Solé Restaurant and Wine Bar is situated in a 150 year old Seagram’s building, minutes west of the Waterloo Uptown Core. The interior soars two stories high to a timber frame ceiling, exposed brick and generous wood finishes, set the tone for an elegant yet casual experience.

The menu will transport your palate to a bistro somewhere in Europe. Items ranging from fresh-baked pizzas, pastas, vegetarian entrées, steaks, and seafood will satisfy any appetite.     Incredible food and exceptional service! Today was our family's first visit as we celebrated Mother's Day, and it was a wonderful experience. The appetizers, main courses, and desserts were all rated 10/10. The service was outstanding as well.

    Had a fantastic Mother's Day brunch on the patio. The food and special Mother's day cocktail were very good. The service was excellent. We were given blankets in case we were chilly on the patio. Our waitress, Courtney was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend

    Sole was missing several finishing touches that would make it a great place to dine. It did not meet expectations of being a charcoal group restaurant. For example we waited with empty drinks for 20 min and eventually had to flag down our waitress to order. The bathroom garbage was overflowing with paper towel on the floor and the twine used on additional toilet paper rolls were also scattered about on the floor throughout the bathroom. The food was okay. When choosing to dine in the future I would pick Charcoal or Wildcraft and would not return to sole.

    The food was ok, not great….ok. Service was good, our server was attentive and accommodating. The restaurant was very loud. Overall I was disappointed, I had higher hopes.

    As always, a very happy experience! The service, food and knowledge of staff is exceptional. If there is any minor complaint, it would be areas of seating. Some spots can be very loud but the staff were very accommodating in placing us in seating more suited to our preferences! I leave telling myself to go more often and will keep it on my rotation list of best restaurants to enjoy!

    Easier to have a conversation near the back of the restaurant. Our purely vegetarian loved the food and quantities. Our seafood lovers enjoyed the pasta. Very pleasant server who did not impose on the conversation but added to enjoyment by suggesting the wine lover take a picture of the bottle to help make that selection in the future. We will book again

    Our server, Ryan, was a consummate professional from start to finish. The drinks were fancy, the app + mains were beautifully presented and dessert was topped with a birthday candle, befitting the occasion in a lovely adult manner.
