Welcome to Solo Trattoria!

Due to limited Capacity there will be a 2 hours limit per seating if needed. Also tables are assigned on a first come basis.

Located in the heart of Downtown Freehold Borough, we deliver a memorable dining experience. With a pleasant atmosphere and delicious unique dishes, yours will surely be a night to remember.

In the Fall of 2005, Piergiorgio Ceciarelli opened a restaurant with a goal - to serve the best food with the warmest service and atmosphere. Piergiorgio Ceciarelli has been a restaurateur for 30 years. He started in South Florida where he built a reputation for excellent food, warm and fun atmosphere, and genuine heartfelt service. Winning the award for Best Restaurant Owner 2001. Citi Link said…always has a warm smile when he greets you and a grateful thank you when he bids you Ciao& at the end of a meal. Originally from Rome, he has lived in California, Mexico, Florida, and now New Jersey, where he resides with his wife and children.

Another great dinner at Solo. We forgot our BYO at home but liquor store was only steps away from Solo to obtain our wine. On our waitress recommendation we had the crab cake special appetizer along with their delicious fried calamari and two fish special entrees. Both delicious! Food & service were excellent and price just over $100 without tip. Great value in today’s crazy prices…

My husband and I were meeting friends for lunch and wanted a restaurant that was convenient for us all. Solo had nearby free parking and was on a quiet street. Although we chose it because of its location, we all agreed it was a hidden gem! The atmosphere and food were fantastic, and the service was polite and attentive. We will go back again soon!

Great service; our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and made suggestions that turned out excellent. Food arrived timely, hot, and delicious. Large parties contributed to the very high noise level but our overall experience was awesome. Highly recommend Solo and we will definitely be back.

First time at this place. Came through a recommendation of co-worker. It’s a BYOB which I liked. The food was excellent with lots of choices and the apps were delicious. Give it a try!
