A spectacular view with wonderful food. The best dining view I’ve ever had💕
Estuvo más o menos. El capitán de meseros nos sirvió cosas que no pedimos, el cóctel de camarón hachado a perder y nos exigieron propina
Outstanding meal and dessert atop of the Skylon Tower. Fine dining, pianist, lovely view of downtown and the Falls. Highly recommended.
Awesome view, attentive staff, scrumptious meal. It was my friend's birthday, which I mentioned to the host as we were being seated. After a delectable meal, which all four in our party thought superb, the waitstaff brought her a piece of cheese cake with a lit candle. Fabulous meal.
I expected the food to be bad because you're paying for the "experience," but it was amazing. Excellent food, beautiful views.
We were with our kids for spring break. It was their first time to Niagara Falls and the skylon was a fantastic way to eat dinner and enjoy the beauty of the falls! The kids got the non-alcoholic pina-coladas and they came in glass souvenir skyline they got to keep! The kids loved every minute of the experience! We had a reservation for 6:30 so it was perfect....the sun went down while we went around and it was night to see the falls lit up when we went up to the observation deck after dinner. Definitely worth the money for the experience!!!
We went to this restaurant mainly for the revolving nature and the view of Niagara Falls. We took our 6 and 9 year old. We were given a window seat as requested. We knew it was very expensive, way outside our budget but went for a one time experience. The kids were very excited and amazed at the revolving feature of the restaurant. The food was good but Chili's good, nothing that reflects the price you pay for it. It was pretty loud because we were by a table bussing station. I would have been disappointed with this if it was a romantic dinner but since it was a family dinner, it made me feel more comfortable and made it easy when we needed something from the server like a coke refill. There were more families with young children there than I imagined which also made us comfortable. The service was very good and they gave me a piece of cheesecake on the house when they overheard me talk about my birthday.
This was a fabulous meal. The bartender lady was awesome, however was a little disappointed in our server for supper. The food and ambiance were breathtaking. The bathrooms however were a different story. They were out of toilet paper, not very clean and a few of the toilets were out of order. Didn't let it ruin our experience but was extremely disappointed in this aspect of the restaurant.
View is amazing. To bad the food isn’t . Food was average and pricey
We had a wonderful experience. The staff were attentive and fun. The food was good and the views were great.
We went for dinner on our honeymoon and the view was spectacular! Great place to dine.
Excellent! Great service, amazing view and food was amazing!
The rotating dining experience was exceptional. We enjoyed the food as well as the service offering.
The only thing I found to be negative, is the dining lights that are reflective on photos taken at night. Overall, the experience was great.
Very nice, can't beat the view. But very pricey. Drinks were 15$ and filled about 1/3 of the glass.
Food was very good.
Ambiance was amazing, our server was nice but not outstanding. Food was of a good quality and surprisingly large.
The main thing you'll remember about eating at The Skylon isn't the food, it's the views. The food was very good, just nothing amazing. If you can manage it I highly recommend taking advantage of their early dining special. (It included a salad, a selection of entrees to choose from, and a mousse dessert with the option to upgrade to another dessert on the menu for $4 for $40 a person) While we were there they had an amazing pianist perform which really added to the atmosphere. Yes, this place is a tourist trap but it was the highlight of our Niagara visit.
We arrived early and had drinks at the bar. We had reservations for 7 pm to see the falls before and after sunset. Great view and food.
La comida tardó 35 minutos creo que la mesera nos olvidó a nuestro alrededor todos habían terminado de cenar y llegamos mas o menos al mismo tiempo, cuando nos sirvieron a nosotros después de que le hice notar que no nos habían servido
Everything was perfect. But not for me, I had a motion sickness all throughout.
I highly recommend to all.
We were very excited to have dinner there and experience the view. The restaurant was recommended by my brother who was there in October, however, the Service could have been better, not as attentive for a nicer quality restaurant
We had the best meal EVER! Staff was excellent and the VIEW, just amazing. The staff was extremely professional and the food was exceptional. Groupon got us 80.00 American dollars off. You won't be disappointed.
