Amazing off-strip location with a great vibe, great food, and great prices. I highly recommend it, but I don't want to be such a cheerleader because it is a favorite and I like to be able to go there without waiting multiple hours for a seat.

This is the best steakhouse in the area. Our waiter, Huey, was SENSATIONAL! The steak was cooked perfectly and everything was delicious. Don’t waste time going to the Strip - the best steak is right here in Sonoma Steakhouse.

I have had fabulous food at this establishment before, but this last visit, the steak was very tough. Not worth the over$50 that was charged for it. So disappointed! The wedge salad was perfect though. Baked potato was overcooked. A large group came in very noisily mid dinner which ruined the ambience. Sorry. I hope it is just a one off because it had become something I looked forward to doing when in vEgas.

My first experience, which was a few months ago was outstanding. We had the Rib eye steak which was absolutely wonderful, and the service was quick. But this time around, we had to wait for our dinner for over 40 minutes, and by the time we were served, the food was warm at best. I was disappointed by the size of the Salmon. In my view, the price did not warrant the size. My date had the Filet Mignon and although she though it was good, she mentioned there were not enough spices, or herbs to enhance it. This time around, for a Thursday evening it was packed, so maybe that was a factor, but when you spend close to $200 for a meal, you want it to be a pleasurable experience. I assume it was just an off night for Sonoma. I still intend to be a patron.

The overall service was pretty good. The initial food service (bringing out the food: appetizer) was pretty quick, but after we placed our entree order we had to wait about 40-45 minutes for it to come out. We both had medium steaks, and I had a sweet potato and my wife had French fries. Overall, the food tasted good. The price for the meal though was probably $15-$20 more per entree than what we felt it should be. A porterhouse was about $57 and probably should be in the $30-$35 range, and my wife had the petite filet and ($47) and probably for the size and flavor was worth about $20-$25. The sweet potato was very good, but again, $10 for a sweet potato (grant it it was a large potato) probably should be about $6-$7, French fries shouldn’t be $10, especially for the amount. Maybe should be in the $5-$6 range. Overall we payed about $187 (without tip) for two cocktails ($17 apiece) the steaks, and the two sides. We felt the food tasted good but overall the meal was probably worth about $90-$100 dollars. I WOULD recommend the restaurant if your going for a special occasion, but if you’re just wanting a steak dinner and a couple sides, you could maybe get a little better deal at a different spot. Oh! I would like to mention that one of the waiters did offer us concert tickets to the evening show. We were very appreciative of the offer, and we didn’t feel this was because of them doing anything wrong. We just weren’t huge fans of the entertainer that evening. But the offer was very nice.

Our server was attentive and food and drinks came out in a good time. We both had Filet steak and they were cooked as we wanted. Our sides of fries, mushrooms and charred corn were also good. The only complaint I have is that we ordered port at the end and our server said it was Taylor’s which I wanted. The port he served us was not Taylor’s but a US brand. He should have told us they did not have the one I wanted.

Awesome good and service! Was able to walk in the first night then made reservations the second time. Great ambience with casual attire! We had the petit filet, surf and turf special with Canadian lobster that was so sweet. Cesar salad, French onion soup and lobster bisque - ono!!!

Food was excellent and timed accordingly. Water and Wine Service on point. Javier was friendly, attentive and informative. ALL food was great, 2 dishes I would highly recommend: Baked potato (dressed and halved for you "their way") and the Carrot Cake Bread Pudding (need I say more?) Management presence in room ensuring guests were being taken care of. Great Job 👍🏼

This was a special dinner for my husband's birthday. He loves seafood. I asked a Facebook group, What's Up Henderson, for recommendations and Sonoma Cellar was highly recommend. I ordered the French onion soup, bone-in ribeye and a side of sautéed mushrooms. Everything was excellent. I enjoyed the upscale quality, service and ambiance of Sonoma Cellar. They definitely give other steakhouses in the area a run for their money. When dining at Sonoma Cellar, ask for Javier. His professionalism, attention to detail, and knowledge on wines is greatly appreciated.

They ran out of the grass fed filets on the menu, so we got a 'normal' filet and a NY strip. They were OK but we found both of them exceedingly fatty and lacking the flavor of grass fed. Steak tartar appetizer was excellent. However, the fried calamari appetizer was neither hot nor crispy - the sogged-out batter just fell off in the dipping sauces. Steamed veggies likewise came out barely warm and very wilted, like they had been steamed half an hour ago then left to overcook in the bowl before serving. They should be bright green and crisp; what we got was gray-green and mushy. We've been to Sonoma Cellar several times and enjoyed the meal very much, so we know they can do better, but we may hold off a while before trying again.

Juan was terrific. While there is no gluten free menu, we were easily able to find delicious entree and side dish dinner options. They have a flourless (gluten free) dessert, however, it is made with butter, and we need dairy free as well. But no problem, our dinner was beautifully cooked, and knowing we were attending a concert, they were very good about not rushing, but getting is out in time to make the show! What a great place for the dinner section of our stay-cation.

There was no hostess waiting to seat us when we arrived. We sat several minutes waiting for our waiter to acknowledge us. The food on the preset menu was less than stellar. Soup, salad and dessert were good but the main course was lack luster. The salmon was a bit undercooked. The quinoa wasn’t had very little flavor. My steak was well prepared but not seasoned at all and my broccolini was over charred. I have eaten here before and it was good so maybe it was just the preset menu that was underwhelming. The wine wasn’t great but we did get to keep the leftovers.

The wine was exceptional. The Prime New York steak was the best I've ever had. Husband had the Halibut, good but not amazing. The same could be said about the creme brulee. The bread basket was mediocre (wish the sourdough could have been more flavorful. More variety and more availability would have been nice. I had the mushrooms with my steak ... way below par. Lots of mushrooms, but little flavor. Wish other guests would have dressed more appropriately. Jeans, shorts and t-shirts not acceptable in what is supposed to be a classy restaurant. We were disappointed to see that this was allowed. Not sure if we'll return. We chose what was billed as a great dining experience. Unfortunately, there were many deficits. Our server was great, and we were happy he paid good attention to us.

This was our second visit. We were impressed by the first visit, so we returned for a date night dinner. We decided on the Porterhouse and we were told they only had one and it was just ordered by someone else. It wasn't late it was a 5:45 pm reservation on a Saturday night. There was evidently a problem. Served three sides and only ordered 2 and the 3rd was picked up from the table. We were told it would be taken off the check. The check came and it was not removed. It was not busy and it seemed that it was not of interest to provide service in accordance with the prices being charged. Will not be returning. Very disappointed.

We really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. We enjoyed the ambience. The food was delicious. I must say, our server, Huey, really made a special impression with us. He was kind and gave us plenty of time. Of note, he shook all of our hands at the end of serving us, and told us he enjoyed meeting us. Honestly, we’ve never had a server do this before, and we were very impressed. We would greatly enjoy coming back again!
