SKYBOKX 109 Ratings and Reviews
We go to SKYBOKX 109 a couple times a month. It's in a great location and has a great bar. The food is typically great and the waitstaff friendly. The last couple times we've been in, though, there has been a huge delay in getting drinks. The waiter indicated not enough bartenders so that seems to be a change. But, otherwise this is still one of our favorite places to go.
SkyBokx 109 is right next to The Hampton Inn across from Natick Collection on Speen Street. I met a friend for dinner, it was my first visit and it did not disappoint. The food was great. I had the chopped Cobb salad and it was very delicious the avocado dressing was perfect without drowning the salad. The service was great. I was surprised by the young man playing there with his guitar. He was amazing. When dinner was done we moved closer to the area in which he was performing just to listen to him play. They have a pool table in the back area and TV's to be seen from every area. It was a good experience, next time I'll bring more friends.
But now they added live music. In a sports bar. Where you go to watch the game and shoot the xxxx with your friends. But there's singing going on and a guitar, and she's very good, but it's a sports bar, and I came here to watch the game and shoot the xxxx with my friends. Time to find the next joint.
Attached to the Hampton Inn in Natick, this cavernous establishment is pretty standard fare hotel sports pub. Food is mediocre and the prices are high. Service is mediocre. In short nothing to write home about and not worth the money. Lots of better alternatives around. Even in the mall across the street.
A nice steak frites dinner with friendly service. Truffle fries are a nice touch. Steak was cooked nicely. Our waiter was very attentive overall. Live music for a Sunday night. It's mostly an adult scene here, but we brought our child and she did fine with some crayons, and she ate every bite of her meal. We recalled last year that kids means came with cotton candy, and upon request they made it for us again. We'll be back!
We went there for Sunday Brunch. Not may customers yet the service was till slow. Ordered their Fancy Bloody Mary with their stick of sliders and all the goodies, sliders were so dry. A good price but if I order medium rare the last thing I want is well done and dry. I think it is a better place during sport season and during the night. I cannot believe they are not open for lunch during the week with all of the businesses that are around that area, mistake.
This place is terrible. We checked in, on time, but for some reason the hostess cancelled our Open Table reservation. Besides the fact that it took over 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge that we had entered the restaurant and they were far from busy at that time. Next, both our hamburger and steak came well over done, do we send it back, just to have the second steak also come out well done when it was suppose to be medium rare. Will never go again since they are to provide complete, edible meals.
Every time I go to skybox 109, there is always something wrong with the food or they are out of the beer that I ordered for something is wrong. After over a year not going there, we decided to try it again. Instead of ordering a Boddington's or another import beer that is on their menu, I decided to order a very common Yuengling on tap. Just as luck would have it, they were out of that too. So then I ordered another beer. When it came there was lipstick on the glass. When we got our check after the meal, the server had charged us for two kids drinks with the kids meals even though the drinks are included. I had to bring it to his attention so that he could take off the drinks. The ambience in this place is a great sports bar. But the food, the service, and the amount of beers that they keep in stock are always terrible. Sadly, this is (again) the last time that we will ever go to Skybox 109.
Great sports bar with a lot of TV's and very good selection of craft beers. The menu is not huge, but provides a good number of choices. The chili nachos were tasty and plentiful. The calamari appetizer was a bit skimpy for the price. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. The service could have been a lot better. The waiter seemed disinterested and the time between checking on us was too long.
The food at Skybokx was good. There were some fun things on that menu that had flair and there were some typical menu items as well. My friends and I had burgers and sandwiches, and they were delicious. I would come back here. They also have brunch and the prices are very good.
Appetizer portions were small but delicious. The meal portions were huge! There was a variety of options which are it hard to decide what to get. There was a good deal of beers on tap, a must for me. It was overall a nice dinner and we went home with plenty of leftovers.
The food wasn't bad, and in some cases was pretty good. I'm willing to say slight better than average bar food, and if the speed of the service had matched, I might come back. But, the place wasn't very full, and each time the waiter left, he would come back 10-15 minutes later. It took our group over 2 hrs to have drinks, one appetizer, and dinner. Clearly, they aren't try to move tables and are hoping the slow service will make you buy more drinks.
Without a major improvement in speed/service, this place won't make it, and certainly reluctant to come back again.
We were a group of 7 and everyone agreed that the food was fine, but the service could have been better. The waitress may have been, as she seemed confused. This is a good place to go with a group on a Saturday, as it was not overly busy and we were seated right away.
My girlfriend and I come here for some Patriot games and sometimes just for a change of pace. We have never had anything bad yet, and by that I mean everything we have had has been very good. I even had a family dinner there last year and everyone loved it so much we may do it again this year.
Nice build out, large bar area. We didn't realize it is located next to the Hampton Inn. I had the one pound burger and although slightly overdone it was delicious, I almost finished the entire burger and it was bigger than my head. My wife had a burger and enjoyed it. Love the shoe string fries and they have a nice beer selection.
i have gone here before and it was good BUT when i brought my family here to try it out and recommended the dishes i had before, family did not approve steak frites and tenderloin steak where all 3 orders the beef was tough and chewy then the 2 orders of the salmon nicoise was drenched in the vinaigrette where it was too overpowering.
start off with buffalo nacho=good.
service was fair due to not attentive enough where we needed refills on drinks, missing utensils, and salad came out the same time as the meal.
the service was on point from the jump. the host seated up promptly and our server came over right away to take a drink order.
she recommended a few drinks and they were delicious. the food was good. the wings had a little too much sauce but they were cooked
to our liking. the salad was fresh and tasty as was the good size piece of salmon we enjoyed.
the atmosphere was energetic with hockey and the basketball game on both sides of us. the server suggested that we try out the lounge area, with a comfy couch. it was a nice touch to the ending of our outing.
Bar naps would be helpful and instead of having to ask for wet naps when ordering sauced wings, they should come out with the order or at least extra napkins.
I would go again. The service was excellent, the beers are fairly priced. It's a nice sports bar. I rated the food a 3 because it was average food. Nothing about the food stood out as unique, or made you say this is gooood!
It was my first time there, so I'll give it another shot. It's a good place to watch a game. Food and drinks are fairly priced.
The St Louis ribs were overdone. The coleslaw was tangy. Not the usual boring stuff. TIme to ditch the string fries. All cooking oil and no potato and no taste. I'm a steak fries kind of guy. I know ketchup in a cup is trendy and chic. Give me a Heinz squeeze bottle any day. The $4 Yeungling Draft was good value though.
We were a party of 8. Food was great! The peanut Chilli wings were amazing! Skip the Buffalo wings, they weren't spicy. Our waitress ignored us. We had empty glasses for majority of the night. Too bad for her, we are drinkers. Great pool room, waitress was better in this room. There are a few cozy rooms set up with TV S and fire places. Some other waitresses noticed we weren't getting good service and jumped in to help. I would recommend
