Awesome food as usual. Great atmosphere, amazing house margarita!
Management was excellent and very caring. I loved the food as well. It was the best Mexican I have ever had.
The service was five stars...attentive, friendly and all around made us feel welcome. The food was perfect...not greasy--just the right amount of sauce. It was truly a gourmet Mexican meal.
I came to see Marisa McKay's Thursday night writer's night - great music. I also had the veggie enchiladas - great flavor and very filling. Service was fast and friendly. I will be back,
The food was great! The service was top notch as well!
Bar service for the first round was extremely slow. We had chips and salsa immediately upon sitting down but no waters and a long wait for drinks.
Food arrived timely but was not real hot. Overall not a great experience.
Went for my so s bday, stayed it on my Opentable reservation...it was never acknowledged. Very disappointed.
It was a perfect night. The food was great. The trio dip appetizer is a wonderful start to the meal.
Great service! Server was very attentive & pleasant! Ahi Tuna tacos weren't that great.
Delicious food and amazing drink options. I highly recommend.
I love Sopapilla’s. The green corn tamales are out of this world. I tried the Chile con quesso for the first time this visit and it was delicious. One of my favorite places!
Prompt with table despite crowd since we had reserved on open table
Everything I've ever eaten here has been delicious. Creative taste combinations. Generous servings.
Lively atmosphere and loud "background" music. If you want a quiet conversation, this isn't the place to go.
My wife and I love Sopapilla's, and this visit was no exception to the excellent food and service we've come to expect. Sopapilla's is a great option when you're looking for something nicer than Las Palmas, and you're tired of Tex Mex in general. We've had quite a few items off the menu over the years and I've never had a bad meal. This time around I got two tacos—baja fish and Nashville hot chicken. Both were perfectly cooked. The hot chicken in particular was the perfect blend of honey and spice; the flavor was more complex than other hot chicken I've had in town. Sopapilla's always delivers on flavor with just the right amount of heat.
My only complaint is that they offered free dessert sopapillas for years and recently changed that policy so they are now 4 for $4. I understand that they may need to charge for them now (I'm not happy about it, but I get it), but I wish there was the option to only get 2 for $2, as my wife and I are usually here on dates and don't really need four at a time.
This was a very fun dinner! A little pricey, but definitely good quality and creativity. Will be back!
Great place for a date night! Low noise level, easy to hold a conversation. Food was great, definitely reminded me of New Mexico.
Excellent!! Tacos were amazing!!
Great service. Food was full of flavor; variety on the menu.
Usually my experience is awesome, but this time the food was a big disappointment
We always enjoy Sopapilla's. They have a nice happy hour, and the music is fabulous on Thursday nights.
The food is great, the service is always good.
We had a great time. Good food and great service.
Son home from collage and requested this dinner!
I came for the blue corn enchiladas. It's been 29 years since I had blue corn enchiladas with a fried egg, and these didn't disappoint!
I absolutely love the food here! Delicious! It's the perfect place for just about any occasion. I especially love sitting on the patio.
The manager actually came to our table to apologize and since we waited 40 minutes for our drinks which were ordered at the same time as apps, we had finished our apps. Then to our surprise she said she had the wrong table and instead of being polite and asking how our meal was her only comment was “oh, wrong table”. I’ve never experienced a manager being so rude. We spent over 2 hours and barely to any food or drinks. Worst experience ever.
Service was great, food was good as well. Fun place to eat on a date or with friends.
Food was great. We had a lovely waiter. But the music was a little loud to have a great conversation.
Really great, clean Mexican food! Great margaritas. Consistently good!
We randomly stopped in for a quick late lunch before we drove back to Knoxville and we were blown away by the quality. The house margaritas were excellent and the food was creative and delicious! We will go back next time we are in town for sure!
We frequent your establishment and love it. The food was great, but the service was sub-par. My husband went without a drink for far too long, and finally had to ask a passing server (not ours) to fill his water. We were sat in the back room, which may have been why our service wasn't great.
Great service, great food, not to pricey will definitely go back.
Always a great choice !
We had a great meal. Highly recommend. We were in a hurry to get to a church service down the road and our family was in/out in 55 minutes. Could have stayed much longer. Nice ambiance and could be a date spot.
Went with some friends on Valentine’s Day and it took forever to get our food. The waiter was very attentive but the kitchen took way too long to get our food. I thought they may be raising the chickens to butcher for my chicken enchiladas.
Joshua was fantastic, and made our date night extra fun! Best service we’ve had in a long time!
Great food and service
Good food and great service. I was surprised that they don’t offer the free sopaphillas at the end of the meal anymore like they used to when they first opened. Overall it was a nice place to enjoy dinner with my wife.
The brisket and carnitas street tacos are my favorite!
Authentic New Mexican Southwest food.
