Went here for my anniversary dinner. Despite the fact that I called ahead and was assured the menu was super flexible and the chefs could make something, there was one option that could be manipulated into meeting my dietary restrictions and it was noodles in olive oil..... The place was beautiful and the people were kind but honestly, I wish I had not gone here.

The dining experience is simply wonderful. The “glass” dining room, the views, wine, and the food combine for a sublime place to enjoy life with friends.

Everything was great, except they ran out of bread! That made us sad. Everything else was good as usual though.

Everything we ordered, from the tomatoe bisque, to the rack of lamb to the butterscotch dessert was prepared to perfection !

Service was great, food was good. View and overall feel of the experience is very nice. I had the pesto prawns and it didn’t disappoint but at $24 it should really have included the tiny starter salad. My salad for an additional $6 was about 1 cup of lettuce. Essentially making my meal a $30 pasta meal. 😳 We got a bottle of wine and desssert so we did enjoy our experience. We wouldn’t be back due to value. We paid our $145 bill and just felt underwhelmed.

I have had dinner there many times. We are in fact wine c!ub members so our general loyalty is to the winery which the restaurant is a part of. Our recent experience was one of disappointment with the variety and quality of the food being prepared at the restaurant. It seems as though the restaurant is resting on it's past success. It clearly needs to update the menu in my opinion and focus on better preparation.

I booked a birthday dinner on Open table and the restaurant called the next day to inform me that they had a private event that night but could move our reservation to the next night. I said fine and upon ordering they comped our wine for the inconvenience. Totally unexpected but so nice! Really the best dining in Chelan!
