That is why they are proud to relaunch their signature Bar Chef Table, where guests can indulge in three cocktail and food pairings created by Sobou’s expert bar and culinary team. At the end of the meal, guests receive a “SoBou Members Only” Debloom which can be used at any future SoBou visit for special discounts and secret perks. Reservations are required and must be made at least 12 hours in advance.

Located alongside the W. Ate during pandemic and after hurricane Ida so don't look too far into review. Food and atmosphere good. Have the bread pudding and ask chef for items not on menu.
Was only a very pricey brunch menu at 1:30 pm. This was not made clear when booking. Also a burlesque show, also not mentioned.
Appetizers came out with enteees, ordered 2 medium steaks that were well done, had to ask for silverware,
We had so much fun at the burlesque brunch. Would definitely recommend for a girls trip! The women were so beautiful and every set was amazing. The food was magnificent. I had the crab claws and pecan crusted fish. Literally chef kisses.
The restaurant was very accommodating when I called ahead to have a bottle of champagne brought to the table upon arrival however I had to discreetly remind them twice before it came to the table. We tried the tuna cones, meat pies and boudin trail as appetizers. The boudin link and ball were delicious but the cracklins were the fluffy chip variety, not the true crunchy pork belly. The tuna cones were tasty but gimmicky as each cone had a few of the tiniest diced cubes of tuna. The meat pies were great; crispy and flavorful. The drinks were excellent. The mains unfortunately were so incredibly salty that it was almost hard to finish the meals. We passed on dessert. Our waitress wasn’t terribly attentive with a mostly empty restaurant. I attempted to give feedback more than once but she would grab our plates and run away. Overall it was an average experience and we likely won’t be back anytime soon given the multitude of better options in the city.

Overall experience was nice. The food was not so good, but staff and ambience was great.
The ambience is amazing, the food was okay. It was overly spicy in my opinion but overall it was a really nice experience.

The food was amazing. Much better than I anticipated.
For an appetizer I had the Boudin Trail, which was a boudin link, cracklins and crusted boudin. The crusted boudin was the best part of it. The crackins basically came straight from the bag as best I can tell, and the boudin link was not terribly flavorful. I then had the gumbo, which for the most part was ok. There wasn't a lot of spice as the menu describes it, and the roux is dark, almost like there was a touch of chocolate in it. I then had the New York Strip for the entree, which came with smashed potatoes and sauteed spinach. The spinach was bland and lacked any flavor whatsoever, the steak was over cooked (ordered it medium) and had lots of gristle. The potatoes were good, and the Port Wine Jus on the steak was also very good. This whole meal was way below expectations, and for the overall price with tip at $103, it just wasn't worth it. In fact, this may be the worst meal I've ever had in NOLA from an expectations perspective.

What can I say, yet again SoBou did not disappoint. The burlesque brunch was that and then some. I fell in love with one of the dancers but played it cool lol. Great experience!! Already booked another brunch in August
We had the chef’s table experience and it was amazing! The cocktails were perfectly matched to the courses. The chef and the bartender explained each one so well. It was a fantastic experience.

Great spot for sharing New Orleans style small plates and cocktails. Love the lighted bottles that decorate the walls. Creates a very unique ambiance. Would love to come back for the Legs & Eggs Burlesque brunch on Sundays.

We loved the Chef Bar Experience! The chef spent time with us going over our menu choices. Loved everything on our menu and the attention to detail. Our bartenders for the evening were Jarred, who was very good and created beautiful cocktails for us, and Frankie served us an original cocktail we called the “Phoenix Rising”. Excellent cocktail we hope to see on the menu next time we visit.
Overall a wonderful evening we will remember. Our next visit will be the Burlesque Brunch. Can’t wait!!

Best service of any outing is a very long time.
We were one of the latest parties in the restaurant so it was relatively empty, yet service was unbearably slow. At one point our food was delivered to the wrong table and we watched the other party take some food then they moved it directly to our table. The ambiance was lovely and the restaurant was stunning but service was definitely not up to standard.

Our server was awesome!! Great recommendations on the food. Very small portions. Can’t say that it was worth the price. The ambiance was really nice! I would not come back. But it was definitely worth a one time experience.

A fun and unique twist on Louisiana street food. A welcome change of pace that was well executed. The meal was perfectly complemented by craft cocktails.
The cocktail at the bar was wonderful. But once seated, after 30min of no one acknowledged our table or two other tables. And the hostess was asked about it and didn't care. I quietly left without ordering

Our cocktails that we had at the bar before our reservation were quite good. However, we had a reservation for 6 PM. Our server did not arrive until 28 after six. No one, not another waitstaff, or manager or hostess, came by our table to provide us with either water, menus, or an explanation. Another couple, who is also been seated at six, said that they were going to leave. I informed Deja who said she would tell the manager. That was at 6:20. At 6:25 a couple left. The food, was, and the whole unacceptable. It was overly spiced an overly salted. The fried oysters were not crispy, and the oysters themselves were mealy. The gumbo was good, but the begniets were not. It is not a restaurant that we will ever return to.
