   Sotto used to be a favorite but the quality of the food was not good last night. Gnocchi dish was overcooked and other consistency of mashed potatoes. We were also crammed in at a high top table with a bunch of other couples after making this reservation three+ months ago. I won’t be back. This place has jumped the shark.

   This was our first visit to Sotto, it was highly recommended. We were thrilled! The food was incredibly authentic, the wine selection superior, and our server Bailey was wonderful. She was knowledgeable, personable and attentive without being pushy. We’ll be back!

   I have been to Sotto numerous times so it was not like I was walking into anything new. The food and drinks were outstanding as always. But the service was not as it normally is. I am sure it was a one off experience but the service was very slow. We had a party of 4 which in my opinion is average. The in between time from appetizers to first setting to second setting etc was lengthy. I will return as I believe it was a one off.

   We were sitting at the end of a long table that if it were lower to the ground and had different chairs would be considered cafeteria style. The entire table wasn’t full, yet the people with the reservation next to us were literally touching elbows with us, though no words were spoken. The food was good, but I can’t really tell if it’s good because people told me it was good or that I actually liked it. “Rich” is a better word. The ambience was really cool and I would go back for that…but other than that, I prefer Ruby’s. People will probably have my head for this, because it’s apparently one of the best restaurants in the city. I guess I’m wondering what makes it SO great? Then again, I am from Burlington, KY so it might be a culture thing:)

   Sotto never disappoints! Food was fantastic :) highly recommend the Ricotta Donuts!!

    Our waitress Heather was excellent!!! Service was great. Food was delicious. The pork loin was a little disappointing but the grilled octopus, goat cheese with honey and ricotta doughnuts amazing!! The Prosecco toast for our anniversary was a nice touch! The music was was way too loud. Did not match the romantic atmosphere. That took away from experience. Overall very happy with our evening.
