Birthday and Fathers Day
Wonderful evening with our server, Rosyln.
The food was tasty and the service was great. Servers seemed a bit shy, but otherwise friendly.
Beautiful restaurant with an outstanding view. The service was impeccable. Our wine choice was very good. My husband ordered the rack of lamb for dinner, which was INCREDIBLE!! Sooooo delicious! And just the right amount of pink. My choice, which was Pescatori, or something... it was a seafood fettuccine. It was one of the most expensive dishes on the dinner menu, and definitely NOT worth it. I was incredibly bland, and could barely taste the seafood because red bell pepper completely overwhelmed all the other flavors. I was very disappointed in my dish. Since it was a special anniversary dinner, I was pretty sad. My appetizer of scallops was quite delish, though, and they were perfectly cooked. Thank goodness for that . Our desserts were quite good. I had the Tiramisu, which was really good, and my husband had the Creme Brulee, which was also super.
Food was fairly good and location/ reasturant what GORGEOUS. However for a facy/romantic reaturant it was extreamy loud. We could barely hear eachother at our table. The waitresses were very nice and accomidating, however the people who were responsible for filling glasses and clearing the table were extremely bothersome. Attentive but bothersome. They would try to refill our water glasses after almost every sip and the second a fork fas set down they would try and clear the table even though we clearly were not done. Having multiple people constantly reaching over us made it hard to enjoy the meal.
It is a beautiful setting
I took my family for my 50th birthday. We were very happy with
the ambiance of the restaurant and the outside seating was a plus. The views of the valley and the vineyards were excellent.
The food was great although a little over priced. There were some flaws in our experience. The waiter told my 11 year old that he could not order off the kids menu. This embarrassed him and forced to order something he didn’t want. I payed almost $400.00 dollars for dinner. I thing the restaurant could afford to let my son order off the kids meal. Our waiter spent very little time at our table. We noticed he spent much more time with a larger group of diners. The bus boys were excellent. Our water glasses were never empty anddishes were cleared immediately when we were finished. Finally when making my reservation I was asked if this for a special occasion. I replied it was my 50th birthday. This occasion was never acknowledged at any time during our dining experience. Overall a good experience.
Beautiful restaurant inside and out. Food good but not great. Our waiter Wenscala was not trained well. Did not know the wines. Never checked back with us once food was served. He was pleasant but needs lots of training to be effective as a good waiter.
Another wonderful meal and experience! Whenever we are in Chelan, we will always plan on eating here. The view, food and service are always outstanding.
Beautiful scenery, great food and wine!!
Will return when in town again! Great atmosphere, quality knowledgable sevice, excellent seafood!
The food was very tasty but almost cold, disappointed!
Love this place! Everyone is friendly and very personable. You will not lack anything. It is situated so that you can see the lake or just listen to the waterfall on the property. The fireplace is great for the fall and cool times. A must experience.
I've been to Sorrento's many times and always have a good time. This visit, the food was better than ever! Had the daily fish special (halibut) and the seafood pasta. Both were excellent! Add that to the incredible view, wonderful wine and friendly, attentive staff and Chelan has a first-class, 5 star restaurant.
Amazing spot. Perfect for a date night. Will be back. 10 out of 10
Magnificent view. Wait staff is friendly and accommodating. Portions are small.
Very nice choice for a medium priced Italian Restaurant....
We had a wonderful birthday celebration at Sorrento’s. The food was wonderful and we had a great waitress.
Staff was friendly, energetic, engaging & knowledgeable. Tasting veritals before selecting dinner wines was a great touch. Service was quick & presentation excellent. The atmosphere is fun because the people are excited to be there possibly because the environment is diverse and stimulating. There is a feeling of freedom to explore and experience the facets of the winery and grounds. There is something for everyone.
We so enjoyed our experience at Sorrento’s. We love Tsillan Cellars wines and Italian food. Our waiter was very friendly and didn’t rush us. The funny thing was we belong to the wine club and forgot to get our discount! Lol
Previous visits have been better. I've been a reserved fan of their Tsillan wines as the quality has been uneven. This is the first time the food was off kilter for us. The steak was tender but vastly oversalted. Dessert was their salted caramel creation which was quite good. Service was timely but not genuinely warm. Overall a good experience but it fell short of great. The view is a plus.
