Excellent food and service, overall a good experience.

Great experience! Our waiter Jordan treated us with great customer service. The food was amazing from the our appetizers entrees to our tasteful deserts. Bottomless mimosas were tasty as well. Would definitely recommend and be back soon.

Son Cubano is a very beautiful restaurant..that is the best thing about it. My $40 steak was burnt, my rice was dry and my boyfriends plate was also not the best. The waiter barely came to our table, to the point that we had to get up, and grab the pitcher from the bar in order to serve ourselves water. My anniversary dinner was ruined due to this experience, very disappointed.

We loved the place so so much. I would recommend to everyone. The food was fantastic (empanadas and braised beef with harvest veggies). The passion fruit vodka spritzer drink was unbelievable. If you are in NYC or NJ, you should definitely take a trip. Whether you’re with a group or a romantic night out for two. Planning to go back very soon.

The food was delicious! The gentlemen Manny was very nice to us and checked on us to see if everything was going well. Everyone is professional and the ambiance is beautiful. It was a wonderful night out!

Very friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful view and the food was excellent.

We were rushed to seat at our table because they had to close by 10 pm, then we waited for 20 min for a waiter to come get our order.

To begin the young women at the front were not welcoming and appeared to have an attitude. The food was not good and overpriced. I must say our waiter was very nice and polite. The best thing was the view.

Always a good time, even in COVID-19 restrictions, the tables were spread apart, good looking crowd and great service. The food is still impeccable making for a great experience during challenging times.

Best Cuban food, till this day I still reminisce about the food I had. The restaurant is beautiful and so are the people. I will definitely be going back and not just for my birthday !

Great service and cuisine! The atmosphere is great, coupled with the skyline views of NYC. I'd definitely recommend it for a great family and/or date night out!

Great ambience and service. Live music was terrific. Good wine list. Appetizers - camarones and tuna sushi tacos were OUTSTANDING. Salmon was very good. Couldnt give 5 stars because the pork loin was over-salted and the spinach and mushroom side was just a mush.
Give it a try and just ask them to go a little lightly on the salt.

Everything in this place is superb! From the food omg the food, the great service, the look of the restaurant, the cleanliness and even the amazing lady in the women’s bathroom with her energetic music, can make your day. Absolutely, our favorite place to eat!

I reserved a date night table for 2 and I must say, we received the best service. The compliment dish from the chef was excellent, the complimentary champagne was tasty and the ambiance, live music and service was spectacular. I had the best time with my dinner date from Michigan (btw) and to top off the night, walking the boardwalk was absolutely perfect! I’m so glad we were able to celebrate our time together at Son Cubano! Don’t just take my word for it, try it out for yourself!

The restaurant was beautiful and clean. There was a good distance between tables. The restroom was spotless and the staff was friendly. As for the food it was spectacular from appetizer to desert. Can't wait to go back. Thank you Son Cubano

The phone and drinks were amazing. The entire staff was attentive and made us feel welcomed.

I went there for my birthday dinner with a party of 7 and the host was incredibly rude. Even if my full party was present, I was asked to wait outside in the 20 degree weather because inside was filled to capacity. And I actually showed up on time!!! It was 5 mins before my reservation. I waited outside in the freezing cold for almost an hour and they didn’t even bother come get me, if I hadn’t insisted upon coming inside. When we were finally seated, our food was super late. The waiter never bothered checking up on us, or asking us if we wanted water or anything. We kept getting dirty looks from the hostess. People who came after us got their food before us. It was a horrible experience. I did not enjoy my birthday because of this! I will never ever go back there. I will go to Zona de Cuba in New York instead, the experience and food there was 5 stars. Son Cubano needs to take notes from them because they are incredibly horrible. Never ever going back!

I had the skirt steak, medium well and it was delicious. Still thinking about it today. For appetizers I had the lobster tacos which were amazing, the grilled purpo, also very good and the camarones aguillo, those were missing some flavor. I love shrimp and want happy with it. The drinks were pretty good. Over all I would go again.

Cuban food should not be that expensive. The ceviche was Okey. The Salmon was too cooked. The best was the Palomilla.
I would recommend Son Cubano as an elegant place with a good view....and maybe for Lunch.
