   Love Sotto it was outstanding! I did not get the high top as reservations advised but got sat at a shareable table. It was still awesome!

   The shared table was a bit much…. Squeezed in with people I didn’t know. Not fun. A horrible experience. It made the whole sotto experience pretty bad. Sad for a place we love. I guess I didn’t know I reserved that table. I’ll have to make sure I never do that again.

   We came here to celebrate our son birthday and unfortunately left disappointed. While we’ve had good experiences in the past, this visit fell short—especially when it came to value and service. The meal for two adults and three kids totaled $350, and we were surprised to be charged $8 for a basic bread basket. Even more surprising was that nothing was done to acknowledge the birthday—not even a complimentary dessert or a simple “happy birthday.” For a restaurant at this price point, we expected a more thoughtful and hospitable experience. Sadly, it didn’t feel special or worth the cost this time around.

   The drinks, appetizer and desert were very good. The entree was just okay. The portions were pretty small. Service was amazing.

   As always Sotto did not disappoint! Amazing food, amazing waiter (Paxton) who was super knowledgeable about wine reco’s and food selections. And of course the reason we ALL go there - THE DONUTS!!!!! And it was a lot more affordable than I remember. Can’t wait to go back!

   Not a very big menu but always outstanding. Their chicken liver pate and octopus is my favorite starter. Their pastas are amazing, especially the Cappellacci. This is a must try. Seriously. It’s sublime. Cocktails are also outstanding. The restaurant is a little pricey but not over-the-top. If you haven’t been, go!

    Let me mention first the outstanding service and enhancement to the evening we had from our server Sarah. She is a real asset for Sotto. Our food high-lights were the cacio e pepe and incredibly flavorful arugula.
