   Would not go back, go elsewhere! Overrated, my “she fancy” drink was awful overall food was meh, best part was the bread I picked at the salmon, the *pig was not good either

   The star of this restaurant is the food. The octopus appetizer had a delicious char and bright, acidic salad. The duck was rendered beautifully, crispy and flavorful. The burrata salad had the right idea, but the dressing on the salad overshadowed the other flavors. Enjoyed the caramel Brule and yummy drinks. We were celebrating and had two food allergies and made mention of this in our reservation. However, this was not acknowledged by the server. We made our own adjustments when ordering. The server was distant and not overly friendly. This was a disappointment but not enough to deter us from trying it again.

   So we ate their specials last night: the Korean BBQ Ribeye, lobster wontons, and the rigatoni. The food was all amazing! 2nd time here, will come back!!!

   The chef special Korean Ribeye was amazing, we also enjoyed octopus and the grilled Caesar salads. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. Probably the best finer dining in Lake Geneva.

    We made a reservation for Valentine’s Day but decided to sit at the bar. I started with a deliciously refreshing cocktail called She Fancy. Try the marinated olives. You won’t be disappointed. The bolognese pasta and pork tenderloin were amazing. Our bartender/server provided exceptional service.

    Took my sister here for a special dinner. Michael was our server. Could not have been a more pleasant experience. Everything that we ordered was beyond delicious and well presented. It was hard not to order everything on the menu. Frankly, I wanted to try it all. But Michael was there with us every step of the way and to help guide us in to our final orders. Between the food, atmosphere, and superior service, our expectations were far exceeded. Thank you to Sopra and to Michael! We will be back and we will relay nothing but strong recommendation to anyone who asks….. “where’s a good place to eat in LG?”

    One of my favorites in town. Always great wine list and drinks. Ryan the bartender is awesome. Pretty creative menu that changes seasonally. Our server was awesome even though he was covering so many other tables. Never felt rushed and everything was prepared really well and arrived within a reasonable time. Perfect night!

    Excellent Bistro! The service was prompt and friendly. All courses came in a great rhythm. Everybody enjoyed their meals very much. And the Wine List is fantastic.

    We enjoyed a wonderful New Years Eve meal in a vibrant, yet cozy, setting. We brought friends who had not dined at Sopra; and they were very impressed. All of us will be back again and again!

    Food was good, service was good and this restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Lake Geneva. A small restaurant but very quaint. I will be going back again.

    When recently visiting Lake Geneva for the first time, we searched for highly recommended restaurant for dinner, and were not disappointed! Sopra Bistro has outstanding food & service! The monkfish, trout & smoked mozzarella pasta were all amazing! Our server Ava was friendly and provided excellent service! We will definitely be back here again!

    Absolutely horrible and rude service. Took 2.5 hours to eat and we had three kids with us, no appetizers. Server was rude and never checked on us unless we flagged her down. 2 out of the 5 entrees were incorrect. At the end of the dinner we asked to speak with the manager and cancelled our wine order (because we had waited 15 mins already) and she told us to go find him ourselves. We frequented this place a lot but the service has really gone down hill. If you want a place to unwind and enjoy dinner, this is not your place.

    We were a little early for our reservation and were seated right away. We had the trout, duck and the baked olives for an appetizer. The food was all cooked to perfection. Best duck I’ve ever had. The skin was so crispy and the meat was very juicy and tender. Will return.

    Reserved via OpenTable but when we checked in was told we didn’t have a reservation. Showed the confirmation email from OpenTable and was told sometimes those reservations ‘don’t come through’ Service was excellent and atmosphere was great but the food was just ok. Beet salad was great but the 2 pasta dishes we ordered had very overcooked noodles. For the price, not a good value at all.
