An overall excellent dining experience! The fried green tomatoes appetizer was delicious, and the short ribs were the absolute best I've ever had. I would definitely recommend Solstice Kitchen.

Came for an early Valentine's Day dinner and everything from the atmosphere to the service to the food were spectacular. The food was a bit expensive, but the value was exceptional.

Wonderful experience!! The server went to extra steps to make my wife's birthday and Valentine's special. This will be our " place " for special occasions and guests from out of this region!
Thank you

We were in the area to celebrate our babymoon. We wanted a special date night, and Solstice delivered! Everything was delicious from our fried green tomatoes appetizer to our entrees to the delicious desserts! The chef even sent out a tasty little sample to all the guests of a new item he was working on. My husband also loved the particular Zinfandel that our server picked out to go with his food. Would definitely recommend, and we’d love to return!

Tables we so close together you could hear everyone’s conversations. More like a cafeteria experience than fine dining. We chose your restaurant to celebrate our 40th anniversary. It is as certainly not an intimate evening. Not worth $130 for two.

Very cozy atmosphere, attentive staff and delicious cuisine. Made reservations online for my boyfriend's birthday, they called day of to confirm. We arrived 15 minutes early, they knew our names, immediately showed us to our table, which I had requested a quite, out of traffic, romantic if possible seating and they accommodated us nicely with a corner table with bench seating and pillows. Our server was very knowledgeable, friendly and checked in frequently. We began with the fried green tomatoes, spread with pimento cheese and sprinkled with I believe it was candied bacon served with a bed of greens which were divine. Perfectly sliced and crispy. I had the crab cakes which were delicately seasoned so as not to overpower the succulent, flaky crab and the yellow grits were smooth and creamy. He ordered the braised beef rib with parmesan and truffle potatoes that were crisped to perfection and it was juicy, flavorful and cooked to perfection. The kitchen sent us a complimentary tasting of their mushroom bisque which was one of the best dishes I have had in my life and paired perfectly with the semolina bread. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a date or nice evening out.

Food and service are always good. We were a party of five this time and we had been seated at a table for four which our waiter quickly corrected on a busy Saturday night!

We met some dear friends for dinner on Saturday night. The wine list was excellent. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. It's a fairly small room so the tables are packed in a little tight, and the noise level is a bit high, but the food and wine were both top notch.

Solstice is our favorite restaurant. The food, the service, Bar manager Blake, John, everyone working at this restaurant contributes to its success. When my brother and wife visit from San Francisco, this is where they want to eat. We in the NE Columbia are so extremely fortunate to have them but I would not hesitate to drive from as far as Lexington to eat here.

A little TOO dark. My eyesight is great even without glasses, but I had a terrible time reading the menu, but more importantly reading my check. I couldn't tell if it was $101 or $151. I was able to read the menu by holding over the tea candle on the table, but was afraid of starting a fire! The check was a real challenge.

Once again, outstanding food and service. We dine here frequently, as it is our favorite neighborhood restaurant. This time was for New Years Eve. Began with a a French Champagne accompanied with complementary smoked salmon tasting from the Chef. Then shared a appetizer of crispy fried oysters, one of our favorites. For entrees, we had the 12 hr slow braised beef short ribs and the mountain trout, accompanied with a Sonoma Cabernet and a Sonoma Chardonnay. All outstanding. For dessert, we shared a chocolate-caramel souffle which was delicious.

After hearing about Solstice for years from our adult children, we finally made it across town to this gem!
We were not disappointed! Amazing fresh cuisine, knowledgeable and accommodating staff, quiet and tasteful decor.
Our meals were great: fresh trout ( not farm raised) suchi grade tuna, filet mignon and boneless pork chops. However, even more amazing was the green apple crisp with caramel bourbon ice cream!
We shared 2 of these between the 4 of us and it was just the right amount and perfect ending to a delightful dining experience!
As we left we agreed-we will be back-soon!

Solstice is the best in Columbia. The specials are always interesting, the quality of the food is outstanding, and service is always attentive and professional. Reservations are a “must” due to the restaurants size, and for the same reason is sometimes a bit noisy.

My spouse and I went to Solstice, our favorite restaurant, to celebrate our anniversary. The menu is always different and features locally sourced products. As usual, we had a hard time deciding what to order, and as usual, our server was superb. Our selections (mussels for me, shrimp for her) were absolutely delicious.
