We always enjoy Sopapilla's. They have a nice happy hour, and the music is fabulous on Thursday nights.
The food is great, the service is always good.
We had a great time. Good food and great service.
Son home from collage and requested this dinner!
I came for the blue corn enchiladas. It's been 29 years since I had blue corn enchiladas with a fried egg, and these didn't disappoint!
I absolutely love the food here! Delicious! It's the perfect place for just about any occasion. I especially love sitting on the patio.
The manager actually came to our table to apologize and since we waited 40 minutes for our drinks which were ordered at the same time as apps, we had finished our apps. Then to our surprise she said she had the wrong table and instead of being polite and asking how our meal was her only comment was “oh, wrong table”. I’ve never experienced a manager being so rude. We spent over 2 hours and barely to any food or drinks. Worst experience ever.
Service was great, food was good as well. Fun place to eat on a date or with friends.
Food was great. We had a lovely waiter. But the music was a little loud to have a great conversation.
Really great, clean Mexican food! Great margaritas. Consistently good!
We randomly stopped in for a quick late lunch before we drove back to Knoxville and we were blown away by the quality. The house margaritas were excellent and the food was creative and delicious! We will go back next time we are in town for sure!
We frequent your establishment and love it. The food was great, but the service was sub-par. My husband went without a drink for far too long, and finally had to ask a passing server (not ours) to fill his water. We were sat in the back room, which may have been why our service wasn't great.
Great service, great food, not to pricey will definitely go back.
Always a great choice !
We had a great meal. Highly recommend. We were in a hurry to get to a church service down the road and our family was in/out in 55 minutes. Could have stayed much longer. Nice ambiance and could be a date spot.
Went with some friends on Valentine’s Day and it took forever to get our food. The waiter was very attentive but the kitchen took way too long to get our food. I thought they may be raising the chickens to butcher for my chicken enchiladas.
Joshua was fantastic, and made our date night extra fun! Best service we’ve had in a long time!
Great food and service
Good food and great service. I was surprised that they don’t offer the free sopaphillas at the end of the meal anymore like they used to when they first opened. Overall it was a nice place to enjoy dinner with my wife.
The brisket and carnitas street tacos are my favorite!
Authentic New Mexican Southwest food.
The pineapple guacamole is a favorite!!! The food was delicious!
They had issue in kitchen and the manager went around to each table and explained situation. She handled it very well and we were fine with delay. Good was good and atmosphere always great. Server was below average
Sopapilla's NEVER disappoints! The food is absolutely incredible every single time.
I’m not sure why I got an email saying that we didn’t go.
I told the hostess when we checked in that we had an Open Table for 2 at 11:15.
Food and service were good. We chose to sit where live music was being played and really enjoyed the artists.
Food is always amazing, as well as the service
Great margaritas as delicious food! It is a bit on the spicy side. I grew up in Santa Fe and this is more spicy than a lot of the food there, but it’s still really good. I do wish they would back off the heat a little bit in the salsa and sauces because it’s more authentic to let the flavors come out and not get lost on the heat. But this is still one of our favorite restaurants. The Sopapillas are absolutely authentic!! EXACTLY like you would find in a cute little restaurant on the Plaza in Santa Fe!!
Been there once before. This time EVERYthing was top notch. Our waiter could not have been more pleasant or attentive. The food was a total satisfaction for all four of us.
We WILL be back.
Charred romaine salad is a amazing! Came back just for that!
It has been a few months since we visited, and it was a major disappointment to not get sopapillas included with our meal. That was the only draw for my husband to go... just sad.
This was a birthday celebration for a young lady who loves Mexican food. Andy, our server, was appropriately attentive. All the dishes were nicely presented and prepared. The pineapple guac was great. So was my steak fajitas. The desert Sopapillas were very tasty. Will be coming back.
Great food and service as always at our favorite place! Only drawback this visit was the terrible 70s music.
This is one of my favorite 'go-to' local spots. Unfortunately the service was very slow this time. We were seated at our table for almost 10 minutes before our waiter came by. After he did make it to the table he was apologetic and pleasant. He took our orders and then drinks were very slow coming from the bar (about 10 minutes on my wife's and 15 on mine). This has not been our normal experience and we will definitely return. Just a bit disappointed this time.
Great ambiance, hot chicken taco was delicious, but the steak fajitas were chewy & bland. Don't order a mojito either. Service was attentive.
Celiac friendly! We love the food and they are great about gluten free options - most of the menu is gluten free. Excellent food - we love the blue corn chicken tacos, and the tableside guac is fabulous. Cocktails change with the season and are always good.
Nice food, not huge portions. Friendly service and good price. Great atmosphere in restaurant.
We lived in New Mexico for 6 years before moving here a couple years ago so we were interested in trying Sopapilla's. The owner's story also intrigued us and it's close to our home. Interestingly, there were no sopapilla's served with dinner, which is a staple at restaurants in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. (They just come with the meal like bread.) I had the green chile cheese burger and my husband had a quesadilla. The chips and salsa were great (we ate too many). He liked his quesadilla. The burger was hot and fairly tasty, but the fries were barely warm and the cheese and chiles slid off the burger in one gooey mess as I bit in. They seemed to be all one unit of cheese/chilis. We'll try it again before we recommend it or make it a favorite
Was very good service and food. The restaurant week deal not as good as could have been. The Guacamole appetizer was very small. And I miss the sopapillas at the end of the meal. No you charge. Kinda takes away from what makes you stand out. Now you just like every other Mexican restaurant. Nothing special
Mike was a great server!
