Soby’s New South Cuisine is an eclectic blend of contemporary continental cuisine infused with traditional Southern ingredients, transforming old favorites into something fresh and new. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Greenville, in a renovated cotton mill built in the 1800s. The atmosphere is warm and energetic and the staff is well-trained to provide a fantastic dining experience for all of our guests. In addition, the wine list offers more than 500 selections and is a Wine Spectator Magazine award-winner for the past eight years, a 'Best of Award of Excellence' the past two.

My wife, twin daughters and I went on a family "date" to Soby's, because we love the food and downtown location. Our meals were delicious, and our server was very helpful and energetic. We plan to return for another family "date" this summer. Soby's is one of the best restaurants in Greenville, and part of the Table 301 group.

i first visited Soby's in Fall 2016 and was so impressed that I told my wife we would include another visit in our annual trek to the Outer Banks of NC. The atmosphere, service, and food were outstanding. Our server, Jennifer, was personable and made some great recommendations. We'll be back the next time we travel through Greenville!

Food was very good- our table ordered the short ribs, salmon, crab cakes and shrimp and grits. All were very good. The short rib was a huge portion and the crab cakes hefty. The collard greens were outstanding. In contrast, the Key lime pie was average. Our server failed to tell us about the nightly feature-we assumed there was not a feature until we overheard another server offer it to an adjoining table.

We were giving Soby's another chance after an unfortunate Thanksgiving Buffet experience. This time we had a great experience. My husband loved his Brussel sprouts with country ham and his crabcakes. My shrimp and grits were excellent. The strawberry salad was delicious.

My only service complaint is that we could have used clean flatware between courses.

Classic Sunday brunch. Peak time between 1000 and 1200. Much easier to get in between 1200 and 1230. Picks up again after that.

Brunch was great as usual! Jason, the new waiter, was outstanding on his first day! Give him raise please!

We had the spectacular Sunday Brunch at Soby's before going to see Lion King at the Peace Center. This restaurant is the perfect choice for theatre goers as it is right across the street and so very convenient. Our meal was delicious and we all enjoyed the $3.01 mimosas and bloody Mary's. The wait staff could not have been nicer or more attentive! We will make this a regular stop when going to the Peace Center!!
