Excellent meal great service and decent price
We were so sorry to be told (when we checked in) that this restaurant is no longer accepting Open Table reservations.
Have dined here many times, but that night they were off their game. Service was slow and food even slower. Took 60 minutes to get our meals, two of which were chicken dishes and the other pasta. Risotto way too salty, Cannolis empty in the middle. Dinner lasted close to 90 minutes which is not what we came to the casino for. We will be back though. Everyone has an off night.
Very good food! Osso Buco excellent Serice a little slow. Waited over an hour for dinner!!
We've been here before and enjoyed it very much. We ordered the chicken Francis which we loved in the past. Did not enjoy it this time. The server was not attentive as he came back after an hour to say our salad would be right out. We had already eaten and was waiting for our check. It was Valentine's day and perhaps they were busy.
Great meal, decent sized portions, delicious food, service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. No complaints
One of the best what a wonderful surprise to find an excellent Italian restaurant at the Seminole Casino
Our server Nancy was the best ever!! Celebrated a friends birthday and she and Sorrisi went out of their way to make her feel special! The food was delicious!
Kathleen was great!
I have been here many, many times and food always good. This time I was brought out a chicken parmigiana and it was very tough so I sent it back. They brought me another and it was worse. They did take it off my bill. The manager Nick came over and apologized and said next time we are there, he would do something. Home about doing it this time. Very disappointed.
We were a party of 9. Restaurant was half empty. The waiter was fine, but it took over 2 hours to get our food. 1 person ordered a medium rare porterhouse steak and it came out well done. 2 other people ordered chicken piccata, it was horrible. One person got their dish 20 minutes after the rest of the table. Another ordered veal piccata and got chicken piccata. The sauce for chicken parmesan was horrific, it was worse than jar sauce. I will never go back to this restaurant.
My waiter was excellent but the little older lady bartender was aweful. I complained that the glass of wine she poured me was sitting out for awhile and I requested a new bottle be opened. My waiter graciously accommodated me and told the bartender.
For my second glass I watched her empty the old bottle into my glass first and then topped it off with the newly opened wine. She knew the wine was beginning to turn and she tried to deceive me by mixing it with the fresh wine.
Also the lamp chop came dried out.
Once again, my waiter was excellent and helped fix the situation with the wine.
Worst experience of my lifetime. Never going again
Just love the management, staff and the food.
New Years Eve. They made our celebration extraordinary.
We weren’t sure what to expect New Year’s Eve. We were very pleased. I was server was excellent, I wish I could recall his name. The food was good and we were not rushed. I would say one thing. The reason why we don’t go to Sorrisi’s more often is because we think they are trying to hard. I’ve spent a fair amount of time in Italy, Sorrisi’s does not fully understand Italian cooking. They try to hard, far too many ingredients. Less is more with Italian cooking. That would be my only complaint and this is not specific to New Year’s Eve. Still in all we say well done, bravo:)
The best!! WE come at least 5 times a year. Always a winner.
Anthony was the best in recommending the foods and knowing the ingredients, also his assistant were always there to help excellent, but sad could not get points toward my open table rewards
Great service and food!!!!! Was ver please from start to finish
We waited 15 minutes to be seated though we were on time and had our reservation and the restaurant was nearly empty.,Food took over 40 minutes to be served and came to us almost cold. Sent both dishes back
and took another 30 minutes to finally arrive hot.Seems Sorrisi does not give their refires any priority.
Considering that this is a casino restaurant where the norm is great food at reasonable price served hot and quickly so that gamblers can resume gambling. they failed on all points.Does not compare at all to norms at HardRock property.True disappointment.
Great! We will be back!
Great food. Lovely experience.
The service was excellent as always with Dayna Long.
We have been to Sorissi’s many times and it never ceases to amaze us. The food is always fresh and delicious and We always look forward to Our return visit. The waiters and waitresses are top shelf and really make You feel welcomed. Definitely not to be missed.
Our waitress Dayna Long is just wonderful!!! She served us beautifully and has a personality of an angel. I ask for her every time we are there.
