Sonoma Cellar Steak House - Sunset Station Hotel & Casino
Start with a delicious selection of appetizers such as our bacon-wrapped shrimp, soups like our lobster bisque and salads like the signature Steakhouse Salad. Remember to always save room for our incredible desserts.
Choose from our award winning wine list that a restaurant of this name can only have. From start to finish, it will be a meal you won’t soon forget!
We always order the filet and lobster special. What a deal. So very, very delicious. Our favorite server is Poom. She is fantastic. We will be back many more times. Great service, great food, great ambiance. Good job.
The Filet was scrumptious and cooked perfectly. The lobster bisque was rich and creamy. The bread was fresh and crusty with delicious soft and salty butter. Only one complaint, I made a reservation for a birthday, they did not acknowledge my rescue at, they apologized as I mentioned it on the way out the door, I was so disappointed, I reminded them also when they seated us too...
We had a great experience as always. The food, generally superb, however, the Calamari was subpar at best. I got mainly crums of the Calamari. Additionally, it seems as if the bacon wrapped shrimp seemed over cooked. But, the service is excellent.
Great food and great service with reasonable prices.
I have been dining at the Sonoma Cellar for near a decade and lately it just isn’t as good as it used to be. The food preparation just doesn’t have the Steakhouse feel anymore, the presentation is too contemporary, steaks are either under or over cooked, no consistency. Oscar style used to be a descent amount of crab and 3-4 asparagus spears, this time very little crab and 2 asparagus spears. Twice baked potato was a greasy over cheesed mess. Limited moderately priced wine selections. Asked waiter for a wine recommendation and of course he suggests a $90 bottle, took second suggestion which was $48, it was ok but not worth the money. Overall I have been disappointed with my past two visits.
We go to Sonoma Cellars every year for Christmas , Mothers Day, and our anniversary. Great food. great service, and a nice pleasant atmosphere.
Had a great evening, enjoyed our steaks, and scallops. Brian was our server and as always he was excellent. Also Christina was very attentive.
There for my husband birthday...everything was wonderful!! Really enjoyed the live music
Nice surprise. Inside Sunset Station did not make me think this restaurant would be so nice with really good food. We like to have crab legs and we only went to Flemings because it's always good there, However, now we have found a new place, not only was it just as good but half the price. The calamari was excellent too. We now have a new favorite
We have been to every station casino steak houses. Austin's used to be our favorite. But Sonoma Cellar was far and beyond our favorite. Service . . Excellent. . Ambiance.... Excellent.... Food... Supreme. It was our Anniversary and everything was excellent ❤️
The atmosphere is so pleasant. The service is exceptional and the food is delicious!
If you go, ask for Bryan Valentine to be your server! He makes sure you are totally satisfied throughout your dining experience. The filets are the best and my wife loves their salmon. Great support staff keep your drinks filled and individual requests filled quickly. Great place!
From the service to the food to the ambience, everything was fantastic. Will definitely return.
This was an impromptu visit by us this particular evening, and are we glad we decided to go. We are known to several of the employees there, and they take very good care of accommodating us. Food was terrific, our waiter Jose was excellent, and we love the vocalist they have singing during the dinner hour. It's a great spot like what we did, or a family gathering, date night, whatever. The food is great. The staff is very good, and the cost is within reason, moderate.
Tuesday night, dining solo at the bar. The bartender was personable, knowledgeable and provided just the right amount of service. Food was good, recommended.
Our waitress Poom, was outstanding! Very helpful and knowledgeable with the items on the menu. Service was impeccable!
We love Sonoma Cellar for our special occasions such as our anniversary. Makes the occasion even more special.
A disappointing evening at a usually good restaurant on Saturday. So much garlic in the broccolini that neither my friend nor I could eat it. I even sent mine back to be rinsed off. It was returned cold. My salmon and my friend's filet mignon were both almost too salty to eat. The medium rare filet was also hard on the outside, probably due to being coated in so much salt. The Caesar salad we shared was fine. We did tell the waiter about the salt problem, but his response was simply, "I'll tell the kitchen." I won't cross Sonoma Steak off my list, but they can do, and have done, better.
I felt upscale and I loved it. Oysters were really good.
We went for my husbands birthday and brought our daughters with us. One daughter is very picky but really enjoyed her food. They split the filet and lobster and both girls finished all of it including a side dish. The service, food, atmosphere all was amazing. Everyone works together and everyone was very polite and courteous. They even have a singer who has an amazing voice and it’s a good touch when dining in a nice restaurant. Will def come back
Delicious food. Steak cooked perfectly. Staff attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly without being intrusive. Beautiful atmosphere and decor. Sonoma cellar is now one of my favorite places!
