Wonderful evening out!
Our server made our evening. She was attentive without being "on top of us", friendly, professional. I never saw a table left unattended, whether it be food delivery, table clearing, water refill. Great place for a visit with my best friend from out of town.
Impeccable service. Food is always consistently good. Limited wine by the glass selection. Otherwise top notch.
Sorrentinos is like that comfy shirt you have, it never fails to disappoint. Food is well prepared braised beef short ribs were the star (melt in your mouth tender). As an added bonus, Wednesday is bring your own wine night, with no corkage fee. Would definitely recommend.
Treated excellent. One issue dealt with brought another dish all good
Very pleasing. Will be back.
Stopped by with friends before a show at the Jubilee and had a terrific dinner. Food and service was excellent.
As always it was fantastic!
Always an experience and never disappointed, exceptional service and just great food!
What a great place!! Friendly staff. Food was so amazing wow the favours were perfect. Great wine list. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Our server was Emily and although she said she has been there for 3 years, she had to keep going to check about things we asked. Then she would disappear for a long time but came back saying she was training someone. We are from out of town and have been here before for a nice meal. Saturday service was not good and probably next time we come into town will try somewhere else. Food was still good but overall not best experience. Felt like we were a bother to her!
Appetizers and wine were good. Pasta (carbonara) had no flavour, and tiramisu was dry.
Took a very long time during a lunch meeting to be able to order.
Really enjoy. Server was excellent!
Pleasant waitress. Meal was fine. Nice that the wine was 25% off for a bottle & that we could take leftover wine home.
In attendance for a birthday. The food was excellent, the service good. Chef and staff accommodated the food allergies present at our table. Would definitely recommend for any occasion. Will definitely be back for more....
We felt we were being over attended to. We felt that we were being rushed even through the restaurant wasn’t full
This visit was a lot longer in the wait for the food to arrive. Not sure why. The waiter was good. But the time waiting wasn't. usually served within 20 minutes, this time was 55 from the time we got in the door and got our food. and it wasn't a busy time. people started showing up after we arrived and some of them go their food first. a little disappointing. doesn't mean we wouldn't come back though.
This restaurant is my go to place for get togethers, I truly enjoy my it there.
Thank you for the opportunity to say that Sorrentino's - on the South Side - was the right place to be on the first day of autumn. It was cool and rainy outside but inside we were treated with warmth.
The food servings didn't represent the cost of the meal. Only 3 groups were in the restaurant and I wonder why
We were here during ‘Mushroom Harvest’, and loved the special menu. The mushroom salad was heavenly!
As always everything was excellent!
Mushroom Harvest menu is terrific.
I was a disappointed by our dinner at Sorrentino’s, as it wasn’t as nice as I expected. The food was okay, the service was okay, but for the prices being charged, I expected much more. I’ve certainly had much better Italian food for much less money. The host who seated us was lovely and friendly, but our server was not that engaged, the decanter used for our wine wasn’t clean, the table was wobbly and while we appreciated the free dessert for celebrating our anniversary, I didn’t feel that we got a good value for our money here. I wouldn’t choose this restaurant again.
Great evening with friends. My pizza was outstanding. The only reason I didn't give my food a five star rating was that I shared it with a pasta dish with a friend. The pasta dish was very good also.
We were seated by the emergency exit door (and I'm sure that was because two children aged 10 and 11 years were in our party) and it was not the best seat in the house. The waiter was excellent but service was quite slow, and we waited for nearly 20 minutes post-meal to have our dishes cleared away and dessert offered. The waiter did apologize and said "more front staff" should have been on as there was a busy rush apparently during that time. However, for the price of the meals, I expect better service. No one came to check on how our meal was while we were eating; the waiter asked as he was clearing away our dishes. The food was exceptional but salty (I had a New York steak). We were celebrating a special occasion with our friend and the dining experience was not what I expected from Sorrentino's.
My Husband and I were given gift certificates to Sorrentino’s. We decided to use them for our anniversary dinner. We began the meal with a shared Insalata Bocconcino and herb bread with dipping oil. I would go back to have just that for a lunch. So yummy. Although the restaurant is Italian, for the main course, we both opted for steak. We left saying “what is the Keg”? Best steak I have had in a long time. The gravy that accompanied my tenderloin (which was EXACTLY medium rare as requested), was the most delicious red wine reduction gravy with mushrooms (I don’t know if that’s because it was mushroom fest or not). I could have eaten just the gravy over the mashed potatoes and been more than happy. The vegetables were properly prepared and imaginative...cauliflower, red pepper and parsnips....not just the usual stuff offered at most restaurants. My Husband had the New York steak for his main course and was really happy with it. For dessert, (complimentary because it was our anniversary), wonderful, wonderful tiramisu! I thought I didn’t like tiramisu. Guess I have had the lame stuff before this.
We had Heidi as our waitress again. She was fantastic! Peydon the manager greeted us as we walked in.
We love coming here! Always a treat!
Always enjoy Sorrentino’s. Go there regularly highly recommend.
Very good, one of my regular spots for business meals with clients.
Will book again for future business meals. V. Good food and service.
We were seated in a quiet private area, it felt like personal service. Loved it!
My wife is celiac so we both ordered gluten free so she could try my meal as well. She had pasta and I had veg pizza.
Both were absolutely delicious. Service was excellent as well. We will be back soon for sure.
Prices should reflect fine dining environment, loudness
is not fine dining to us. I think perhaps it's the small seating space,
people are very close to each other.
Side Meatball was quite a shock $4.25 golf ball size.
Very good food but service was a little slow.
Food was dry and tasteless, the service was fantastic.
Service and food was excellent! The Birthday girl received her dessert for free! The Tiramisu was wonderful.
Food was good and the evening was nice. Great service.
Due to Sorrentino's generous $20 birthday gift offer, I make it a point of having my birthday dinner here. It was particularly nice today as we were able to dine outside, Al Fresco enjoying the open air. ( Inside is well air conditioned by the way). My wife & I split a wonderful signature penne dish & still had extra to take home! The larger portion is indeed LARGE. The staff and food was excellent as we've come to expect. Wine was 25% off today, although we had summer cocktail drinks. We neglected to check that on Wednesdays, you can bring your own wine!
Good quality has gone down since I was last there. The restaurant was uncomfortably cold and waitress brought my daughter a refill on her drink which she did not order (I thought it was free refills) but then charged me for the drink which my daughter did not drink, I did not appreciate that.
