The only thing I wasn't a fan of was that they played country music the whole time. Not sure if that's a normal thing here or not.
Terrible service, ok food, and when complained about stale dessert - they responded by “we will dress it up more”...
All 3 of our meals were incredible and wonderfully creative. We'll definitely be back!

First time here and will be back. Met friends for dinner on NYE. Venue had a great feel. Casual yet refined, friendly service, excellent scallops, burger was one of the best. Drinks were on point. The only criticism was the fried prawns were over cooked and had to be sent back. Everything else was excellent and everyone at the table said they’d come there again and can’t wait to use the patio.
This was our 3rd visit, and overall the food, service, and ambiance continue to make this a very nice place to dine. I ordered the curried lentils, and while i felt the lentils were a little too firm for my tastes, the flavor of the dish was delicious. Others at our table enjoyed the pork chops and burger very much. Even though it was New Year's Eve, and they were busy, we appreciated that there was no pressure from anyone for us to leave as soon as we were done eating -- we enjoyed lingering over discussion and drinks while waiting for the new year.
Great food and service was not rushed! Easy seating for 6. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy the patio when the weather is warmer!
Only issue was having salad and entree served at same time. Should have had salad first and been given time to eat first course, first

This was my first time here but it will not be the last. There were 4 of my gal pals and everyone was happy with their choices. The pork chop was delicious. We tried all tje desserts and 2 appetizers, everything was great.
My Aunt and I had a wonderful meal. We split the heirloom salad and the Mac and Cheese (bacon and smoked Gouda) ...need I say more . We will definitely be back.
As a first impression, not too much change between SoDo and this restaurant, but it seems less welcoming as a dining room (a bit of color would go a long way). Very friendly, knowledgable and attentive staff. The trout as a mains was wonderful, with nicely done pieces of semi-exotic vegetables. The dessert was every bit built for two people. We really need to try this place for lunch...
This restaurant, formerly SoDo, is under new ownership, with a new approach to food. I was a little skeptical because we loved the former so much. Let me just say that they've kept the best of what they had, including key staff, and have expanded the menu in interesting ways. The food that we had was creative and flat delicious. We'll be back.

Great dining experience. Casual atmosphere, but elegant dining. Menu diversity, food quality, great preparation, terrific presentation, atmosphere - everything was better than expected, and expectations were high. A must for dining in Reno / Tahoe area.
I was initially bummed to find out that SoDo was no longer; but I had such a good experience that I forgot to ask why. I originally chose this location as SoDo was the perfect place for a date. Candle lite, fancy tablecloths and plate settings, and a mellow glow.
I really liked the vibe of the new restaurant, felt like I was in Los Gatos. Great menu in design and consumable options. The Mac N Cheese was decadent, and the lemon cake was LIT!
My water was never empty, Thanks to Steve; whom I have been served by at multiple restaurants in the past. He also only charged me .06 cents for my meal; which I regrettably notified him of instead of signing the receipt. Haha
Overall a wonderful experience for a first date, and you guys helped me get a second. So thanks.
The menu has been cut down since it changed names. Not so much a fan anymore.

This was our first time trying Washoe Public House under its new name/owners, and we were not disappointed. The service was quick, attentive, and friendly, and the menu is diverse and accommodated my vegetarian preferences while also offering things to please those who are meat-eaters. I must recommend the Irish Nachos... it seemed clear to us that the potatoes were local and hand-cut, because they seemed VERY fresh and especially flavorful -- a worthwhile indulgence. The decor is clean and modern, but not cold or unfriendly. We especially liked the warm wooden tabletops. My only quibble is that we were seated under a blowing vent, so we were a bit chilly, but we got over it. We will definitely return!
