Thee music is too loud. Dinner by candle light is nice but it's hell trying to read the menu. Sadly, the Tajarin Con Tartufo was not available thee evening of our visit.

Overall I WOULD recommend this place but just some heads up points: 1 very dark intimate lighting so have your flashlight ready if you have bad eyesight, 2 menu is very Italian (makes sense) so we did have to google basically everything to choose our order, 3 they dont have any mozzarella cheese which was very surprising to me, because the bread would be great with cheese 4 portions are very small and they dont have many apps to choose from to start so we were still hungry after meals, 5 still worth the stop!

Food & service was amazing. Only negatives: They asked multiple times what we were celebrating, shared our birthdays. Not sure why they asked as nothing offered or gestured, not even a happy birthday wish. Table near was beyond loud, a group of people yelling at each other at the same table. Not sure if they were over served (alcohol) or just super loud talkers but took away from our experience. Staff should of offered a private room for them.

We just went for desert and wine! It was fabulous. We were told to try the ricotta donuts and were not disappointed. Lovely wine selection. Recommend the Brunillo. Our server was sweet.

Food was outstanding as usual; however the volume level of the music completely took away from the experience. The music was so loud that we could not talk or hear the service staff. We talked to a manager and was told the owner would not allow the music to be turned down. We have visited the restaurant many times and do not recall the music being that loud. We used a phone app and the decibels were measuring 80-90 which is equivalent to a leaf blower.

The food was outstanding! Simply prepared yet sophisticated. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Too bad we can’t go more often as it takes months to get a reservation.

Fabulous! And I was on a knee scooter and had no issues with accommodations. Boca has an elevator that helped me forego the stairs and Sotto had a table I could navigate. The food was phenomenal and served in a relaxing pace. Zack was our server and he was so friendly and helpful. Will come back!

Amazing service! Every question I asked had a great answer. It seemed everytime we needed something someone was right there to help us. Food was some of the best food I have eaten in a long time. Great spot, great time, overall amazing experience.

The food was fine, but a little overpriced. The ambiance was nice for a date night, if not a little too brightly lit on the inside for my taste. I'm a fan of Italian food, and the food at Giovanni's family Italian Restaurant in west side is better by my money, and definitely cheaper.

The food and service at Sotto are delightful, so it's no wonder it is such a popular restaurant. My only complaint is that the music was a bit too loud for me, and I sometimes struggled to hear my dinner partner.

Wonderful evening out with my wife and a few old friends. The fantastic italian fare was worth the 3-month reservation wait. If you're contemplating stopping in, do not hesitate. Go.

The service was amazing and the food was stealer. I highly recommend Sotto. The only “bad” thing I can say is it’s a little dark. My in-laws needed to us their cell phone lights to read the menu. I thought it added to the moodiness of the restaurant.

The food was good and the service excellent. However, the noise level was awful. The music which did not go with the ambiance of the restaurant was way too loud. It put a damper on what otherwise would have been an enjoyable dining experience. We could not really have a conversation without yelling.

First bad experience. We got the steak, was a bad cut. Super fatty and had to trim away most of what was there. Tenderloin over cooked and crunchy where it shouldn’t be crunchy. Server left to deal with a service issue with manager leaving us with a service issue…..no server for a long period. My son asked for a milkshake from someone who tried to cover for the missing server and he said he thought he could make that happen (they’ve done it before) and none ever came nor were we informed it wasn’t coming. Party room was LOUD and full of drunks. One person literally fell off their chair. Just an overall off night.
