Easy to book through open table. Meal was fantastic
The food was overpriced but also overcooked. Service was fair to poor. Access to the restaurant was confusing.
Great service but the chef needs to be open to substitutions.
Fabulous views, good service; only problem was that beef was well-done instead of medium.
We enjoyed our visit and dining experience. The view is great, of course, but the food was decent too. Good service throughout.
The experience at Skylon Tower was horrendous from start to finish. For starters, as soon as you enter the line up to go up the elevator you are "forced" to place your things down to take a picture that they will want to sell you to you later for $30. Once we got up into the restaurant and sat down, our glasses had an old lipstick mark on the brim and there were particles floating around in the water. The utensils had dry food stuck on them. We asked for new utensils and a new glass. Then, a basket of cold dry bread was brought to the table which was dreadful. As we were sitting and waiting for our meal we were interrupted a second time by another photographer for a photo which was then again brought to our table after for an exorbitant amount (I get it they have to hustle for every dollar). Moments later, our food arrived which was mediocre to say the least for a $60+ meal and low and behold we found hair in our food. There was no apology made but we were asked if we'd like to order something else or have a fresh plate made. The service was so poor we left the restaurant and upon leaving we became slightly disoriented as to where the exit was. There were 3 staff at the front desk who never even looked up from what they were doing to assist us or ask us if we might need help. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to my enemy. The WORST experience ever.
Excellent food, great service and a fabulous revolving view
We went for the view which was spectacular and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was
We had such a great experience the first time we visited this week that we had to return for a second visit in the same week! Outstanding view great food and exceptional service!
Exceptional completely satisfied what a great view it was so good we are going back again.
The service was ambiance was amazing. The view was beautiful. The food was a big disappointment. It was cafeteria quality food. Eventhogh the food was expensive I would pay more to eat there for some decent quality food. Defentaly would not go again. Very unfortunate considering how nice the view and service was.
It’s all about the view! We had a lovely lunch and we’re just amazed at the vistas all below us. The food was pleasant although not gourmet. The servers were attentive. With the current environment there were not many diners. For some reason we were all seated together. However we were able to talk easily and stop to just stare out the window. If you are going to the falls and it is a nice day or evening go. Truly a wonder to see. And amazing visitors for 56 years!
All in all the management did an excellent job of turning a frown upside down into a smile. Our experience before dinner would have spoiled an otherwise wonderful meal, and experience, if not for the appropriate attitude from the manager on duty (Dejon I think). We arrived at 7:10 for a 7 pm reservation after being forced to take the requisite tourist photos at the bottom then were told the table wasn’t ready, given a pager and suggested to sit in the bar area. The problem was the hostess had not kept track of how many people she told the same thing to, so there was nowhere to sit and no way to order drinks until others left. After finally ordering and being served drinks nearly 25 minutes later the pager we off and we asked to have the bar tab taken to our table, only to be told WE HAD TO pay the bar tab then and there. This is very odd for a fine dining restaurant and it is inconvenient. After being seated 35 minutes past our reservation time I asked for a manger and he was very understanding and agreed with my point about the hostess not sending people to an overcrowded bar area. The rest of the meal was flawless as was the service and we were happily surprised when informed our dessert and after dinner drinks were on the house. We would definitely go back.
I enjoyed the food
It was my moms birthday and I requested cake be given to us and I had no problem pay but we got it for free. That was such a nice gesture and made me feel more inclined and wanting to tip. The manager working in our section was so polite and payed great attention to detail. In the future staff on the floor should be aware of the conversations they are having. Although they think the guest can’t hear, we definitely can. Especially when you are bickering between each other and complaining about other guest.
Overall, definitely would go back and recommend.
The food was horrible. I was very disappointed. Everyone's food was cold. The rice was greasy. Salmon was over cooked. Shrimp wasn't cleaned well. The calimari didn't taste seasoned. The sad part if is the food was actually hot it would have tasted way better.
