Sopra, an American Bistro, opened in the spring of 2008 with the goal of serving fresh and delicious Italian-American bold flavored foods, with global influence, in a fun and lively setting that makes our guests feel at home from the moment they walk in the door. Located on Main Street in the heart of downtown, Sopra Bistro combines the laid back atmosphere of Lake Geneva with the dynamic feel of Lincoln Park, Chicago.
The warm wooden barstools, chairs and tables create a harmonious balance of elegant American bistro and a comfortable neighborhood bar.

    Met with three old friends to catch up. The staff was so accommodating and kind! Food was excellent! We will definitely be back!

    It’s always a treat dinning at Sopra. Besides the great service, the food is delicious. My personal favorite is the grilled swordfish. We travel from Illinois just for a great meal, this is our favorite restaurant.

    My daughter and I took a last minute trip to Lake Geneva and booked a dinner reservation here for Saturday night. The food was amazing! We had a steamed mussels appetizer with truffle fries that was beyond delicious. We shared a grilled Caesar salad and the Nola pasta - amazing. We sat upstairs and shared a great bottle of wine. Super pleasant evening with great service.

    Service is always wonderful and people watching was great. Prices not great for portions. Beet salad was so small for price . Pasta dish was over salty . Duck was overpriced and not crispy .

    My server was fantastic. Very attentive and referred to me by name which I appreciated. I ordered the scallop dish with the corn puree and broccolini. The scallops did not have a sear on them as I expected, and the plate had a good amount of liquid on it. Not sure where it came from and it caused the few potato crisps (5) to become rather soggy. Otherwise, the atmosphere was wonderful and I would recommend.
