   Easily the best composed dishes we’ve had in Cincinnati. Nothing had a fault to find! Zach was a great head waiter and the rest of the staff was friendly and amazing. Going to take every reservation we can get from now on!

   Sotto never disappoints!! We come here for all of our birthdays, anniversaries and special occasion meals and absolutely love it. Service was fantastic, food was delicious and atmosphere is so fun. We sat at the chef’s table which is a neat experience and fun to see the fact paced kitchen on a Friday night!

   The reservations are worth the wait! Sotto is a special gem in Cincinnati. With the dim lighting and rustic intimate atmosphere, it’s a super sexy place. The service is impeccable, all the staff is super attentive and wants each guest to have an experience rather than just a nice meal. The food is a 10/10 and as authentic as it can get. 1000000/10 recommend. I will be back as soon as I can.

    Every single thing about this dinner was amazing! Our server Molly was amazing. She was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive but not overwhelming, and offered great suggestions. The dinner was spaced out perfectly. It never felt rushed and we never were wondering when the next course was coming out next. Finally, the food was absolutely amazing. No detail is left unnoticed. We loved every single one our dishes. Our server even brought out a complementary dessert for our anniversary. Highly recommend!!

    While the food was a bit hit or miss (a lot of seasoning and salt but otherwise beautifully plated and cooked well), the service was absolutely the best I’ve had in a long time. Our server Paxton was just delightful. He was warm and knowledgeable, which really helped us feel comfortable. Corey, the general manager, was so so sweet. She was very attentive throughout the meal, as was everyone in the restaurant. From Paxton, Corey, to the woman who dropped off our first course, to the gentleman who dropped off our second, to those that helped clear our plates, everyone seemed genuinely interested in our experience and happy to be there. It was a breath of fresh air. It’s truly wonderful to come to a restaurant where it is clear that they take pride in what they do and where they work. I will absolutely be back when I can. They made our “Mom’s night out” such a great experience. As a side note, the ambiance there is next-level. I’ve never been to a restaurant that made me feel like I’m in a completely different place. The dim lights, brick, candlelight and decorative pieces were stunning. Just beautiful. It could definitely be a good backdrop for a romantic evening, but it made it cozy and warm for two good friends as well. Thank you to the staff at Sotto for providing such a great experience. Felt like fine dining, without the pretension or the astronomical price tag. Definitely worth the visit.

    If you aren’t paying attention you will walk right past it. The setting is so cool and unique. We were seated at a table for two and immediately greeted by our server. He was amazing. Totally on top of it and answers every question we had. He explained any menu questions we had and helped make recommendations. We shred everything and had the goat cheese bread appetizer, the short rib pasta, the pork loin, and the donuts. Everything was absolutely amazing and delicious. If you can score a reservation don’t miss out on Sotto.

    Worth the hype. Yum. The experience and food is stellar. Our server was amazing. Even the people that are just bringing your food knows the food at Sottos (for example mixing the sauces for the donuts to kick the flavors up to the next level). Each food menu wow’d us and we were blown away. Definitely worth the wait

    Sotto continues to uphold its reputation as a premier restaurant in Cincinnati. This is because the atmosphere, service, food quality, food execution and wine/cocktail offerings are performed & delivered with excellence, deliberation and careful management. Menu dishes are authentic. While some offerings are trusted favorites, the diner can always look forward to new & interesting options as well. One example is the Vitello. This new antipasti was a dish tasted in Northern Italy by the chef- then brought back to Cincinnati. It is a succulent combination of fried capers, pickled peppers and shaved veal. As for some favorites that stand the test of time, try wood fired Brazino, Cacio e Pepe, or Breaded Pork Loin with lemon caper sauce. There is much more to this wonderful restaurant than I can write here. We are regulars here and it always feels like a treat to eat here! This is a restaurant not to be missed and always to look forward to!

    It's our second time back to Sotto within the month! This time we were celebrating our anniversary. Our server was so lovely, and she didn't rush us at all, even when we were done with desserts. That was a really good feeling, especially because our reservation was a late one at 10:30. My only compliant which has little to do with the restaurant itself is the table next to us was extremely loud and often who yell loudly curse words which wasn't the most welcoming environment.

    We had a great dinner before going to the Aronoff to see John Mellencamp. When the show was finished we went back and sat at the bar to have doughnuts and drinks. Doughnuts were great as always. Unfortunately the bartender was not. She was not friendly. Pretty much ignored us when we said we were there for desert and drinks. Tried to make small talk. She commented that it's been busy and walked away without taking our drink order, never to return. She needs to realize a smile goes a long way. We got the attention of the other bartender who promptly took care of us and was friendly. Fortunately that was the ONLY disappointing experience we've ever had in all of our visits to Sotto.
