We are a short walk from Camden Yards/Oriole Park & M&T/Ravens Stadium. We are very close to the Convention Center, Downtown & the Inner Harbor.
Always a great meal when dining at Sobo. So friendly it’s like having a great meal at a good friends house!
One of our party had dined often at SoBo under previous ownership, but none-the-less was pleasantly impressed. I was agog with the adeptness of the staff - professional, stealthy, serve from the right, clear from the left. We will definitely keep SoBo in our brunch rotation.
A warm friendly atmosphere with consistently great food. You can’t go wrong.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere!
Always wonderful dining at SoBo Cafe! Delicious food, great service, cozy environment.
We were bringing a couple who had never been and wanted them to have a wonderful experience. Our waitress was very nice, but inattentive, forgot one of our appetizers and just not too helpful.
My husband got the fettucine and did not like it. Overall, it was very good, but do not know if either couple will come back.
This is a quaint neighborhood cafe. Local artists' work is hung on the walls and can be purchased. The space is fairly small, but it's not noisy; it's still easy to have a conversation with your dining companion(s). Service is friendly but not always very attentive; my companion and I had to wait a while for our coffee cups to be refilled. Entree portions are generous, and meals are tasty.
Lovely little neighborhood spot with very good service, great for brunch!
I had the turkey sandwich. Best I ever had. My husband said the same about the French dip. Small space. Excellent food. Good service. Very clean.
We love returning to SoBo. My husband is crazy about their chicken pot pie and it never disappoints. I and our guest had the hamburger with the works and added sautéed onions. it was delish. We were sorry we couldn't fit in the dessert when we saw the carrot cake. We will have to come back!
The food was great and healthy and fresh and presented well. The ambiance was cute and casual with many families. The noise level was a little high but not out of the ordinary. The price was less than I expected and a great deal for the quality of the food! It was a great experience, I would definitely go again.
Love this place! The service is very slow, however, which can be hard when you are there for a working lunch. It may have been wise to let the server know of a time constraint- we did not. The restaurant also seemed to be busier than the staff had expected.
Great food and rotating local art add to a great evening. We had a large party and the food came out hot and in a timely fashion.
On top of the great food, there was a great band playing, Roses and Rust!!
Food was excellent. Unfortunately, we were there on St. Patrick’s Day eve, so getting there was a hassle. Also, the construction next door was unsightly. But the service and cuisine were first rate.
Great little neighborhood gem. Food was outstanding and staff were very attentive, without being overly so. The dining area is small but comfortable. We were there for brunch at 10:30 AM on a Saturday and there were plenty of open tables, so the noise level was very low. It was nice not to have to shout in order to carry on a conversation like one has to do in so many establishments these days. Highly recommend this great little place and my wife and I will definitely be going back again in the future.
Great restaurant to catch up with friends.
SoBo Cafe is one of our neighborhood favorites. Everyone is always friendly, service is on point and well timed, and the food is DELICIOUS. Love the food, drinks, people, and atmosphere. We will be back again soon!
We live in the neighborhood, so we eat at SOBO regularly. We have never been disappointed. This evening we had the corned beef special (very tender) and a seafood stew. Both were terrific. Service is always pleasant and efficient.
Mediocre food; decent wine; nice service. OK value, but not a place to which I will likely return.
Excellent as usual--the best and friendliest place in Fed Hill. I've probably said this in other reviews, but this is our "go-to SoBOASIS"!!! Truly a Federal Hill and Baltimore gem!
It was a group of 5 of us and all enjoyed their dishes. A colleague from Italy noticed that the fettuccine was freshly made and ordered the night special it with braised beef. I had the porcini fettuccine and it was excellent. One had the pork chop, a generous serving and she said it was one of the best she had eaten. We chose Sobo because of its diverse menu (I'm vegetarian, the rest not),attention to details and what we thought were reasonable prices.
We absolutely LOVE adobo and its staff (Linda is the best) - true delicious gem in Fed Hill with real fresh food made there. Enjoy regularly
Absolutely the best French dip ever as the service is always wonderful
Normally love this place but the food was not good on Friday. Under seasoned, greasy, burned.. we will still go back. Maybe an off night.
The staff was great very attentive. They even helped to us determine if we were parked legally to avoid a ticket. Place is small but quaint. Food was very good with some different items .
SoBo Cafe has been a favorite for a long time. I returned for brunch for the first time in a while and it was just as excellent as I remembered! Great food, friendly service... GREAT food.
Very comfortable atmosphere and the food was delicious and creative.
The place was cozy and quiet. The food and service was fantastic. I go every time I’m in Baltimore and this place never disappoints.
We always love Sobo and having been going for many years. Chicken pot pie is a must as well as spinach pie and Mac and cheese. The turkey sandwich is also excellent.
It was too loud. Food is great, but if I’m in town on a night when there’s live music, I’ll go somewhere else.
Had a wonderful dinner at SoBo Cafe. We were running late and the restaurant appreciated our call and held our reservation. Not much street parking to be had. My daughter had the special- a delicious crab cake accompanied by asparagus w Hollandaise sauce and fingerling potatoes. I had a dinner salad with unique “spiced apples” and a great vinaigrette. For my main I had the chicken pot pie which had a wonderful puff pastry crust and incredibly delicious cream sauce. It was a little light on chicken and veggies. For dessert she had the homemade chocolate pudding sans peanut whipped cream (allergy) and I had a plate of giant chocolate dipped strawberries. Our waitress and the hostess were very pleasant and overall we had a great experience. The restaurant has a wonderful menu and I’m sure we’ll return again.
This is a great neighborhood restaurant. We went for brunch and the food and service was outstanding.
Cozy neighborhood cafe with delicious food. Steak with creamed spinach and potatoes was a terrific entree.
I love this restaurant, always a great place with amazing food.
Great food for the price. The wine was priced nicely as well. Definitely coming back.
Went for valentines day. Place was packed but staff was great, food out on time and delicious. Great gem in fed hill
Although, it is a nice small place, the tables were so close together it was hard to have a private conversation. There were other tables open but they wouldn't move us because they said the table were reserved according to time????
Also, I didn't realize that it didn't have a full bar. I had only been there once before and I remembered that they had a good selection of wine; not so this time.
Excellent food, friendly service, reasonable prices, cozy atmosphere, great value!
Charming and quaint restaurant nestled in a hip and interesting neighboor, Federal Hill.
