Food, ambience and service at Solstice are great! There was some confusion about who was serving us, which was a little awkward. Otherwise lovely evening! Thank you! We will be back.

Even when staying downtown in Columbia, It's worth the trip. Great food. Great wines. Best steak in SC. Go there and enjoy!

We have been here 100+ times, so it is obviously a favorite. Tonight, service was incredibly slow. No explanation from the waitress. We were there with our daughter and son-in-law, so just had lively conversation and endured. Had my husband & I been there alone, we would have complained about the extremely long time it took to get our entrees. Not what we have been accustomed to at Solstice. Also, my food was lukewarm. Don’t know what happened tonight, but it was not up to the excellence we have come to expect.

We had a delicious celebration dinner! So many unique menu choices it was hard to pick. From the fried green tomatoes; the warm bread; the fish specials, to the desserts - - everything was amazing. This was our second time there, and we can't wait to go back.

Booked a reservation on a Friday night at 9:15 just before our movie at Sandhills. We were greeted and immediately seated. Josh, our server, was eager and attentive our entire dinner. We started with the fried green tomatoes - they dress them with their pimento cheese (DELICIOUS and highly recommended). My husband ordered their porkchop under the Winter/Spring menu. Delicious sauce and the pimento cheese made a second appearance as a topping. I had the Salmon and I ate almost every single bite. It comes with what I believe was fried noodles but I found myself scooting them away to get to the salmon. The mac and cheese is heaven. The collard greens lacked seasoning, it seemed. Good location (12 minutes to Village at Sandhill), Josh was great, management was professional and checked in with every table. OH! Try their caramel pecan fudge cake - AMAZING ending to a gorgeous date.

We had a corner table that was perfect for a romantic dinner date. The food was excellent and the service was attentive without being intrusive. I was having such a wonderful time that I didn’t want to leave! Would definitely come back again!

This is a really nice place to dine. The room is big and open, so can be a bit loud, but not over the top. They do a really nice job with the food. Interesting menu, good combinations, well prepared and presented. Only small downside is because they are so busy, you wait a while for your wine. We have dined here three times now and have had to wait a bit too long each time for wine. Once we have wine and maybe a piece of bread on the table, we are happy to be patient on ordering and receiving dinner. Don't let this small thing detour you from an otherwise pleasant and tasty experience.

Just a Phenomenal meal. So enjoyed the service and meal options that are available. While we were not served out chef circe, it was not missed as we had plenty to fill our taste buds. The soft shell crabs are as good if not better than any restaurant on the coast of South Carolina. Such a great atmosphere for a date/dinner!

The service level has declined. Our waiter arrived at the table and said ‘Can I get ya something to drink?’ There was no ‘Good evening, my name is xyz and I will be your waiter this evening’. After we placed our order for cocktails we were then asked for food orders. There was no ‘let me go over tonight’s specials’ or ‘would you like to order a wine?’ It was more an experience I have at Outback, not Columbia’s finest restaurant.

Please retrain the waitstaff on fine dining etiquette w your customers. It would be nice if the waiter offered to make suggestions rather than ‘what’s your order?’

Most perfectly seasoned beef patty we’ve ever had. Fish was perfectly cooked. Patio is fairly bare bones, could use some greenery. Super clean bathrooms. Servers were a bit aggressive, we were asked if we were ready to order 3 times by 2 different servers.
