    Smithville Inn is always a home run! The food was excellent as was the service. Six people ate different things and everyone loved their meal.

    Always a great experience at the Smithville Inn. The food is always delicious, the choices are plentyful, the special menu is always diverse, the date night menu they had last night was excellent and we ended up ordering two meals off of that. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff is always top-notch and super friendly. Well worth a visit anytime you get a chance.

    Great ambience. Loved the piano player in the main dining room. Food was excellent! Prime rib was so tender, the stuffed pork chop was so tasty and as the website says the French onion soup was delicious! Service was excellent. Would definitely return.

    Went for anniversary and it was a good time. Food was good and so was the service. They have events there that get a little loud but other than that it was great. Would go again.

    We ordered the pot pie and pork chop. Both dishes were excellent. The pot pie is big enough for 2 people. We also ordered athe tomato pie as an appetizer. Its not what you think- try it!

    We had (initially) a scenic table overlooking the grounds. Problem was there was a (wedding?) reception in the room adjacent to where we sat, and music wasn’t exactly of the “romantic” genre (we were celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary), so my wife asked to have our table relocated, which they did no problem. And we were able to keep our same server too. Brianna was very attentive and always had a smile. The french onion soup was très magnifique! Our entrees were delicious, perhaps just shy of perfect, but large portions, enough to take home. The gent playing the piano was very talented, and played our song (Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton) flawlessly, right off the top of his head! Bravo! Will certainly return again.