Terrific food, service was very attentive, nice casual dinner with friends
Sorry to say, we wanted to love this place. However, poor service, average food and old school waitstaff who were painfully slow and ambivalent to the customers do not make this restaurant somewhere to come and relax again.
Our meal was delicious ! The waiter Alan was very nice and attentive.
Have been here several times but this time it was way off. Our server was excellent but the bread was stale and just received 4 small pieces. The Caesar salad was very mediocre and the chicken Parmesan was rubbery. I guess all restaurants have an off night but it is usually Monday not Saturday. I would think the same executive who runs the kitchen at NYY which is one of the most excellent restaurants in South Florida would oversee this operation also. I probably will not be back for a long time as we have too many excellent Italian restaurants in our area. My Linguini and clams was excellent as well as the dessert.
We were celebrating our aniversary with dinner at 6:30pm and a show at the casino at 8:00pm. Salad and drinks came out quickly, but dinner took forever! We had to get a manager to expedite our entrees after waiting over 30 minutes! Didn’t have enough time to eat and enjoy. The other nearby guests all had the same bad experience. Completely unacceptable!
This meal was far less pleasing than our visit from 6 months ago. The staff at the entrance were not friendly at all. Our waiter was nice but did not know much about the menu...When asked what was special seasoning on the steak was..he replied...I think it like salt and some pepper.... Do not order the appetizer Carpaccio of Beef...$20 for less than an ounce of steak and some greens....you can order the whole filet for $40.
My wife had the the lobster raviolis...she said they were very good...but price....Carrabbas is a much better experience.
The only thing we really enjoyed was the wine....
Having visited many times the food is not as good as previously. Waitress indicated new chef and it shows. Chicken parmigiana just fair and meat sauce too creamy. Caesar salad just average but the chopped berry salad outstanding. Overall good but has been better. The service however was exceptional.
Great food, glad we celebrated our anniversary there as my husband who is a chef now has a new favorite restaurant. We got some of the most expensive entrees but WOW! Will be going there again for other special occasions!
Our meal at Sorrisi on 6/30/18, couldn't have been any better. My wife and I had been there before but the other couple had heard negative things about the food. We raved to them about the restaurant, the food, the ambiance and we knew that if anything went wrong, that we would never hear the end of it. We each picked a different entree and each one was better than the other. Unlike many restaurants we were able to have dinner conversation without having to scream and the ambiance of the establishment was excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend Sorrisi.
The service was by far the worst ive ever experienced there. I got often , and the hostess was clueless , as we waited over 30 minutes without any acknowledgement we were waiting.
The service/food took forever
The manager was okay at best.
This was our 3rd time here. Not a fan of the casino but my wife was given a gift certificate.
Tony, our waiter was very nice and very accommodating. You start with very good Italian bread that comes with olive oil, butter, roasted garlic and a sun dried tomato spread.
I started with the Calamari Arrabiatta ,calamari steak cut into sticks with an arrabiatta sauce and mild cherry peppers. Not spicy and just ok.
For mains, my wife ordered the Filetto di Tournedos,pan-seared filet medallions, gulf shrimp in a scampi sauce, and garlic spinach. No taste or flavor and for $38.
I had the Snapper alla Pescatora ,pan-seared snapper, shrimp, mussels, and middle neck clams served over pasta with a marinara sauce. It comes with Kale but I opted for the pasta. Very small piece of fish and basically non-descript for $38.
Great food. Service was great. Always enjoy the food
Our family loves everything about this restaurant EXCEPT for the unprofessional front desk staff. They can never ever get it right. They have the mentality of Mcdonald’s employees. For the pricing of this restaurant, they reception staff should learn from their neighbors at NYY who have it right. It’s unfortunate because it could be amazing but front desk ruin it
We had been to Sorrisi previously and found it to be expensive considering the quality of food, but decided to give it another try. We found the staff to be quite pleasant, but once again the quality of food no so much. Sorry, but Sorrisi is just not worth the prices they charge. We will not be going back.
