Went for my birthday dinner. Excellent service and delicious food. We will be back.

A party of 3 carnivores. The food was more than just the usual very good, it was also interesting and worthy of discussion and sharing. Completely satisfying.

Pricey for the quality and amount of food that was served. Chicago pricing for food & beverage. The upstairs dining area is not conducive for all customers, a long narrow steep staircase. To use the restroom you had to go downstairs. I am sorry I want to support local restaurants & business's however this is not Michigan Ave. in Chicago!

Another great meal at Sopra. We were served by Michelle who took good care of us. We started with the chopped salad and potato bacon soup (i think). I had the scallops and really enjoyed them. Saw an NFL agent there, interesting surprise.

Food was great and came out hot. Portions were huge! Drinks were delish, would return!

It was a very nice evening, however dinner was a too salty. My wife and I shared the special which was Gnocchi with a Gorgonzola sauce that was too salty and overcooked and we also shared the roasted olives which are always amazing. We will go again and try one of the specials, it’s always a good time, maybe next time it won’t be as salty.

Good food with lots of depth and flavor. Everything I’ve had has been delicious, the service is great, and the ambiance is nice.

Indoor atmosphere was cheap looking. Food presentation was unappealing. Portions were small and taste wasn't worth price.

Literally the best dinner i have ever had. All the ingredients where fresh and delicious and perfect the the whole plate worked perfectly together and was cooked to perfection. Waitress was funny and professional and a was delight to our night. We will be returning again!!

Sopra Bistro was a great random find. The staff was super nice and energetic; the food was super creative and tasty. The vibe was clean and relaxed. Would absolutely go back and would recommend to others.

Service was ok, cocktails lame. Ordered a Moscow Mule and was brought a vodka tonic. Sent it back for a Moscow Mule but instead of The bartender, waitstaff, or manager explaining that they did not have ginger beer they concocted a lime juice tonic water vodka drink of some kind that made me pucker just to sip it.

We dined at Sopra last year and enjoyed it so much we wanted to go again this year when we visited Lake Geneva. They are doing a great job with social distancing. I had a specialty cocktail with vodka, picked onion and brine. The beet salad was amazing. I had spaghetti bolognese for entree and it was just average. My husband had pasta and loved it. Just an off night for me.

I’ve been a regular diner at Sopra for the last two months since I moved to Lake Geneva. I always sit at the bar and I’ve been impressed with the staff until last night. I was having a lovely evening until another couple sat down and I overheard how differently they were treated. The bartender was much more friendly with them and explained specials that we had never heard about. No big deal? As she was telling them the specials, another server walked by and said there was one order of the special entree remaining. This couple, seated 15 minutes after us, ordered the special we had never heard about and there was no more. It definitely made me angry to see that we were getting a lower level of service despite the fact that I had taken the time to find out the bartender’s name, Stacy, and introduced myself and my guest. Although I live a mile away and have previously enjoyed my experiences at Sopra, I don’t think I’ll be revisiting this restaurant any time soon, and what a shame as this other couple said, “We will definitely stop back when we are in town again NEXT YEAR.” You lost a regular customer, Sopra, because your bartender gave special service to people who stop in once a year.

The server took awhile to refill our drinks. Otherwise everything was wonderful, especially the food!

Wonderful Restaurant! We were a party of four and ordered four different entrees and shared them. The scallops and salmon were fabulous, and two of the pasta dinners were also excellent. Fun drinks, great wine. Perfect experience! Thank you Sopra!

All of the food was amazing. We did try a few of the specials and the lamb chops were exceptional. We had many of the appetizers and they were all spectacular also

Very delicious. Prices on the higher side but worth it given the food and service.

Food was fabulous! The selections were all unique. Seating was nice but the street is always busy and noisy. Too bad there was a back garden to use. Would have made the night even more wonderful

The octopus appetizer and Brussels salad were delicious. Gnocchi was just ok, it had good flavor. My husband had the farfalle with shrimp and it was pretty bland and presentation was lacking, it was not unsimilar to what we could of made at home. The dish contained jalapeños but you would have never known it. Drinks were stiff but we didn't get them very timely and there was only one other inside table at the time we ordered. Would definitely go back for the above mentioned app and salad but skip the pastas and maybe try something else. Overall good experience.

A nice place, but took forever to place our order and then forever to get the food. Food was very good when it came.

Dining-out in a nice restaurant during Covid has its challenges for restaurants, especially relative to ambiance. Can't wait to go back here when the dining experience is eventually unaffected by the pandemic.

Food and drinks were amazing but it took 3 hours to serve 5 people each one drink and one entree.

Anniversary

We went on a Thursday (half-price wine night!) and everything about the evening was perfect! We had a reservation and our table was ready when we arrived. We were seated and our server (I think her name was Laura) was at the table within minutes to take drink orders. Of course, we ordered a bottle of wine because, why wouldn’t you?? We were given just the right amount of time to enjoy our wine before salads were served and the same before entrees. The food was delicious (the beet salad was perfection). The service was impeccable the whole evening, which is pretty amazing because they were short staffed and servers were also having to make drinks for their tables. It was pretty full both inside and out and there was a festive atmosphere but not so noisy that you couldn’t have a conversation. Some might consider Sopra to be a bit on the pricey side but it is DEFINITELY worth what you pay to have food with a gourmet flair, great service and fun ambience!

Chef Simon never disappoints!! The food was delicious... AS ALWAYS!!! The only disappointment was not seeing Alastair and Carrie!!! Of course we’ll be back!!!! <3
