. There are better places closer to us.
We had never eaten brunch at South City, only dinner, so we decided to go for brunch as a birthday celebration. The restaurant was hopping but everything was great!
South City Kitchen is one of my and my husband's favorite restaurants. Always great food. Always great service.
My pork chop was cold yet beautiful on the plate.
Only complaint was that I felt they had cooked it an hour before we got there😵
One word: perfection.
Great food and service. We had the friend green tomatoes, duck and catfish and they were all phenomenal! The drinks were also quite good. Definitely am going back.
It was a little pricey for the quality of the food.
The waiter was very good.
The ambiance is elagant with simplicity. The entrees were amazing. The trout and Hanger steak were the over all favorites. They have a wonderful wine list that has variety for all price points. Our server, Ro was very polite and professional, with an uplifting personality. This restaurant was refreshing. You can see everyone( including managers) working as a team to make sure that the best service is provided to all guest.
Succulent juicy fried chicken, great mixed drinks, good fish assortment, all fresh.
My boyfriend and I dined her last night for a belated valentines dinner. We have both dined here before, and had really good service in past dining experiences. We were both extremely disappointed in the service. Our server, Katie, did not follow the steps of service that I know Fifth group teaches. She was cold and uninterested, the service was slow, and to top it all off she made us box our leftovers! I know the leftovers thing seems stupid but I felt like I was at chili’s instead of a nice dinner with my boyfriend.
We made reservations for 2:45pm and arrived to be told by the manager the restaurant closed at 3pm and we needed to select our menu items quickly. The manager unfortunately did not share this info in a customer-centric manner, thus I politely suggested that in the future they should make customers aware "when making" the reservation. The manager didn't seem to receive the suggestion well, as expressed by her curt nonverbal behavior.
The food is good, but I question the value. You're probably paying more for the overall dining experience than food alone. Our server was friendly but very slow. Another server refilled our glasses because she noticed ours were empty for a while. The floor manager walked by several times. Surely she noticed our server missing in action. We saw the floor manager more than our server.
Food was quick. Waitress disappeared
The food was amazing, although I thought my salmon was quite small.
From the food to the atmosphere you'll have a great dining experience!
Can't miss here - all choices are exceptional - we are frequent customers
The restaurant was so loud we could hardly have an intimate conversation. And due to that, a nearby table had one LOUD talker!! Spent the evening having to hear her conversation instead of my own.
Great service. Wonderful, friendly staff! Upscale atmosphere with reasonable prices. And the food is excellent! The chicken livers and steak tartar are among my favorites!
Consistently delicious food.
Always consistent. Great, flavorful food. Excellent service.
Perfect...service and food great! You have the best pork chops!
This was our first time trying South City Kitchen and it did not diss a point for our Valentines Dinner. We were seated promptly for our 8:30 reservation, had amazing service, and the food was delicious. It was a little pricey overall, but I’d def go again when it isn’t a fixed menu.
Our Valentine's Day dinner was fantastic. Our waitress was quick, professional, and attentive. Our food was delicious, filling, and a good value.
Food here is always amazing. Menu changes like once every 6 months I believe which I think it keeps people coming back, however they do keep some of the original plates year round.
Experience was great.
