Soi Gow is a Thai noodle restaurant bringing you good cuisine from Thailand. It has a causal environment and a relaxing ambiance. Soi Gow takes reservations and is a good place to pop in at lunch hour. It is also a good place for kids as the staff is very caring and will cater to all your needs.
Some of the Soi Gow special include, Coconut soup, chicken spring rolls, massaman curry and Pad Himapan. Soi Gow is a good place to come with friends and family and have a nice Thai dining experience. Other popular items on the menu include dishes like Pineapple fried rice and Tom Yum Kai soup.
When our party arrived for our fully confirmed Thanksgiving Dinner, we found Soi Gow was completely dark! The owners obviously can't be bothered to keep OpenTable or their website up to date. The listed address (on both OT and the Internet) was even for a differently named restaurant, Sriracha. Since it appeared to serve the same type of cuisine, the owners probably changed the name without bothering to update anyone. Seriously?
Only slightly daunted, we went to Butterfly and still had a great dinner -- despite (as last-minute walk-ins) being seated strung out along the bar.
Great location if you are going to the De Young Museum - an easy walk. Very simply decor, but the food was quite good, especially the curry and calamari. I would definitely return if I were in the vicinity.
Affordable and good tasting Thai food in the heart of Inner Sunset.
Spacious venue and decor is typical of what you would find at any Thai restaurant. Friendly and attentive service throughout meal.
We ordered the typical Thai dishes Pad Thai, Panang Curry, Crab Fried Rice, etc..... all of which had great flavors and definitely filled the Thai cuisine void we were experiencing. The only setback is that the chicken was a bit dry but being in curry it was easy to mask. This place is cheaper than the other Thai establishments in this neighborhood.
Will be back for more.
We liked this place. Food was yummy. However there were two issues: 1)they do a booming delivery service and that seemed t result in slow service for the diners in the restaurant. 2)they should turn off the large screen travelog for Thailand; I don't need that when I'm having my meal.
