   My wife and I agree with another reviewer that this was a total wow experience. The enchanting amber-lit outdoor setting, the excellent service staff, and the outstanding food and drinks—everything about SO•PA was incredible. We think this is definitely a Michelin star worthy restaurant. SO•PA provided unique preparations that made each course delightfully inventive and super delicious. The menu changes from time to time, but I loved the rack of lamb - a generous serving with a wonderful mustard herb crust, accompanied by roasted squash, Merguez sausage, and a cherry infused au jus. My wife loved the salmon with a quinoa crust - cooked perfectly to a buttery melt in your mouth perfection and served with fennel, carrot mousse and grilled citrus. The seasonal blossom salad was complex, light and amazing. The dessert was a Basque herb-crusted cheesecake that was sublime. Also the wines we had were superb. For us this was five stars all the way. We will definitely return.

   We visited SO.PA for the tasting menu and wine pairing dinner. The concept was intriguing but the wines were nearly undrinkable. The food was lovely yet very rich and meat heavy.

   Sometimes a restaurant provides too much service. That was our most recent experience at Sopa. Too many visits to the table. Too many water refills (before the glasses were even close to empty), too many wine pours (we can do that, thanks), too many check ins. Let us enjoy the meal—too many interruptions of our conversations. The food was lovely, the setting superb. Just give your guests a little space.

   There were 10 of us and the service was amazing! The food was fabulous and the setting could t be more beautiful. The wait staff was very attentive. And everything was delivered in a timely manner. If you have a special occasion or looking for a romantic spot this is your place. I can’t wait to go back!

   Our party of four, including one vegan, had a wonderful dinner at Sopa. Every dish we had was delicious. The service was excellent and the outdoor dining area was beautiful. The place is expensive but not overpriced for the high quality food and experience. Highly recommended.

   Pleasant ambiance. Attentive service. Both food and wine significantly overpriced. In the end, our meal was only mediocre. Recommend dining at other Palm Springs establishments where value is more in line with cost.
