Sole Mio is a very consistent restaurant. The food is great and so is the service. It's an authentic family owned Italian restaurant and you'll often see the owner/chef greeting the guests at their tables. I highly recommend that you give it a try.
The food was amazing!! The service was what brought our experience down. We had a reservation at 5pm and the booths along the front windows were full (5/6 booths) and one other table aside from us that were finished with their meal were in the restaurant.
It took 15 minutes for our waitress to greet us & ask if we wanted anything to drink at that point we were ready to order. The food was great however the service never improved.
I was excited to try this restaurant for our anniversary but it was a disappointment with the service.
Great service and food!
New menu is awesome! Veal limoncello was fantastic! Muscles for an app is a must
We eat here a few times a year. Food is always good and quieter than a lot of restaurants in the area. Good for having a conversation. Never rushed out of there.
Good as always was wonderful. Great wine selection. Our server was very good and the chef greeted us and wished us a good evening and thanked us for coming.
DRINKS AND FOOD WERE TOP NOTCH (as always).
THE STAFF AND CHEF ANGELO ARE SO FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING. THEY TRULY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND. PHENOMENAL !!
Always amazing. The Tiramisu is the best in around.
My friends and I went to this restaurant for my birthday. We went on a Friday night and I had reserved our seats online before coming to make sure we had a table and didn't have to wait.
The ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and when we got our pasta, we eat got a different pasta dish, it was very good. The only thing I was disappointed with was the dessert, didn't care for the creme brulee, and our waitress was pretty slow. We ended up being at the restaurant for two hours because we were doing a lot of waiting around for her to come back to our table. I would come back to this restaurant because the food was good.
Sole Mio has a wide variety of choices and great gluten free options. I would recommend this to anyone with celiac, they understand the need for careful preparation to keep food safe for those with restrictions. Chef Angelo is always out and about greeting customers and ensuring things are as expected. Great food!!!
Had another great night at Sole Mio. Great food and great wine.
We had an excellent dining experience, and the food and wine was outstanding, as was our extremely helpful and friendly server, Cynthia. Highly recommended! We will be back soon@
Excellent as always! Great service, amazing food and nice wine all at a good price.
We made reservations and we were seated right away, no waiting, much appreciated! Our server, Linda, was very good and patient with us as we were not in a hurry. She was helpful in helping us make up our minds. The food was excellent and good sized potions. The Owner/chef Angelo was greeting many of the tables around us as usual, we like that, it shows he cares about your experience. We plan to stop back soon to try some of the appetizers, too much with dinner.
We have been there several times and always had good food and good service. Our dinner companions had never been there.
Our server seemed distracted and not very attentive.
Don’t believe she had too many tables, just seemed off.
Valentines Day
Food was fabulous as always, have been here many times and always great authentic Italian in comfortable environment
Food was great and our server was very pleasant and helpful.
Had a good time on Valentine’s Day. Not amazing, not terrible. We live about 20 miles away and won’t be making the drive back.
We were 30 mins early, but they seated us right away. The waiter was very nice and attentive. We didn't get the bread, so had to ask but they brought it right away. The bread was very good, but wish it was little warmer. Main food was very good! I had a seafood pasta and had plenty seafood in it. I would go back for another ocasion for sure.
Very good restaurant. All of the dishes are made from scratch.
We enjoyed our time at Sole Mio from the minute we walked in. The hostess was friendly. Our server was professional and still fun.
Absolutely fabulous meal. It was so easy making the reservation on Open Table. My first time using this option. I will for sure do both again sometime :)
Sole Mio remains one of our favorite restaurants. Wonderful food at a great value.
My wife and I dine at Sole Mio often. The food is always great, the prices are reasonable and sometimes we enjoy a conversation with Chef Angelo.
Celebrating mortgage payoff
I think Louise was our servers name & she’s the best we ever had there. Hostess stand was oblivious we were never welcomed because they focused on a couple with a future reservation request, even had the head chef out there. Our friends were already seated & ended up coming over to get us because we were standing there so long. The food is usually better than last night, I think it was an off night.
