Brunch on a Saturday. Not too busy.
Bottomless Mimosas, Avocado Toast and Southern Style egg Benedict.
Everything was delicious.
We waited over an hour after we ordered our food which was really disappointed
The amount of food you get, compared to the cost is not very good. The steak was overcooked, especially for $52(supposed to be the days special)! $10 for 4 oysters and pretty slow service from the time the food was ordered, to receiving the food. Waitress did a good job but overall not a good overall experience!
Fit for foodies
Loved every bite and then some!!!!!!
Great. Service and food were perfect.
The overall experience was great. The food was amazing. If you go it's a must you try the chicken and dumplings as an appetizer. The fresh catch was seasoned to perfection and the scallops were very tasty. I would definitely recommend them for any occasion.
The server was not available to fix an issue. The food came out late and the server did not offer and compensation for the inconvenience. The inside was a little small and tight sitting space by the bar. Food was great but horrible service. I would probably consider going back in the future but would like a different sever.
Great twists on old favorites for Brunch. Food was superb. Bottomless Mimosas! Excellent service and just a great brunch experience.
Wonderful dinner, with great melding of flavors and attractive plating. However, it was the first time we ate inside and it was distracting to hear the door bang each time a server went in and out to the patio area.
Will definitely dine here again but will ask for seating outside.
Great environment, attentive server, good food! Would recommend
The staff at Soco are extremely considerate in going out of their way to helping us out when we had our little pet dog inside his carrier and another time when we had a 2-year old with us. It's always a handful bringing them as there were no other options. It normally becomes a bit stressful but but the staff at Soco surprised us by helping out and that made the night just so much more enjoyable. The food is creatively delicious and the service is outstanding! Thank you!
Amazing flavors from Chef Ritchie authentic low country cuisine with multiple modern accents. A Bourbon list second to none. A well priced and selected wine list...Precise and warm service makes for a long awaited dining experience yearning for a repeat visit soon !
Outstanding! Awesome hospitality, exceptional food!
We had a nice dinner at Soco before heading to a party downtown. We rarely eat at downtown restaurants, but Soco did not disappoint. As a side, I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts. If you're there on a Saturday evening, order the pot pit special--it's delicious. If you're a bourbon fan, they have a good (and reasonably-priced--with the obvious outliers) list.
The food was very good and we had great service. I do feel that the main entrée was priced fairly. The side dishes were way over priced at $7 for a side. We ordered the grilled meatloaf over lobster mashed potatoes which was great, and priced at $25 which was fair. The side of fried green tomatoes for $7 was to much for 4 slices and $7 for bowl of roasted Brussel sprouts was over priced at $7. We also ordered the deviled egg appetizer and got 4 egg halves that cost $5 and the deviled eggs were not worth ordering, they did not have much flavor and I would not get them again. I would consider eating there again although I would not order the over prized sides.
Went for the first time. Food was outstanding. Marcy was our server and she went out of her way to meet our extra requests as we are allergic to certain spices. etc. The atmosphere was great and music was great. The manager came over and checked on us and he was very knowledgable about the menu. The chef was great. We own a motorhome and eat at the finest restaurants all around the USA and this was on the top of the list
My friend and I went to Soco as she is from out of town and wanted Shrimp and Grits. We arrived a little after 3 but it wasn’t clear on the website that there would be a very limited menu between 3 and 4 and that the only main dish available at the time was a burger. My friend ordered the aforementioned burger which she said was really good and she enjoyed her Spicy Margarita. Our server recommended the Chicken and Dumplings small plate which was AMAZING! I also got a wedge salad which I enjoyed. The Manhattanish cocktail was tasty as well. It was the end of brunch and we were sitting at a high top in the bar so it was quite loud. While we ultimately enjoyed our meal, had we known about the limited menu we would have adjusted our arrival to enjoy a fuller menu. Definitely will return!
Food was amazing, staff was attentive and the design and layout was awesome. Wish we lived in the neighborhood to make this our regular spot
I love the unique menu. I like the outdoor seating and wish there was more. Wish they had more specialty drinks. One of the popular drinks was missing main ingredient when I was there. Overall love the place.
The food and service was amazing. Be sure to try the weekend brunch !
Incredible as always!
Outstanding patio / great service / wonderful meal
Very good food. Service was a little slow, but it was during brunch time, so that’s to be expected!
Favorite brunch spot. Shoutout to Josh and Alyssa
Two of us had the special pot pie made with lamb and roasted veggies. It was excellent. Server was very good too.
Food was delicious. Our server was super friendly but it took forever to finally get our entrees.
It took 1.5 hours to get our food. We were told that there was a large party ahead of us, but that is still unacceptable.
We sat outside during brunch on a Saturday and it was nice. The street wasn't too busy and the other patrons weren't loud. It took a while for our waitress to see us but once we ordered, the food came at a reasonable time.
I ordered the chicken and french toast which was good. I would've preferred the chicken seasoned more and them not to pour syrup all over my food but it was still good and just enough to finish the whole plate.
My husband had the shrimp and grits and he said they were good, nothing special. We also had the unlimited mimosa's which we definitely enjoyed them bringing our own sparkling wine bottles :)
Overall was a good experience and we would go back.
Took a long weekend with my son to visit the Orlando area. This was a great local experience off the theme park trail.
Everything was perfect. The host team was able to accommodate an extra person to the reservation last minute in exchange to move to the patio. It worked very well in our favor because it was overwhelmingly crowded inside.
We have been enjoying Chef Craig and the SoCo dining experience since it opened. Unique twists on foods; great ingredients. The Brussels sprouts will make doubters, believe. Never have had a poor experience.
Perfect everything! Every single thing brought to the table was amazing. Sauces and dressings are perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. Will be dining here often!
The restaurant was quit nice and we were seated next to the window for the kitchen which was interesting. We went on half price wine night so that was a plus. We started with the deviled eggs which were ok but I am a deviled egg lover. The wedge salad was very good and my wife had the fried chicken which was incredibly moist and flavorful. I can’t recall what I ate but it was good. Overall it was Avery pleasant experience and the server was quit enjoyable.
First time but we will be back soon. My wife booked reservations for the following weekend upon arrival of our food. Great place great food
I always enjoy the food when I go to SOCO this time was no different. This is a great spot to visit for Sunday Brunch!
Celebrating a promotion
We were not informed of the 2 hour table limit. Several of us gather together to catch up once a month. This month we sadly picked here. Upon delivery of our food we were informed there was a 2 hour table limit and we had 15 minutes to eat our food and leave. Seriously, excuse me what??
Unbelievable how the manger, first of all hid behind the server and would not talk to us directly. Then when he finally did stop by after we asked for him again, we let him know at no time, upon reservation, confirmation of reservation, or upon being seated were we informed of the time limit. Even after letting him know that were not informed of the table limit time until food was delivered, he just didn't care.
No matter how good the food is there, neither I nor any of our party, ever step foot in this place again.
How this was handled was beyond unprofessional. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to gather with family and friends for a meal to not support SOCO in Thornton Park.
Love this place! Love Josh and Lia (don’t know if I’m spelling that correctly) they’re my fave lol
Whole place is just 100/10
Cool vibe and good food. Was visiting and lucked upon the place. Would definitely return.