It was our anniversary weekend in Niagara falls and the luncheon at Skylon tower was a great way to end the trip with fabulous view and ambience. The food was exceptionally good as well. We had the calamari and grilled Atlantic salmon.
No tourist trap here! Excellent food and service. We were pleasantly surprised. Ordered the escargo, french onion soup, a salad and seafood entree. All were delicious. They take your photo and try to sell it to you as a souvenir but not pushy. Our "no thank you" was taken easily. The restaurant revolves once an hour, the views of the falls are excellent! The food is expensive, but the experience includes the ride in the elevator and a trip up to the viewing level, which otherwise would be charged separately, so taken together its not a bad value.
Annual trip to Niagara
Very nice restaurant to celebrate a special occasion.
It was my first time at the Skylon Tower with amazing views, great food, and outstanding service. I definitely recommend it.
Wonderful experience to celebrate a special occasion. Our meal was excellent, the service was amazing. The view was spectacular!
Our waitress was exceptional, her name is Rose (Rosalina)
She was excellent and we add a very good time due to her more than perfect interpersonal skills
Service was wonderful. The server was polite and checked up on us throughout the night. The views of the falls and city were spectacular. The food was not as exciting though. The caesar salad was soggy and barely had any dressing on it. The zucchini noodle dish was bland and soggy. Desert was amazing (the creme brûlée was delicious)!
Nous étions de passage à Niagara et clairement c’est un incontournable pour l’expérience globale. Coté nourriture par-contre il y a place à l’amélioration. Mais nous y retournerons ! Service impeccable :-)
Dinner was good but we felt very rushed from ordering to leaving.
Great!!! Birthday dinner
Love it 😍 good food and a fantastic view no doubt I will return
Really enjoyed lunch in the revolving dining room .. lobster was delicious and husband enjoyed his salmon .. good portion.. great views as well
We went during the pandemic and it was noticeably quieter, which made for a very quiet evening and excellent service.
The only downside was the photographs. We understand that it's a tourist attraction and that for many people it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience but we were simply looking for a quiet date night. Needless to say once we said no they were very polite and didn't bother is again.
Be warned though, parking isn't free at the base of the tower and they don't offer validation regardless of how much you spend.
It was really good.
I love Skylon Tower the moving of a Tower were you see whole Niagara from falls to the city is exceptional.
Food was great . Staff was very friendly.
The view is fantastic. Service was alright. We ordered a few items - the garlic bread and sea bass were delicious. The clam chowder (tomato base) and prime rib were served warm as if it's been sitting out for a while. For the cost of the meal, I expected way more from the quality of the food.
It was a Greta experience. Went out with my family for lunch and it was amazing. Food was great, price was great and the service provide was amazing.
We had a reservation for 7:00. We weren’t seated until 7:45. We were told by the hostess that they overbook they reservations which was why we were being seated so late. The cocktail list left us wanting, as did the menu. Any wine by the glass was not the best as well. For our appetizers we ordered the st Jacques sea scallops and Cesar salad. The scallops were rubbery (overcooked) and just not enjoyable. My dates Cesar salad was wet and flavourless. For our mains we had the prime rib and fillet minion. The meat was OK. However, the seasoned tomato was the most interesting part of the dish. My date told me one the best parts of her night was watching the range of expressions my face made as I took a bite of the seasoned tomato. Then there was the tables surrounding us. I understand it is a tourist attraction, but there were children up running around and screaming. When our bill came, we asked for the machine to pay by card right away. My card sat in the billfold for a half hour. It took us getting up and going to the server stand with our coats on to have the bill paid. If it wasn’t for that we would have been there all night. I would be remised if I didn’t at least say some positive things. The view was beautiful, and the cheese cake they brought out for my dates birthday was pretty good. Would not recommend based on our experience.
Our first time here it was amazing the staff were all friendly and helpful. They were all working very hard to accomodate people during this rough time.
Service was amazing and the food was excellent.
Rôti de bœuf au jus, très ordinaire pour le prix. Saumon était excellent. Service pour le vin médiocre, ils emplissaient nos coupes comme si c’était des verres à l’eau.
