The staff were most gracious about our request to sit in a warmer location on the patio as they did not have the heat lamps on. They relocated our table. They were very attentive and friendly. Everyone in our party of 6 enjoyed the food. The salmon salad and chocolate cake were particularly delicious. Prices are high but typical for Sonoma, especially wine by the glass. There was a crying toddler near our table which became annoying but not the restaurant’s fault.

My meal was disappointing. The soup was Ok, but I couldn’t taste any flavor or ginger. The turkey was dry and the mashed potatoes were so bland. If it weren’t for the gravy, the meal would have bad. The stuffing and roasted veggies were tasteless. The pumpkin cheesecake was delicious and our server was excellent.

We ate out on the back patio which was nice and they had heaters if you needed them. It is very conveniently located just off the square so was easy to walk to. Our meals were tasty. The waiter wasn't super friendly and seemed a bit annoyed with some of our questions about the menu. He could have just been having a bad day, so if we are back in the area, we might give this place another try.

NY Steak had a "red wine sauce". It was spicy, no mention of that in the menu description. Didn't like the Pinot they had. Halibut special was ok. They had some type of a red sauce that didn't pair well in my opinion. I'm not saying we hated it. But we don't think we will be returning.

We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful evening. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure everything was fine. The food was fantastic and the potions were just right. We will definitely go back again and recommend it to people.

We loved this restaurant. We shared a shrimp cocktail and each had an entree with seafood. Both were really good. Our waiter was nice as well. We would definitely return.

Our server was attentive and friendly. Appetizers and drinks arrived quickly and dinner was timed perfectly afterward. I had ceviche with Petrale sole was delicious. Highly recommend.

First time at Sonoma Grille. All really good. The homemade spinach tagliarini was amazing. Given I was with my Italian top cook Mamma, that’s saying something. She agreed. We’ll be going back. The patio is really lovely. Excellent service. Thank you.

We had an amazing experience on the back patio. They seated us in the rear by a fountain. It was our anniversary they started us off with complementary glass of champagne. We had the smoked salmon carpaccio, which was excellent our cocktails were top-notch they must have a very experienced high level bartender, my wife had the red snapper, which was probably the best she’s ever had and I had an amazing outstanding fillet. The service was excellent. I would highly recommend the Sonoma grille.

I was very disappointed in our experience at this restaurant. A local recommended this place to us saying they had great seafood. I highly disagree. My dish had tiger shrimp which were very tough. Another member of my group ordered calamari which she actually had to send back due to being inedible. They were extremely tough and chewy. The noise level was so loud we had to shout to talk to each other and our server. Our server was the only bright spot and was very friendly and attentive. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

We chose it for convenience as we were staying across the street. Reservations were for 7:00 and it was very busy. Took quite a while to get our food and my husbands was cold but by that point we were too hungry to send it back. A bit on the pricey side for the portion you got. It was tasty though! Not sure I would go back

The dining room and patio were lovely. The service, food and cost of bad food were not. Sadly. Would not go back. The $35 'tough as leather pork chop with no side (mashed potato/could cous/rabe/sweet potato hash, something for heaven's sake(was not on the plate. It was pork chop in a tasteless watery soup with some mushy tiny broccoli pieces drowning in the same tasteless watery soup. It really was a disaster in a bowl. Also, maybe don't serve a pork chop in a bowl.

We were visiting from out of town. Happened to be our friend’s birthday. We brought a cake to the restaurant before dinner to surprise her. The staff was so accommodating. Caesar, our server, was friendly and knowledgeable. His suggestions were excellent. We ate in the patio. Great ambience. Food was delicious. We are definitely going back the next time we are in Sonoma.
