One of my favorite spots in West Palm Beach. Always great food and an interesting wine list. I love the big red banquettes for intimate dining and conversation. This last trip I had the catch of the day, which was diver scallops with risotto and fresh peas and pancetta. It was amazing! My dinner partner had the shrimp and spinach fettucine which was delicious. We love to start with the charcuterie, which has a nice mix of cheeses and cured meats. Can't wait to go back!
Went for Valentine's Day date and was very impressed. Definitely will go again. Excellent guacamole.
If you're interested in a restaurant where you can have a conversation with your friends/guests, keep looking
Moreover, this isn't a restaurant, it's a (at times) a Rowdy bar
that just happens to have a very good chef
We were 7 people for a table at 10pm on New Year's Eve. We had never been here before. This was the only place on the strip where we could get a reservation, so we weren't expecting much. What a surprise that the decor, ambiance, music, crowd, and food were all very good. Not a huge variety of food, but an interesting selection, and tapa-like portions or dinner size portions of food were offered. It was all quite tasty. Large selection of wines, of-course. The have very comfy booths for four to six people that make great conversation pits. Service was not great, but it was New Year's Eve, so there was more business and more distractions than usual. We enjoyed out 2 hours there, and they even gave everyone a free glass of champagne at midnite.
We arrived on time. They were a bit confused as to where to sit us. Once that issue was resolved we were seated outside on this beautiful night. We sat and sat and sat. After 20 minutes we left.
Fun restaurant with very good casual food. But, given its a wine bar, the server was unskilled at opening a bottle (even broke the cork), wine was warm and not proper temp for a red, and sever forgot to put in complete order and disappeared once food was delivered. The manager needs to do some serious training and get a wine fridge for your better reds.
Service was good, food was excellent! People watching on Clematis always fun. Charcuterie was great and the lobster Mac and cheese was great. They were short staffed, but the people working really moved and did their best. We will be back!
Great experience! Had unlimited wine and champagne for the night with a purchase of ten dollars or more of food! Great deal!
Food is great! Lots of unique small plates and they are the perfect size! Servers are very friendly, but just seem stretched to thin with many tables. This is the second time I have been and had this experience. When our server came to the table he was great, but he seemed to take quite bit of time in between. Overall, great place and would definitely dine again.
Service is very subpar here and it wasn't just this one time. Place was empty on a Saturday night at 9pm. My guess it's cause the service is bad and there are many choices near by. Food was decent, would go back if service was better, but when the server doesn't care about service, drinks took 30 mins, food took about 50 mins and what should be a 60-90min dinner turns into a 2.5 hour process, who wants to go back?
Food was excellent - flavor, presentation, preparation. Enjoyed the film clip shown on the restaurant projector screen showing the culinary team preparing different food items. Our server Samantha is a gem! Knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, not afraid to make recommendations, and good follow-up. Definitely be back
We will be back! Great menu. Cool vibe. Fun people.
Everyone had an amazing time.
Please note that the restaurant name has changed to The Wine Dive. Great atmosphere and service. My husband got the meat & cheese board and loved it! Overall great experience. We'll definitely be back.
Out of town at bike festival on Clematis St. Nice and close. Took reservations. It wasn't that busy so was skeptical, but glad we stayed. Cheese and chaceuterie plate was awesome. Big wine selection. Weren't sure we were at right place because all the signs said Wine Dive, not Snooty's?
Funky looking restaurant. Good food, nicely presented. Complied with special food requests Early in the evening, so not particularly noisy
Tough to get the waiters attention.
Also...even though the menu mentioned gluten free/vegan options, the waiter was unfamiliar with them - no vegetarian entrées either and none could be prepared. ..only flatbreads were vegetarian. .
The most underrated restaurant in downtown WPB! Food is amazing!
I have been here several times and love the food. I always get the charcuterie to start because of the pairing with a great wine list. I have also had the tuna poke and it truly could be a meal in itself rather than an appetizer.
I am a huge fan of the lobster risotto. I have always gotten at least two huge chunks of claw meat every single time.
While I had expected a terrific evening - the food was better than anticipated. We sampled many of the small plates and entrees in our party of 6. The wine selection was well priced and a good selection (compared to many local restaurants)
Hostess was very rude. Questioned me as to where and who I spoke to about a reservation for the day we dined. Was very short and condescending with me and my partner. Informed us they could still seat us , but could only have the table for an hour and a half.
Not a good way to greet consumers !
A bit disappointing actually.
We went on the 18th, the day after St. Patricks Day and it showed. Nobody wanted to be there, at the end of the night, neither did we.
From the hostess to the waiter, bartender and probably the cooks. They all looked, acted and performed hungover.
Our waiter gave his best but it was obvious.
The wine was over priced but average. Granted the $40 bottle of wine half price on Wednesdays is a good deal but not when it tastest like a $10 bottle.
The food was average, heck my chicken was cold.
Food was fantastic. Wine was delicious. Elijah, Stephanie and team were on point for service. We enjoyed our evening and our planning a Wednesday return soon!!
Nice long list of wines by the glass. Great small plates for sharing - shrimp and grits were very good. Also leave room for the hot donuts with candy coated bacon......a must try
Tapas with a nice wine list, so you can try different dishes with small pours or full glasses. Have to try the tuna poke - best we've had. Will definitely return when back in west palm.
The food was very good but our server is what made the night. HIs name was Elijah
He was very personalble as well as knowledgable of the way the menu worked and how things were going to go. He gave great guidance about the menu and made great recomendations on the drink list.
It was very refreshing to be able to have a person that didn't just come to the table and take an order…you could tell he was great at what he did and he gave off the apperance that he was very vested in the success of the restaurant and went out of his way to make sure things were going great.
Unless you are 22 years old. Went for happy hour one day and it was great. Heard great things about their brunch, made a reservation a month in advance. They cancelled it the day before, claimed they called and left a message. What is the point of a reservation? Doesn't that mean you are coming unless you call to cancel? Ended up waiting on the curb 40 minutes with a baby in tow. Given the loud bass cranking out of there (on a Sunday) and the people getting plowed on mimosas it was probably a blessing. Went down the street and got seated immediately without a reservation. They clearly were not interested in catering to our "older" 40ish crowd. The happy hour food was ok as was the sangria but the whole brunch thing was unprofessional.
Wine Dive is a perfect venue for a fun, lively and delicious weekend brunch with a chic vibe. Out-of-town guests always appreciate the menu and love the atmosphere. While some of the service professionals are all stars, others could use some serious hospitality and service training.
The menu was difficult to figure out, the service was terrible and the food quality was ok, but nothing memorable. We had guests that had driven up from Fort Lauderdale for dinner and neither of them even attempted to finish their plates.
Hour and a half limit for table service for brunch hours. After your table time is done, you get a wrist band and can drink at the bar. Music was incredibly loud. And it was club music. At noon. On a Sunday.
