Great as usual
I am always happy with Slatts. Good service by excellent wait staff. Very good food with a little bit extra in every dish. Nice relaxed atmosphere. We eat here for everyday and for special occasions. I highly recommend Slatts. If you haven’t been here, you should give them a try.
Salmon was gray, not good at all. Shanghi salad was terrible. Way to salty and swimming is soy ginger vinaigrette, again, not good. Onion rings not a light batter, an overcooked hard batter, too thick, again not good.
As a Programs Coordinator I am always looking for an accessible place with good food, friendly service, and reasonable pricing to take my residents for lunch. Slatts more than fit my requirements. The portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair. Our server was very attentive. We will add them to our rotation for future outings
Always great food and service. Understand there are new owners, but not much change at this time. Don't mess with what works.
Food and service were both painfully mediocre. Nice concept in good location, just wish they could add little more flavor to the waitstaff and food.
Wife's meal (tacos) were good, my steak with lettuce wedge was very tough. Service a little slow. Front hostess needs a little polish on customer relations. Other patrons seemed to be having issues as well with overall service.
Food was bad its gone down hill really bad. Waitress ask my wife why she didn't eat her green beans. Plus another waitress was showing her underwear off. Just bad
Good food, and prices. Good server.
Met 2 girlfriends for lunch. Service was good, food was good we enjoyed being able to talk and catch-up. Slatts is a nice dependable neighborhood restaurant. We dine there frequently
We found this place last minute for our large family, and we were very happy with our experience here. The food can be characterized as tasty bar food. We had appetizers, salad, and 6 different entrees. All were delicious. The biscuits they served were also a big hit. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop back for a casual dinner.
The service was OK overall. However, the food was not good. The steak sandwich was hard as a rock. Skip it!
My husband wasn't too hungry so he had the wings with mild sauce and they were nice large size, but bland - his mistake for not ordering a more interesting sauce. I had the cobb salad - which did not come with avocado as is traditional - but I was able to get some added for a fee. The salad was very nice - wish it had been served on a larger plate as it was a generous size but hard to mix up all the goodies. I would say this is an average "any night" spot with good food and our service was very nice and our server was attentive but not overly. We will definintely go back. Good spot for the two of us when I don't have time or don't feel like cooking
Always good. An easy casual place to dine. Love their house made Creole sauce.
We’re here all of the time and the food is usually good. But tonight, the short rib dinner on the seasonal menu was terrible.
Experience was fine. Food was ok.
We stopped for lunch. The biscuits are amazing! Had I known we would get biscuits, I would have skipped the appetizer of potato knots. The potato knots are shredded potatoes, cheddar cheese, bacon and scallions made into a ball and deep fried. Can't really go wrong. The chicken fingers are battered and fried. The fries are steak fry cut and crispy. Service was good. Would recommend this gem to anyone who likes "pub food". Portions are very generous.
Our group ordered a variety of different food. All was really good. Party of six very satisfied
Nice atmosphere. My low carb burger/salad (substituted grilled chicken) was great. My husband’s meatloaf, however, was dry and didn’t have the mushroom sauce listed on the menu. Cheese broccoli that came with it was like what you get in the freezer at Kroger. Very poor value and quality. Service was just okay.
5 ladies on New Year's Eve. Not very crowded at 7:30. Comfortable atmosphere. Nice waitress.
A total disappointment. We left without eating our meals. The server felt obligated to apologize to us.
Brought my Mom and brother here while they were visiting from Alabama. We were a group of 5 and were seated promptly and had a very nice server, Rachel. Everyone tried something different and we all enjoyed our meals. We split the pretzel and beer cheese appetizer and tried the following entrees: Black Bean Burger, Talapia Tacos, Southwest Salad, Chicken Parmesan and Shrimp and Grits. It is a nice neighborhood find.
Always a happy customer. Staff is super. Love the location.
We had a great evening, quiet enough to talk, but vibrant enough atmosphere to feel upbeat. Food was good, especially the goetta Slattsinatti appetizer, and the beer was cold. Perfect evening!
A good meal -- lobster bisque and tuna melt sandwich. Well prepared. Enjoyed. Alas, followed by heartburn.
Excellent food (fish tacos), service and atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone.
We had a large party at lunch and seated between 2 large parties. The noise level was so loud that any conversation was to yell. We had a reservation so Slatts knew our party was coming yet there was only one server for the parties. There is no reason to wait an hour for a sandwich and salad!
Food was very good, I had the etouffee, it was splendid. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was very pleasant. they have tv's so you can watch the game, but they are not intrusive.
The tilapia was delicious. And every one else loved their Dinner. Very generous portions.
I asked for a side salad and got a huge salad ..only small problem. A I had to pay almost $5 for that. And they should offer one f f salad dressing.
Good food, good service, background music was to loud for me. Difficult to talk over the music.
Good food, good wine, and good ambiance would recommend to a friend. I was really impressed with their food and wine and the prices! I will go back again.
Too bad I can't give 0 stars. Walked out after 15 minutes. No acknowledgement from anyone even as we left. Too many options in the area to put up with this. Won't be back.
My family loves Slatt's. We eat here at least once a week and it's always a treat.
I went for a weekend lunch. The place was nearly empty. Our server was very nice. That was the best part. We were offered some drop biscuits which were fine and ordered the onion rings to start. They were OK but the sauce was apricot jelly with little more added. It just wasn't to my liking. My entrée was the open face meatloaf served with mashed potatoes. The meatloaf was as dry as dust and lacked flavor. The potatoes were instant. The item was covered with white gravy. It was reminiscent of a school cafeteria meal. I also had rice that was dry and strangely seasoned. Overall it was not a good meal, but the server was very nice.
Great as usual. Eating lunch here today and the barbecue is very tasty
Great as always. Good cod beer. Wonderful biscuits. Variety of selections on menu.
Great tasting and reasonably priced selection of eats
Food was just like any other restaurant you can find on every other street corner. Service was lacking. It took 10 minutes to order & get drinks.
Atmosphere was good. Waitress was excellent. The food was OK and for the price, I expected better. We had the fish and this is more of a "burger" place. We'd go back but we won't get the same meal again. If the next time we leave thinking we overpaid again, that may be our last.
Good quality tasty food. Will visit again. One of the better meals I have had in the US.
Good food, reasonable prices & great service. Have been going there since they opened & has always met our expectations.
