Would have been 5 Stars if OpenTable didn’t have to contact us (again) that Soby’s showed we did not attend our reservation
Our experience was exceptional. Mike was a great and very knowledgeable server and helped us make great selections. The fried chicken and braised short ribs were excellent. The only issue was the Carolina bog was not boggy enough as the rice was too fluffy. The short ribs were accompanied by baked beans, slaw and cornbread madeleines which made the whole dish " lip smacking slap yo Momma good"! I literally sopped up every bit of the meal.
Soby's is now own my list for every trip to Greenville! J Ned
Evertthing was perfect
Great food in the heart of beautiful downtown Greenville.
Great for date night. Expensive but you get what you pay for
1st…the service was outstanding! Tyson was very helpful, attentive, accommodating, and just a great friendly server!! 2nd…The food was excellent! The Old Fashioned was exceptional. When in town this will be a “go to” spot!!
I had terrible service no sooner than we ordered salads they appeared. Then after the salad within minutes my entrée's came out. So we were finished in 40 minutes with the rush act. The waitress did not know how to stagger the meal. It was not a relaxing meal and I will not return. There are too many other restaurants to chose from.
Disappointed too pricey over quality of food not great.
Service and food were wonderful
All dishes for our party of 4 were excellent and a good value. Servers were very professional and experienced.
Enjoyed the food and sitting outside. Service was excellent!
I’ve always liked this restaurant. But my girlfriends dinner was definitely mediocre. Especially for the money. Halibut and beans. She said they tasted like canned beans with very little flavor. My pork was on the verge of being dry. I wonder if the kitchen has become too comfortable knowing they will always have customers. This is a bummer, because in the past we have always had good food.
Wonderful food and place to meet friends for an event or a quiet visit. I have been coming here for years . It never disappoints. Amanda and Soup did an amazing job.I cannot wait to come back !
One of our favorite restaurants. Excellent service and food.
We had a wonderful experience
We love Soby's, usually our first choice whenever we are celebrating something. The food is always great and the staff are so friendly.
All steaks were burnt and over cooked.
Service was great , Brian was our server
We had a reservation and were seated at the specified time. The service was outstanding and the service was great.
It was our 39th Wedding anniversary and I noted that on reservation but nobody mentioned it at the restaurant which usually gets a mention if you note it when making reservation
Food and service were very good
Menu on Open Table was not updated and some items missing on menu at Soby’s
Our table was upstairs overlooking the kitchen but was very cold due to fans
Moved and was slightly better
Overall very good though
Loved it. Great southern food at a good price. Would recommend
Great brunch..301 drinks made it much more affordable
Enjoyed sharing Soby's delights with some friends from our of town. Superb!
The food was delicious, the short ribs fell apart, the were tender and very moist. The filet was done perfect and very flavorful. Make sure to save room for the banana cream pie. The wait staff was attentive and so friendly and helpful. We’d go back in a heartbeat.
Always enjoy the food and ambiance. So much flavor!
The staff the food the ambiance oh my I just love the southern curated delicacies they whip up there. A must there!
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Soby’s . The food was excellent and the service was amazing! We dined outside and loved people watching and enjoying the city of Greenville.
As always, the best dining experience in Greenville.
We enjoyed our dinners very much, especially the calamari. It was the best we've had in many years, very tender.
We both had the pork tenderloin. It was cooked nicely. However, I wasn't a fan of the sauce. I don't think it really added anything. But overall, it was very good and your restaurant enjoyable. Next time we come to Greenville, we will come again.
Excellent food. Interesting items on the menu. We'll be back!
A regular stop to bring friends and family. We had four great meals and appetizers. Our server was great: helpful, attentive. Will continue to return.
We visited Soby's for my birthday dinner with friends. I thought since it was a Monday night it would be quiet and not busy. Wrong! We ordered drinks which were slow to arrive. After bringing the drinks our waitress came to take our order and was very pleasant. I ordered a salad and my friend some soup before our meals. We had only had our drinks for a few minutes when the salad and soup appeared. Before we finished our drinks, dinner came. Dinner was tasty but the service was slow to get the bottle of wine we ordered. The ambience is very nice, but we would have appreciated some time to enjoy our drinks. When our waitress learned that it was my birthday, she put a candle in the pie. Overall, it was nice.
