our attendant and his assistant we're very on top of things with not being overly in your face. The steaks were absolutely cooked to perfection and the beef was tender and well aged. The treatment for our 47th wedding anniversary was very outstanding.

First visit in 35 years (just moved back to Loveland) since back in the day when it was the top rated Catacombs. Still 5-star in every respect. Expensive? Yep, but it's fine dining at it's best! We ate in the dining room with great steaks and great wines so it wasn't cheap. Bar is super and bar menu looks quite affordable for a Friday night happy hour. Good to see that our old favorite is still everything we remembered!

Might have just hit the restaurant at a bad time. Took 25 minutes just to get a drink. 2 meals came out incorrect then 2 people had to eat while the other 2 waited for their meals to be corrected. Positive, they apologized and tried to make it right. Our daughter loved the truffle butter and steak fries!

The only reason I am giving this a 2 star is because the staff was great. We ordered oysters which were the only good thing we ate. We both ordered the 16oz ribeye medium rare. When we got our steaks they were burnt black on one side and raw on the other. When we cut it open it was purple. We watched the waitresses haul back a few steaks from unsatisfied customers. We ate what we could and left. I personally do not recommend this place to anyone.

Prime rib and salmon both very good, as usual. Service attentive, friendly, never overbearing. Best aspect is the atmosphere-- quiet, classy -- an excellent date or special occasion restaurant.

I had the bone in rib-eye rare with broccolini and a mixed greens salad for my appetizer my friends had a new York strip and the lamb lollipops which they had as a special. From start to finish the service and food were OUTSTANDING! A huge thanks to Corey, Ashley, Keesei and the entire kitchen staff for a great and memorable evening. I’m glad we experienced Sonny’s. Thanks!

The food, the service and everyone working there was outstanding!! The appetizers, entrees and sides were exceptionally well prepared. Moreover, they went out of their way to make sure our family felt incredibly welcome, as though they had known us for years. We will certainly be there as much as we can before heading back home. If debating whether to visit, there is no doubt in our mind you will be delighted!

Wonderful dinner on Easter. The champagne was cold and the seafood special was delicious. It was a lovely mix of scallops, mussels and squid in a light tomato sauce. The lamb lollipops were cooked perfectly and they had a nice char.Service was impeccable as always.

Visiting Ft. Collins from nyc. Dinner with our transplanted son. Picked a steakhouse from reviews. Great dinner. Shared the boned in rib eye with lots of sides and salad. Great service, great steak, cooked perfectly, old school decor with tv in the bar. Don’t be put off by the “basement “ location, Steak houses shouldn’t have windows!

In a town where actual good food is basically non existent, Sonny Lubick's did not dissapoint. Even though the menu selections are extremely dated (think early 2000's American steakhouse/grill), they were very well executed. The service was fantastic and the ambiance was relaxed and not stuffy at all. We will definitely be back. This is the first good meal I've had in Fort Collins in years. Don't know why we waited so long to try it. Thanks!

We don’t go out to dinner often but have always enjoyed our experiences here. This time was very disappointing. We ordered oysters Rockefeller. I don’t like raw oysters but love Rockefeller! They came out and were raw! We didn’t say anything and we should have! I ordered French Onion soup without the crouton. Our waitress asked me to check it before she left our table and sure enough it had a crouton. She took it back and brought me a new cup of soup that was done correctly. It was warm but definitely not hot like soup should be. For my main course I ordered the filet wrapped in bacon. Medium rare. It came out cold, and darn near raw! No juices flowing at all as it was too cold. It was sent back. We were told the manager would bring my steak back to me. She didn’t, but did stop by to see if it was ok. No apologies, just asked if everything was ok now. It was cooked perfectly The second time and was tender and delicious. My husband got the ribeye and though it was cooked perfectly it was a bit tough. Overall not a good experience for the price!!! I was so looking forward to dinner and was so disappointed. Not sure I’ll be able to get my spouse back there!

The food was second rate across the board. Oysters Rockefeller were horrible and need to be dropped from the menu. The vegetables were overdone and the tenderloin was average at best. Our first time here, and for a special wedding anniversary too. Seems like Sonny already retired from the restaurant business based on our impression.

Our wait staff was wonderful, Gregg and Miles! The food was good. As far as value for the food, it was on par with other restaurants in the area, did not surpass, but was good. The ambiance was nice! The noise level was moderate. Overall, we had a very nice experience and would recommend for a nice evening out!

One of the busiest evenings of the year due to promotion in support of Larimer County Foodbank. never felt rushed or demeaned for taking advantage of special discounted prix fixe offerings.