Beautiful setting for Italian dinner. Great wine selection. Only had two issues: the chicken in the Chicken Marsala had the texture of microwave chicken, however, the other three dinners were exceptional. The only other issue would be that they do not serve espresso. Would have been a nice way to top off a fantastic Italian dinner.
The food was very good, with wine pairings suggested on the menu for each entree. Service also very good, and the views out across to Lake Chelan were outstanding, especially as the sun set. The restaurant and its surroundings are inspiring to look at and the wines (from the Tsillan winery, where the restaurant is located) were very good. Will go back the next time we are in Lake Chealan.
2nd time I have been in the area and made a point to go there for dinner. This time I had friends with me on a golf trip and they enjoyed the restaurant and would go there when in the area. The service and food was outstanding along with the view of the lake.
A gorgeous view, attentive wait staff, and good food, what more can you want from a restaurant! We didn't feel hurried and the wine was quite good. It is certainly a photo op type of place and we noticed many people taking pictures on the lawn outside with the great lake view in the background. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Lake Chelan! A not to be missed experience.
Fabulous location! A must try if you are in Chelan. Service was ok... little more like a diner waitress than a fine dining waitress, but nothing bad. Overall we had a very nice evening!
Side note that has nothing to do with the restaurant. Sad to see so many people thinking it’s ok to show up to a beautiful restaurant looking so sloppy. Logo tee shirts, sweat pants, and hats on during dinner... Yoga pants are not for a nice dinner date... really???
Quality of food for the price could've been better. My family and I came for my husbands 40th Birthday. My daughters mac and cheese was had no flavor, husbands crab giocchi bearly had crab and my pasta carbonara was very peppery, but the scallops was delicious! Maybe next time we will try protein dishes. Customer service and the view can't be beat.
Absolutely fantastic! Loved the appetizer as an entree option--great idea! Great service, and wine selection was great! We'll be back!!
The food and drink was excellent. The server was helpful and knowledgeable. Desserts were so good we had to get one of each to share in the group.
We dined here for our anniversary. For the price of 24.00 EACH.. our dinner included 2 large crab legs, I asked about a side, We were told we could purchase one for an additional $6.00 each. we did, a small Spinach salad. I am not a big eater but I came home and ate. The seating is not private for conversation or romantic eye locking. I would recommend a winery in Manson,(Close by) they too are pricey, but at least you don't leave hungry.
Our dining experience was amazing.
This is a Chelan Valley must.
From the moment you walk in, to the moment you can't wait to watch it again... wonderful
sorrentos is a place that we visit when we come to Chelan for wine tasting. it is a bit pricey but the food quality is good. the noise however, this time, at 7 pm on a Saturday night, seemed excessive with a lot of echo and it was hard to hear each other.
the eggplant was exceptional. ordering the garlic prawns as an appetizer and adding pasta and vegetables to make it an entrée was a good call.
the spaghetti carbonara got rave reviews.
Everyone makes you feel welcome and special. Truly out to please. Food is always good. The appetizers this year are phenomenal!
Best place to eat in Chelan, WA—great service, attention to detail and best view of Lake Chelan! The Restaurant is fabulous inside and out! A must to go to if you are visiting the area! The food is outstanding, great and very yummy! I always get the eggplant parmigiana! Top notch item just like in Italy! 💛
A member of our party was disuaded from getting a salad for dinner and was talked into getting an entree instead. The menu has a special note that shared entrees would have a $4 fee. The server asked if the person who would be getting the salad would be sharing with someone and even though the answer was no, still convinced him into a full entree. Spaghetti and meatballs was only luke-warm and dry. The ambiance is very pretty but food is mediocre.
I made a reservation letting them know it's our 10 year anniversary.
Every other restaurant I have been to for a special occasion have gone out of their way to make you feel special. BUT not this place! Which was a huge disappointment. The food isn't worth the $110+ that we spent. The taste/quality could have been something I got from a way cheaper place and would have been treated special.
The servier was nice.
I'm just more disappointed in the fact that they couldn't even take the time to make us feel special and that the food was nothing to write home about.
I will not be back next time I visit Lake Chelan.
Our second time there. Will definitely go again when we’re in the area. Friendly, quick service.
It’s always a wonderful experience at Sorrentos Restaurant—The food is delicious; the ambience is superb and the service is perfect. It’s one of the best dining experiences in the Chelan area.
Had a pleasant experience! The view was from the dining room.
Really good menu, atmosphere and service. We spent some time in their Tasting Room before our reservation so we already knew the wine to order. Definitely recommend a visit.
