Be aware that the menu and pictures you see online are not the every day menu. Was more a cafeteria menu than a restaurant.
Only problem I had was we thought they were going to have brunch but they only have brunch on Sunday’s. We got stuck with a lunch menu with a few items not really many choices. The spicy chicken sandwich was delicious along with the sauce. Drink we ordered were also delicious. Would give 5 starts but I guess we went at the wrong time of day. Should update online menu along with hours so people can know exactly when to go
Great server. Quiet at lunch. Food was exactly what we wanted. Split the pecan with tomato jam salad and a Cuban sandwich. It was great.
The place is outstanding. I brought my wife for her birthday. The food is amazing. We had a little issue with the waiter but the manager saved the day. Really, not something to downgrade their score. I definitely recommend this place. Cheers!
We did the bar chef table experience. Table was dirty, it had not been cleaned prior to our seating. Food was mediocre, and bar service was not timed properly with the courses.
We had a reservation and were seated right on time. We had to wait thirty minutes for someone to bring us water and take our appetizer order. This is the only reason I’m giving it three stars. The restaurant was not busy and there were several empty tables.
Had such an enjoyable experience during the Eggs & Legs brunch. Definitely will be back.

I’ve been here 3-4 times now. All previous visits were great, but this one was not. Restaurant was empty, but took forever for food and drinks. Server was horrible in customer interaction. Food was mediocre at best. Really hope they can get back to how it was a couple years ago. Otherwise, skip it
Noise level was very high and the servers were good, but slow. Burger and fries were good, but the gumbo left something to be desired.

Don’t go there for lunch if you are hungry! Not many options, very small plates
Way to loud. Server more interested in her work station then service. My wife noted to the staff the women's room was gross and was told they already knew it would not be cleaned until later. 90 minutes later it was still gross. One the plus side the food was very good. Does not seem to meet the standards of a Brennan's Restaurants.

We had reservations. But we were seated at the very back of the restaurant in front of the restroom. When we asked to be relocated to other empty tables (available at that time) we were told they were for larger parties. But throughout dinner i observed plenty of couples or party of two that came after us being seated at the front. I am attaching pictures from our dining experience that night. The hostess had a very nasty attitude. I was shocked by her behavior and the way she talked to us. When making reservations i selected their everyday menu not the Christmas menu as the Christmas menu had lots of pork items and we do not eat pork. Upon arrival we were told that the Christmas menu was the only menu they were serving. If that was the case why would opentable give me the option to chose a different menu for my reservation? Had i known i would have made reservations elsewhere. We love eating out. Ranging from high end places to hole in the wall places. But never have i ever had such a horrible dinning experience. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I am still trying to get over what a shocking Christmas dinner experience we had. We paid $140 for dinner at this New Orleans restaurant to receive bad attitude from the hostess, dine with a view of the restaurant trash and restroom traffic, with pathetic menu options!

The food at SoBou was great. Unfortunately, everything else about the meal was terrible. For being a Brennan's restaurant we expected an experience, but got anything but. It was pre fixe menu which was still okay. But nevertheless, it took 35 minutes to get our first drink and the entire meal took forever. They clearly were understaffed but shouldn't have served so many if they knew they were limited. The table next to us told our server "this meal has been a marathon." I would never recommend this establishment which is very disappointing.
We're seated it took about 15 minutes to get a glass of water, we asked about the wine pairing and was told a different glass with each course. We ordered that first course took about 10 minutes came with wine, they brought the second course, no wine. After asking they brought the second glass with our 3rd course. Then before we were finished brought our deserts with a glass. Overall very disappointing experience we felt rushed that because there was just 2 of us an afterthought until they wanted rid of us. The food was good, the service poor, overall for $300 with tip it wasn't worth it, oh and the taxes were not included in the prebooked price.
The Revillion menu was absolutely delicious! Every dish came out in a timely manner and the ambiance was amazing! I will be coming back during my next trip to NOLA.

The food was absolutely not worth $85 a person. Not prepared well, under seasoned. An absolute disappointment.

We saw that the review for Sobou was great and we stayed at the W hotel which was awesome so we chose to go there for our Christmas Eve dinner. The service was very poor. It seems like our waiter just started serving there for the first time that day.
The drinks was not so good, and the food was just ok. We had a 4 course prefix meal. The first two courses was not impressive, the main course was as the only thing that’s quite good, the dessert was not bad. I’m not really sure if this was just that prefix menu, but it was quite a disappointment for all of us as we had quite a high expectations for our Christmas Eve dinner from the review we read.
Toi took very good care of us for our Reveillon Dinner Christmas Eve.
Amazing service, atmosphere and food.
We had a blast, as usual, at SoBou. Brent (or Brett maybe) at the bar is great. My husband always has blast with him and he makes excellent drinks.
We got there early to enjoy some time at the bar and decided to just have our Reveillon dinner while at the bar. It is just too fun! We stayed until closing time, again!
The food and drinks are always wonderful but also, we just have a blast there!
A nicely executed restaurant in all ways, food, drink, ambience, and comfort
This place is more of an upscale style restaurant but very reasonable prices, at least for lunch when I went. Enjoyed the cajun fries but even more so the blackened fish tacos. Those were ridiculously amazing! My only complaint was that it was hard to get any server’s attention despite a minimal crowd (2 other tables) because I never got napkins or silverware. I managed and honestly the staff was really nice and welcoming.
Our party went for the Revellion dinner. The appetizers were good, the gumbo was good but the salad was just ok. The guys ordered short ribs and enjoyed them. I had the fish. Mahi-mahi was substituted for grouper and was inedible. The fish and crabmeat were overcooked to the point t of being too dry to eat. The guys ordered bread pudding that was heavy and not very sweet. The crème brûlée was delicious. To be fair, the manager must have noticed my displeasure and offered to cook something else. I declined because by the time it would have been brought out, the others would have finished their meal.
