Solstice Kitchen Ratings and Reviews
Good food, ambiance and service. I grew up with pork having to be well done, so the pink-in-the-middle chop left me unimpressed, but the outer portion was very tasty. The green beans and mashed potatoes were excellent.
This is not the fault of the restaurant, but people bringing their babies to a nice restaurant after 8:00 need to keep them quiet or leave them home!
We always love Solstice! The food and service are always exceptional. This was a very last minute decision to go to dinner there and it worked out perfectly for us to sit in a corner table by the bar. We each had red drum as an entree and had 2 different appetizers that were also specials for the evening. We enjoyed everything!
My husband and I go to Solstice a few times per year for special occasions. It is always wonderful! We had the crab cake appetizer then our waiter suggested the duck special to my husband which was wonderful! I always stick to a steak of some sort which never disappoints. Top notch service, wine, and food!
Was passing through on our way to Atlanta, and by happenstance ended up here - GREAT LUCK! Quick service, quiet, snuggly atmosphere, and wonderful food. Made a meal out of several appetizers. They have an extensive drinks menu, was impressed. Would recommend to everyone.
The food is always great, but it took over an hour to get our entree. Overall a good experience with great food. I don’t mind spending quality time with my wife, but it would be nice for the server to let you know if the kitchen is taking a little longer than usual. Thankfully we had no other plans outside of enjoying each other’s company that evening.
All was great and we will be back soon! My fish was perfectly cooked and wonderful. We also loved the chef's little treat of chicken pot pie...if we knew when that was on the menu we would be there to order it! Also thought our server Brittany was terrific.
In town for parents weekend and Columbia was very busy. This restaurant was worth the 20 minute drive out of downtown. Great atmosphere and food. Service outstanding! We all had different entrees - fried chicken, filet mignon, salmon and short ribs, and everything was delicious.
Great food, great service. The free little appetizer (delish!) from the chef was a real treat. Busy Friday night but we were seated right away (with our reservation). Friendly service, timing was right, food was wonderful, large portions. Highly recommended.
Met a friend for lunch after a year so we had a lot to catch up on. The server was very patient and did not rush us at all. She checked back every so often to see if we were ready to order. The food was excellent, very reasonable, and the atmosphere was extremely pleasant. I would definitely go there again.
