Great experience- everything we were looking for in the menu and quiet enough to catch up with friends.
Everything was delightful the food was outstanding and it was just a lovely evening over all
Lovely ambience. We wanted to try as we are not members. They hid an hourly service charge for dining there. $52! With that being said, our bill was over $400 before a tip! At that price, the cost was not worth the great ambience and good food.
They definitely cater to members. The food was terrible for the price. The service was acceptable and too was the ambiance, however we did not get to enjoy a window seat because we weren't members. Go at your own risk if you dont have a membership.
New Years eve
We had not been out to dinner, dining in, with friends, since before the pandemic began. We had the most delightful experience. The sea bass, scallops, and filet mignon were all excellent. The corn brulee is out of this world. The gingham salad is a Skyline special for good reason. We topped the meal off with Death by Chocolate, a very creative and delicious dessert. Highest recommendation.
Best view of downtown Indianapolis. Cocktails were very good and generous pours. The food was delicious and well served. Menu is rather limited, particularly for appetizers. Overall, it is a little pricey and there was additional admin charge on the bill for what I assume was there because we are not members. Also, you need to pay attention as the tip or service fee is also on the bill when you get it.
The setting on the top floor of 1 American Square 36th Floor, Indianapolis, IN is spectacular. Newly renovated and large windows to view the city while one dines is mesmerizing and relaxing. The service was very good, efficient, friendly, but not too involved. The timing of serving was spot on allowing time to enjoy the beverage and receive each course as expected. The price of the meal and drinks were roughly twice what one would pay at any seasoned and professional restaurant which is a little rich just to have the view. This place is for that special occasion when splurging is the goal.
The view is great! If you look out the window, it is a great spot. But the other direction feels like a business room (and it is!), and lacks effort. Expanses of carpet waiting for tables or displays. The bar is nice, but compared to other restaurants of similar cost, the ambiance falls well short of par. But the view... you are paying for the view. The food was fine, but overpriced for what it was. The service, food, selection, and general impressions fall well short of the multitude of nice steak houses and upscale dining just blocks away in downtown Indy. Nothing was bad, but it falls well short of delivering on the cost of the meal unless the fee for the view is $100. My wife and I agreed it is worth one visit. It was the least romantic anniversary dinner with mediocre service and food at a high price. Had I gone there with ten co-workers on the corporate credit card, it would have been fine. But I would choose a dozen restaurants lacking the view over this. Again, it wasn't a bad experience. But it lacked class, while commanding a premium class fare. A limited wine list (just one single glass offering of cab) and some good wines mixed with a good-but-unexeptional $22 bottle of Conundrum ($70 here, with Wagner/Caymus associations... good drinking wine, but outclassed by normal steakhouse wine cellar fare!). At Christmas, you do have a nice view of Monument Circle. Perhaps go and enjoy it once while it is open for public access.
Amazing view and ambience. Definitely go back. My date really loved it and
We have told everyone about it. Week 25 of dining somewhere different every Wednesday during Covid.
This one is high
On the list
Perfect for a date, incredible views of the circle. plan on going back soon.
This was our first visit to the Skyline Club. Overall it was OK but not terrific. The views were great, of course, and the ambience was impacted by Covid - even for a Saturday night it was almost empty. The service was also very good. The food was only so-so - some of it excellent (like the brussels sprouts appetizer), but the steak and fries were only average, as was the Asian chops. We are fairly sure that key ingredients were missing from some of the dishes, and the two cocktails we ordered were bland, including a Manhattan that had almost no vermouth in it. Overall, I was expecting better for the price we paid. May or may not go back.
The price’s are to high for what you get They over cooked my $68.00 steak The shrimp cocktail was over cooked the staff was missing and opened my napkin and removed silverware and put new silverware in my napkin wile leaning over me the taste of the food was good and the atmosphere was great very beautiful
This was out first time to eat here. Very impressed with the food, service and especially the view!
Honestly, I would have given all 5 stars, except we were not told about the service fee until our bills came. Our party understood why we were charged this, but it would have been nice to know we were paying a service fee on top of a tip at the beginning.
Food, ambience, service...everything was great though!
Fantastic views of the city. Wonderful staff.
Our server was lovely! The food was great. Nice and quiet. Beautiful views of the city, will be back.
Really nice place with amazing food!
The city’s best kept secret! Maitre de was super nice and checked on us throughout our meal. Misty was a doll! Amazing views of Indianapolis and amazing food!
Great service and ambience. The food and chef was amazing. Will recommend to anyone for any occasion.
Amazing food and amazing people. Would most def recommend.
I love the new remodel! There’s TVs for sporting events and the atmosphere was casual and modern. The bartender had us sample some of his hand crafted mixers. And the creme brûlée corn is outstanding! The entrees aren’t cheap, but worth it. The pork chop was large enough to split.
Best view of the city while overlooking the city skyline.
This was our first time going, our experience was great and the service was excellent
Went there for a Valentines dinner. Great location, but the food was sub par and the sevrice was even worse.
Amazing!! Highly recommended this place to ANYONE!!!
We love the skyline club, best view in the city. Unbelievable views 36 floors up. Great food and live music. Always a great date night
The place is amazing!! Top NOTCH I had a party of 10 service was FAST!
We had a wonderful time at the Skyline Club! The food was amazing! We had the filet and it was awesome. The service was excellent. The view of Indy is top- notch. I have already recommended this location to some friends. Thank you for a memorable evening!
Note: extra charges on bill automatically added.
For our party of 2, $4.25 Admin fee and $22 service fee, and no, that is not the tip. View is nice but food & service aren't spectacular and certainty certainly don't equate extra fees.
It's so nice to have the option to dine here without being a member a couple times a year during Devour. The food and service were both excellent.
Everything was great until we received our bill withe the total of 20% added fees. It was very confusing. Are we expected to leave an additional tip on top of that? It was very tacky.
Love this place. Go there for every Devour Indy. Love the view. It has been remodeled from last year and it is very nice. They added TV’s and a very nice bar. I can’t wait until the next Devour so I can see the other side that is still being remodeled.
Yes, for the view and ambiance. The remodeled restaurant is nice; however, the current placement of the smorgasbord tables prevented diners from walking up to the windows for better views and contributed to standing in line longer to fill plates. It would be nicer to have access to the food from both sides of the tables to expedite the process.
We attended the Devour Indy lunch buffet. We were surprised at the limited offerings, but the food that was available was excellent.
Double date with friends had a great time. It was rather busy for that particular time and drinks were slow but manager comped 2 drinks for the wait without us having to say anything. Great customer service. Will go back.
We went for a Devour downtown meal and did not expect the service charge. That was not right. Also the service was sub par. Food was so so. Not pleased.
Steven the waiter was awesome, he knew a lot about the menu, even tho
The food was excellent as always and the service impeccable. However, the food selection was smaller than all the previous years I‘ve come to devour...which makes the price boarderline to a deal.
The Devour special was pretty good. All service was good. Unfortunately, I think the buffet set up could have been moved to more of an open area like it has in the past. This year it was setup close to tables where people were seated. You had to stand very close to other people’s tables. Suggest to put buffet back in more of an open area away from where people are seated. Thank you!
