   Disappointing Anniversary Experience – Never Again We booked our table over 10 days in advance and specifically requested a window seat for our anniversary, which was noted in the reservation. Despite all time slots being available at the time of booking, we were not given a window seat, and the staff tried to brush it off. The atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable – cramped space, noisy, and chaotic. We couldn’t even hear each other talk. We were eventually moved to a slightly quieter spot, but even there, the seating was awkward – I had to move the entire table just to get to the washroom! The service was subpar. The server tried to lighten the mood by saying Obama had once sat there, which felt forced. On top of that, the server opened the wine and gave it to me (the man) to taste, ignoring my partner – something I’ve never experienced before in any fine dining restaurant. Food was equally disappointing. The appetizer was just average. For the mains, we ordered two types of steak – the tenderloin and hanger steak – and both were bland, poorly seasoned, and below even average expectations. For a supposedly high-end restaurant, this was unacceptable. Overall: No window seat despite request Crowded and noisy environment Poor service Bad food with no flavor Overpriced for what was offered This was supposed to be a special night, but it ended up being a huge letdown. First time and definitely the last. A truly bad memory for our anniversary.
