Two of us had the special pot pie made with lamb and roasted veggies. It was excellent. Server was very good too.
Food was delicious. Our server was super friendly but it took forever to finally get our entrees.
It took 1.5 hours to get our food. We were told that there was a large party ahead of us, but that is still unacceptable.
We sat outside during brunch on a Saturday and it was nice. The street wasn't too busy and the other patrons weren't loud. It took a while for our waitress to see us but once we ordered, the food came at a reasonable time.
I ordered the chicken and french toast which was good. I would've preferred the chicken seasoned more and them not to pour syrup all over my food but it was still good and just enough to finish the whole plate.
My husband had the shrimp and grits and he said they were good, nothing special. We also had the unlimited mimosa's which we definitely enjoyed them bringing our own sparkling wine bottles :)
Overall was a good experience and we would go back.
Everything was perfect. The host team was able to accommodate an extra person to the reservation last minute in exchange to move to the patio. It worked very well in our favor because it was overwhelmingly crowded inside.
We have been enjoying Chef Craig and the SoCo dining experience since it opened. Unique twists on foods; great ingredients. The Brussels sprouts will make doubters, believe. Never have had a poor experience.
Perfect everything! Every single thing brought to the table was amazing. Sauces and dressings are perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. Will be dining here often!
The restaurant was quit nice and we were seated next to the window for the kitchen which was interesting. We went on half price wine night so that was a plus. We started with the deviled eggs which were ok but I am a deviled egg lover. The wedge salad was very good and my wife had the fried chicken which was incredibly moist and flavorful. I can’t recall what I ate but it was good. Overall it was Avery pleasant experience and the server was quit enjoyable.
First time but we will be back soon. My wife booked reservations for the following weekend upon arrival of our food. Great place great food
I always enjoy the food when I go to SOCO this time was no different. This is a great spot to visit for Sunday Brunch!
Celebrating a promotion
We were not informed of the 2 hour table limit. Several of us gather together to catch up once a month. This month we sadly picked here. Upon delivery of our food we were informed there was a 2 hour table limit and we had 15 minutes to eat our food and leave. Seriously, excuse me what??
Unbelievable how the manger, first of all hid behind the server and would not talk to us directly. Then when he finally did stop by after we asked for him again, we let him know at no time, upon reservation, confirmation of reservation, or upon being seated were we informed of the time limit. Even after letting him know that were not informed of the table limit time until food was delivered, he just didn't care.
No matter how good the food is there, neither I nor any of our party, ever step foot in this place again.
How this was handled was beyond unprofessional. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to gather with family and friends for a meal to not support SOCO in Thornton Park.
Love this place! Love Josh and Lia (don’t know if I’m spelling that correctly) they’re my fave lol
Whole place is just 100/10
Cool vibe and good food. Was visiting and lucked upon the place. Would definitely return.
Had an amazing birthday dinner with friends. Jefferson was an amazing server and we loved all the drinks and food that we ordered!
We were able to get into Soco on a busy Saturday night in Downtown Orlando. The staff couldn't have been more engaged and the food was, as always, exceptional. This is the sort of place that locals can really get into.
Overall, enjoyed it. Food was tasty, but pricey for what you get. Drinks were very good. Restaurant was crowded, loud, and busy.
I come here for bday brunches, I love the food, the bottomless mimosas, and that they bring the bottle to the table. I always order the eggs Benedict and now so do my friends. I’m not a biscuit fan but I love the biscuits at Soco! This place is simple, tasty, aesthetically inviting, and does not disappoint. It’s your grown up brunch at a classy southern table. You’ll definitely come back for more!
We went to SOCO as part of our last night in Orlando for a short trip. This meal was the spectacular end to a great visit. From the cocktails, to the wings, all the way to dessert - was one of the best meals we’ve ever had.
Great food and excellent service! My date has some dietary restrictions and the server, Marci was very helpful and attentive to her needs. We had a ribeye steak with roasted Brussels sprouts, crispy oysters, pork belly appetizer, and wedge salad. The menu was so exciting I can’t wait to come back and try even more of the specialty foods. For dessert we had the homemade ice cream and the chocolate pecan pie with French pressed coffee. This is my new favorite restaurant In Orlando!
Enjoyed the salads pizza and wine! Cute place. Better when the state opens up and easier to make a reservation.
I love coming here! The food is always amazing and the atmosphere is great!
Great food and service! Drinks were great too! I would go back.
Food was delicious. We were at a table of 4 and everyone's dishes looked great. I love the wedge salad with the pork belly and the chicken and dumplings were fabulous. Have to like mushrooms though. Out table ordered the meatloaf, ribeye, flounder and the shrimp and grits. We plan on going back soon.
We have been trying for awhile to get brunch at SOCO. We are more of at the moment type of people but we made a reservation a few weeks in advance expecting the food to fall short of the hype. We were wrong. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Definitely coming back!
Food was delicious but wish the establishment was more covid conscious. We sat outside, and while I understand space is limited, the tables were not 6 ft apart and patrons not spaced out appropriately.
High fives around. We truly enjoyed everything we ordered. It definitely reflects a focused chef at the helm. Great flavors and well executed dishes. We had the "Chicken n Dumplins" , Korean Fried Chicken and Wedge Salad, finished it off with some fresh breaded Okra. A well executed salad speaks volumes and honestly are rarely found in 99% of all restaurants. Kudos for seasoning, thought of ease to eat, balanced ingredients and just well executed.
Unique menu from a locally owned/operated/managed neighborhood restaurant. Devilled eggs are spectacular. My swordfish was perfect. Roasted Brussels sprouts definitely worth the order.
The bourbon selection and dining menu were fantastic! The staff was completely welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend a stop here.
The four of us had four different entrees. All were very good. The one disappointment was the fried green tomatoes. We ordered two orders. They were just too thin and chewy. Our server was great. She worked her butt off outside but provided great service anyway.
The worst restaurant in orlando overvalued you will be seated on a corner with no view no light and 0 ambiance ... do nothing waste your money and time in this restaurant please
We enjoyed a lovely Sunday evening dinner at Soco with its trademark Southern cuisine, comfortable surroundings and great hospitality. Everything we ordered was delicious, but I would say the shrimp and grits and the banana pudding are not to be missed!
Had a great time at Soco. Food was delicious, bottomless mimosas were truly bottomless (tasted great), and ambiance was chill. Would definitely come back here when in Orlando again.
Genie was an amazing waitress! The food was amazing.
Excellent food. Chef is amazing. Not a bad item on menu. Highly recommended.
Our son was in town and is a chef for a farm to table restaurant/farm and we thought he would enjoy your restaurant. It was a nice surprise that we found out the Juniper Rice you serve is from his farm! ❤️ Congaree and Penn in Jacksonville.
The food was excellent and could have been the highlight of the meal but the service was some of the best I’ve gotten anywhere. We were the last customers there but treated as if they just opened. Try the lobster mashed potatoes and their Mac and cheese, best I’ve ever had.
Very amazing service!