Not enough room at the table
Waiter was rude and snobby. The food lacked significant taste.
Location and views are absolutely fabulous, no doubt about it, but the food and value absolutely absurd! The most overpriced "French" rotisserie chicken one can ever have.
It was alright!
Lovely views with interesting facts about the Falls on plaques as you slowly revolve. Service was good with attentive and personable waiter. I would recommend to any first timer to the Falls.
Nice view of the falls , but comes with really small tables for 2. Allso small dinner for a high price. overall food taste ok
The scenery was spectacular, the food was okay at best nothing special, wait staff seam to hurry us through, not very knowledgeable on the menu, drink selection was limited
We had a very nice dinner. Everyone was very friendly.
Good experience! Thank you ;)
Skylon is a once-in-a-lifetime meal with an unbeatable view of Niagara Falls and its surroundings. The service and food are both amazing, but the ambiance of the rotating restaurant is incredible. I would not recommend this location to those who get easily motion sick and be prepared to spend upwards of $150 US dollars on an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert, not including drinks. But this is a wonderful and memorable place to dine. If you go, make sure to take your time ordering to appreciate the views.
I have been to 3 revolving restaurants and, by far, this was the worst. It isn't even a favorite. We went for NYE and the windows were fogging up so you could not even see the falls most of the time. Customers were writing messages on the windows (some even licking their fingers and then trying to write....disgusting!). Tables for 2 were too small for some of the plates on the menu. I also felt like the tables for two were packed in tight. The ambiance of the restaurant was ruined by these things. Food was overpriced and did not taste that great for a NYE dinner. I felt like this was a tourist trap and very disappointed in the experience. Not worth the price at all! Do not waste your money. Go to the CN Tower instead...way better dining experience.
Food was excellent. Very happy they focus on that instead of the amazing revolving view. Our servers were super friendly and always attentive regardless of how busy they were. This is my second visit and plan on going each time we visit Niagara Falls.
The wait staff was not attentive! Overpriced!
We had an amazing time at Skylon! The food and ambiance was great, we had a late dinner so the 'bustle' settled down at that time. Thankfully, since we had a later dinner, there were less people in the dining area as our meal went on - this was important as there was a build up of condensation on the windows and we were unable to see the view when we first sat down. I'm not sure how the staff can counteract this effect but it was a bit frustrating at first. Our servers were very attentive and kind - we loved our Skylon glass souvenirs! The Filet Mignon was a bit pricey but worth the money (as it came with the view) and we ended our meal with the chocolate cheesecake - a bit on the sweeter side but a great end to the meal.
The dining area is a bit crowded as there is limited space to work with - if you are a party of 2, they will likely sit you by the window, though you will be a bit crammed. We requested to move to a larger booth one row back and were pleased with the bigger space without obstructing our view.
@ Skylon - Thank you for a great evening and a wonderful experience in Niagara Falls!
This was a great night. Hostess got us a table at the windows after a brief wait. Situated perfectly for fireworks at 9 pm. Food excellent. Our waiter Jim made the night fun. Prices high but with view and ability to go up to observation deck was overall a reasonable value. I do recommend this restaurant.
First off, I'll start by saying the views were amazing. The seating was a bit tight, so if you're above 6 ft prepare to be tad uncomfortable. The service wasn't bad, just slow. Given I went 630 in the evening may have something to do with it, however. The food was decent, not necessarily worth the price, but you're paying for the atmosphere. Overall, it's a nice place to go for a special occasion. I'd go again.
expensive but worth every penny. Perfect for special occasions
Service was terrible, the waiters that were serving our table were rude and obnoxious. We are tourists, not everyone in the table spoke English (my mother and grandmother don’t speak English), they were rude and had no patience, really uncomfortable for the entire family.
Not a lot of options in the menu, I ordered the pasta and it was tasteless and dry. I tried the burger and that was good, but not worth the price.
The view is amazing and you can take amazing pictures from the falls.
Great food and good service. A little overpriced. Unfortunately, they do not offer military discounts and they do not accept pre-paid gift cards. A little disappointing.
