Curried chicken salad was delicious as was the Peche (so?) drink. They make a perfect Negroni also. I also enjoyed the crab cake sliders on another occasion and the avocado toast. This is a nice "ladies' lunch" or business meal kind of place. Doesn't seem like it's in a department store. The menu is a bit limited and a bit pricey but it's a nice overall experience.

Very nice luncheon menu. Good service and nice wine list. Wonderful place to relax after a morning of shopping.

Charcuterie plate is abysmal and overpriced cubed pieces of ordinary cheeses man chego some kind of spicy cheddar and another plain white cheese all cubed nothing special there the prosciutto was mediocre and the salami was not anything special either could’ve got it straight from the grocery store! What they call a cheese soufflé is nothing like a soufflé it is more like watery corn bread they need to rename it or remake it and allow extra time it is already premade and heat it up in a microwave or oven Out of a sheet pan !!Holy edible thing on the menu is there a burger and that’s because it’s covered up with a lot of wonderful things like onion jam and bacon and cheese never mind what a disappointment

The terrace could be more attractive - flowering plants or something growing up the walls.
Caesar salad was delicious, but expensive to add the salmon.

As always, Mark and his staff, including Mike, were truly hospitable and we enjoyed our mother daughter luncheon. Food was delicious, and it was a lovely hour.

We truly love dining at Sophie's for lunch and going with our friends. Brian and Mark & the other waiters make us feel very welcome. Unfortunately last Sunday they were out of beer and did not have time to replenish them. It was a bit of a disappointment as three of us had wonderful gourmet burgers so we're hoping that doesn't happen again.
Otherwise....very nice.

We each ordered a cocktail and they were delicious. I had the Shrimp Louie and was expecting something different. However it was good and the ingredients were very fresh and tasty. My friend had the salmon salad and she said it was wonderful. My bill for the Peache Cocktail ($12) and Shrimp Louis salad was $32. My friends Negroni and salmon dish was $43. A bit pricey for lunch but the service was excellent and the ambiance was nice. It's a nice ladies lunch out place!

Fabulous food! Cheese soufflé was a rave. Just sorry they didn’t have the coconut tre leche cake for dessert! Although the pistachio cake was very good. Best food in Sarasota! 6 stars.

Items on the menu were over priced and there were far fewer choices than shown on the online menu. Service was inconsistent considering there were only a few diners in the restaurant at the time. Very disappointing!

We love the outdoor patio! It looks beautiful and makes you feel very safe during the pandemic. We are hoping to dine at Sophie’s again!

Went for lunch. Drinks were good. Manchengo hush puppies were very good and the burgers were excellent. Small menu but there are several more items I’d like to try. Will go back.

50th birthday

We had a lovely Saturday lunch at Sophies! The ambiance was condusive to chatting and the food was amazing! The staff was so very helpful and there was no concerns about being too close or exposed. Each table was cleaned and spaced well. Mark and his team are amazing and always provide a special atmosphere and any occasion, even if it is just enjoying a special lunch with your Mom!

Three Ladies who Lunch! We went for the 3-courses for a special low price. Each of us enjoyed every bite. Salad so fresh, gnocchi were especially good with just the right amount of crispness and a perfect size small piece of pumpkin pie to top it off. Server very personable and attentive.

A lovely spot for dining with exceptional food and creative dishes. Our waiter, on this occasion, was passable as a server. I have never experienced this lack of attention or poor quality service before today. There was a light crowd, so, it was entirely on the waiter. It was in stark contrast to the many other times I have dined here and enjoyed a completely professional experience.

A little expensive but very good. Service was excellent.

The food is really excellent. I found $9. A bit steep for 6 hush puppies. The dessert was one of the best I’ve ever had! Scrumptious!

This is one of my favorite restaurants with my daughter. We eat here every chance we get and when she’s in town from college. The food is always great, staff friendly and service is fast. A good variety on the menu as well. Highly recommend this place.

Great place for lunch!

Lovely ladies lunch...The daily special did not disappoint nor did the house Chardonnay. Social distance was not an issue and staff were attentive and pleasant.

Sophie’s is a gem inside of Saks. Mark the manager and his team always make guests feel welcome. The food is always fresh and the drinks are refreshing. The patio is a wonderful addition to enjoy as well. One of our favorites. Week done

Always a pleasure to dine at Sophies - I usually bring my "girls" to enjoy lunch and was not disappointed again this past week. My friend and I split our choices and the kitchen separated them both for us with care for the presentation. The food was delicious and as always, the staff very friendly and helpful.

What a delightful surprise to find such a lovely, sophisticated restaurant within the walls of a department store albeit the fable Saks Fifth Avenue. Our waiter, Tim, introduced himself and noted that it was his first day. He had very able back up and gave us excellent service. The food was delicious and beautifully presented.

The polished glasses and silverware and white starched linens are a real treat. And the
food is always prepared and plated beautifully and tastes divine. Nothing bad to say
about Sophies.

Perfect place for ladies lunch. I had the beet buratta salad. It was delicious. My friend had a curry chicken salad. We both were happy with our choices. Great coffee and desert. Service was very attentive without being intrusive. Very polished. It’s just a lovely place for lunch. One of my favorites. I will be back soon.

Sophie’s has become our favourite restaurant in the area. Stylish and comfortable surroundings with Mark and his team offering friendly and professional service. The menu is creative and dishes are of a high standard and well presented. Excellent cocktails and well chosen wines.
