   Great server and bartender. Food was prepared perfectly. The atmosphere was quiet and enjoyable.

   We had (initially) a scenic table overlooking the grounds. Problem was there was a (wedding?) reception in the room adjacent to where we sat, and music wasn’t exactly of the “romantic” genre (we were celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary), so my wife asked to have our table relocated, which they did no problem. And we were able to keep our same server too. Brianna was very attentive and always had a smile. The french onion soup was très magnifique! Our entrees were delicious, perhaps just shy of perfect, but large portions, enough to take home. The gent playing the piano was very talented, and played our song (Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton) flawlessly, right off the top of his head! Bravo! Will certainly return again.

   Always a wonderful experience dining at Smithville Inn. The stuffed pork chop is delicious every time.

   First time visit. Server Kiera was outstanding; helpful, very pleasant and very responsive! New England Seafood Chowder was OK, good not great. The House Salad was average. My wife had the Scallops and Gouda Grits. An awful lot of cheese in the grits but overall her meal was quite good. The Scallops were cooked perfectly! I had the Prime Rib, which was prepared closer to rare than medium rare as ordered. Quite tasty. I could have done without the red onion in the beans, just a personal preference. The prices in today’s world were quite reasonable. I would definitely go back, there are many items on the menu I would like to try.

   Smithville Inn was such a wonderful place. We are visiting from San Diego and are so happy we found it. Everything was perfect and the food was delicious. The French Onion Soup should not be missed.

   the service was excellent and the service was perfect too. handicap accessible which is great for us. we will definitely return.

    This was our first time eating at the Smithville Inn, and will definitely NOT be our last!! The food was absolutely AMAZING! The service was excellent. The Piano player was a complete surprise and a pleasant one. We were so relaxed, we were never rushed! We absolutely love our new restaurant and we highly recommend it. Don't even get me started with their Onion Soup!!! The best I ever tasted! The Pot Pye was to die for. Please do yourself a favor, try this place! We are sure glad we did. I never write reviews, nothing has ever been life changing enough for me, but trust me, it's worth it to tr he Smithville Inn!!