Staff were nice and courteous. We have previously experienced a poor behavior situation with the female owner/manager. Decided to try again because the food is outstanding.
Service was great. I had the seafood cannelloni and it was incredible. My wife had the gnocce and said she liked it, but not exceptional
Excellent service. Great food. Good selection. Wonderful ambiance.
Been here many times for dinner, lunch and happy hour. Everything is always fantastic. This is the only restaurant I know of where the Chef/Owner visits every table to make sure everything is perfect. Chef Angelo and his crew are the best!
For New Year's Eve we wanted to have good food options and Sole Mio did not disappoint. I had the Veal Limone and it was delicious.
Went to Sole Mio on New Year's Eve. The food was really good. Our daughter has Celiac so having gluten free options was big! It was busy but not overwhelmingly busy and we did not feel rushed at all. The Chef even came out to see how our meal was and to thank us. Classy!
Our wait person evidently came to work sick. She was having trouble hearing because of congestion. She was very good about checking for dairy ingredients when I made her aware of my allergy. I ordered the linguini with the shrimp added. It came without the shrimp. When I reminded her, she apologized, took my plate away, and then came and brought it back. As a consequence, my food was cold by the time the shrimp arrived. To top it off, I was charged for the shrimp. Most places would have comped my meal. This was New Years Eve dinner for my husband and I. Disappointing. Would definitely think twice before eating there again.
We felt like special guests when the executive chef came out to greet us and ask how our food was. Everyone was super friendly, wait staff was excellent and the food was delicious. Sole Mio is one of our favorite spots.
I would have given Sole Mio 5 stars, but we were pretty turned off by our server that night. She was a little rude and pushy. She seemed upset that my wife did not want to order alcohol and was really trying to push the specials of the night even though we said we were not interested. When we wanted refills on our water we had to track down a different server or the hostess, since our waitress was nowhere to be found. That being said, the food was fantastic and the chef hand delivered our food and was great to talk to (he even got my wife a refill on her coke, since we could not again find our waitress). We will definitely go again, but if we have the same server, we will kindly ask to be seated in a different section.
Absolutely delicious; the only down side was that the waitress made suggestions for the most expensive dishes and wine selections, even a bottle of the most expensive wine when others had theirs and I was looking for a glass for myself.
We had a good meal with very attentive service. It was my Mom's birthday, and she enjoyed every bit of it. No complaints. The food was good, but not GREAT, hence the 4 stars. But it was a good restaurant for a good and satisfying night out :)
I appreciate that they have made some changes to decrease noise level. So many restaurants seem to thrive on the loud and busy ambience where you cannot even converse in normal tones of voice. Food is great and staff are friendly.
We went to this restaurant because we were going to be in the area and read some good reviews. We arrived a few minutes earlier than our reservation and was able to get in right away. The place reminded me of a diner. Bright lights and employees rushing by looking like they were busy. The place was busy, but not overly and the hostess said that people were leaving sooner than they expected. When we sat down, we were greeted by our server who was nice enough, but not overly- didn't really smile much. She asked if we would like something to drink and did recommend a wine by the glass which turned out to be ok - good table wine. We passed on the bread and an appetizer and just ordered salads with our dinner. Our dinner came pretty quickly and before our salads came. We made a comment to each other that we didn't get our salads before our dinner came and that we were not going to want them. The server then came over with our salads and we were already eating our dinner. We said that they should have come before the dinner and that we were no longer going to eat them. She stood at our table holding the salads like she didn't know what to do, then asked us if we wanted them boxed up to bring home. I asked her if my salad was already dressed and she said yes. I said that it would be soggy if I brought it home and told her I didn't want it. She looked again like she didn't know what to do and just stood there, but then asked my husband if he wanted his boxed up. We felt bad and just said yes, I guess you can box it up. We shouldn't have because in the end we paid for a salad that we didn't eat later.
Would not go back and would not recommend.
