   A wonderfully historic restaurant with fantastic food and service. I remember lovely dinners shared with family over 40 years ago and it is still as wonderful as I remember!

   Can not go wrong ordering the strip steak. Our favorite. House made Sangria is also our favorite.

   Every aspect of the meal from beginning to end was good. All of the servings were generous and everything was tasty. We started with the cheese plate, which offered different bites and textures with the combination of cheeses, dried fruit, and nuts. There were many options that sounded inviting for our main but we both chose the stuffed pork chop. It was well made and came with sides that complemented the main dish. We got the peanut butter bomb for dessert and had the lightest but super flavorful mousse I have ever tasted. Our server was attentive and was always available to answer any questions. Our water glass was never empty. The view of the lake was also pretty and provided a nice environment to enjoy our meal.

    We look forward to having lunch here when we want to take a drive. The food is very good, the staff is friendly and the view of the lake is pretty. We have never had a bad experience here.
