Solé Restaurant and Wine Bar is situated in a 150 year old Seagram’s building, minutes west of the Waterloo Uptown Core. The interior soars two stories high to a timber frame ceiling, exposed brick and generous wood finishes, set the tone for an elegant yet casual experience.

The menu will transport your palate to a bistro somewhere in Europe. Items ranging from fresh-baked pizzas, pastas, vegetarian entrées, steaks, and seafood will satisfy any appetite.     Our server, Ryan, was a consummate professional from start to finish. The drinks were fancy, the app + mains were beautifully presented and dessert was topped with a birthday candle, befitting the occasion in a lovely adult manner.

    We celebrated my niece’s birthday and had a really wonderful time. Dinner was delicious, service was amazing, overall a great experience for all of us! We had a party of nine and our servers Heidi & Calla were just wonderful!

    Sole was wonderful as always but I noted on making the reservation that it was my wife's birthday and yet nothing was said by waitstaff even after we noticed other diners were getting recognized... other than that food was tremendous.

    Delicious food again! They took my celiac seriously and we were able to eat safely. A bit loud as it seemed like everyone and their friend were celebrating a birthday. Overall, great and we will be back!

    We were there early afternoon so the place was quiet. The service was fantastic. Sydney was attentive, friendly and professional. We both had the sausage pizza and it was delicious. We look forward to a return visit when we can sit on the patio.

    We have visited Sole numerous times. Saturday night seemed much busier. Of special note: Our server was Heidi and we found her pleasant and positive even though she was extremely busy. She should be commended for her work ethic; especially under the pressures that she appeared to encounter that evening. Great job Heidi !!