Everything was exceptional until the earthquake hit at 8:19. No one seemed to know what to do or say.
Possibly training the staff for preparedness would be a suggestion.
I know situations like this are rare but when and if they do occur, anxiety levels increase.
Friendly, knowledgeable service and delicious food. They used to have sauces, like peppercorn or hollandaise, which you could pair with your steak- a little disappointing that they are no longer a menu option.
Though we live just a few miles away, we haven't been to Sonoma Cellar in years. Our loss! This place is easily one of the better steakhouses in Las Vegas. Great decor, great food and very good service. Entertainment in the lounge was excellent, too. Veal chop was my favorite, but everything we ordered was really good. We'll be back for sure.
We have eaten here many times, as a twosome or in a large family group. We are always amazed at the excellent service we receive, as well as the assortment of wonderful food they serve. The servings are large, the quality is excellent, and the there is something available for every taste. That includes their drink menu and service. And recently ate there on a weekend and were pleased with the live singer who provided entertainment.
We had a fantastic dinner at Sonoma Cellar Steak House. The restaurant was very elegant and there was a singer with a beautiful voice. It was Restaurant Week so I had their special. The breads were delicious. I had to control myself so I wouldn't ruin my appetite. We both enjoyed our salads. My date ordered an Old Fashion and it was quite tasty. We had red wine with our meal and it went so well with the steaks. I ordered the Prime Loin and he had the Bone in Rib Eye. Both steaks were a very generous size and the taste was out of this world! They were cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. We shared the baked potato which was huge and we could only finish half. The sautéd asparagus was very good. We had the peanut butter cheesecake for dessert with coffee. The whole dining experience was memorable and I think this steakhouse is one of my favorite steak restaurant now. We had a minor problem with our check, but the waiter apologized profusely and took care of it quickly. Try their steaks, you will enjoy them!
Our experience was wonderful. I felt like it was a local restaurant. Everyone was so kind and calm. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was so relaxing. The young lady singing was probably the best idea this restaurant could have added. Most places don't have this. She sang songs so well. We went to celebrate my father-in-laws 85 birthday and on our way out I asked her for just a picture with her and my in-laws for memories. She stopped her singing to sing Happy Birthday to him. It was so special. The food is also amazing. You won't regret the price for all you get, service, great food and atmosphere.
Service and food was excellent had a good time with friends celebrating 2 birthdays. We had a good time and Tony’s tropical martinis were excellent. Steaks were good and the scallops were very good. Recommend this restaurant to everyone.
We don’t get to that part of town very often. We will be sure to visit Sonoma Cellar Steak House when ever we do!
Always a FABULOUS meal with GREAT service. Huey was our server and was very attentive
Suggestion: Offer "Handbag Holders" that are weighted down and hang from tables..allowing for women (or men) to NOT have to use the floor for purse type items
Have the server note the use of it (or them) on the order sheet of how many were offered the use of and they be responsible for the collecting of it (or them) when presenting the bill to minimize theft. :)
The restaurant is chic yet maintains a family business feel. The food was excellent and definitely a great value. The service was impeccable and friendly. I enjoyed the entertainment which is definitely not common this day and age.
There is nothing I like more than excellent service when you are paying good money for food. It's the experience. The table bread was delicious. Lounge singer was great.
Beautiful restaurant. The food was wonderful. Service was wonderful. The live entertainment was outstanding. Will definitely return.
When we are at Sunset Station, which is every other month, we always dine at Sonoma Steak House.
We ask for Brian to be our server, he is absolutely outstanding and makes our dining a fun this to do.

Looking forward to coming back. Great atmosphere for special occasions.
The food was delicious, the wait staff was friendly and kind. The live music was pleasant throughout dinner. She even said she would learn a song for our next visit. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner and we will be back.
My wife and I dine here about twice a month. The service is always top rate and we have yet to be disappointed with any of the meals we have tried. Personally, I like the filet with twice cooked potatoes on the side.
We had a table of 4. Three of us had a good meal. One ordered a ribeye steak and it was not tender and was not a grilled steak. When I asked how the steak was cooked, they said it goes thru a very hot oven. That is not how to cook a steak.....steak had no taste. And this is a steak place??
Best steak house in Henderson. Outstanding food and service.
I had the wedge salad. It was supposed to have blue cheese crumbles on it, it tasted more like feta cheese. It also had pepper in it. My husband had the filet. His steak also had pepper/ peppercorns on it. I think that the restaurant or the server should inform you about the pepper. We both do not like pepper.
