We always enjoy Sky, however, this time the food had slipped a little. My Stuffed Veal Cutlet was fried to a crisp, very tough to even cut up. My wife did enjoy her filet mignon though.
Everything was very nice! I was stuck in traffic due to an event at Gillette Stadium and they held my reservation for me. Food, wine and service were great!
Food was great, very pleasantly surprised. Wait staff gave great recommendations. Staff very attentive and knowledgeable.
Everyone loved their meals that night! I don’t think there was a steak tip left on the plates of the 5 out of 9 that had the tips.
I had the Maine Lobster Club on toasted sourdough bread with homemade potato chips! Outstanding sandwich and so big, I took half home for lunch on Saturday! Definitely recommend this place to others. Great night was had by all.
Our food was prepared well, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. I would return again.
Skip the calamari...not worth the cost. Drinks were weak. Great service!
We had dual birthday party for the family. All guests liked their entrees and appetizers. Desserts were good too.
This was our fourth year coming to Sky for the Easter brunch. In past years we have always been very pleased with the protocol of how the Easter brunch is designed, such as ordering at the omelette station and then waiting at your table for your order to be delivered. This year, it was very hard for me to grade my satisfaction. Our server was attentive and engaging. The biggest problem was that one of the four of us, the person who ordered an omelette, waited a half an hour at least for his omelette to be delivered. Clearly, within that half of an hour, the other three members of the party were able to go through the stations twice and select different offerings, eat them, and wait. We were very displeased with this. If Sky is going to offer a brunch to begin at a certain hour, and takeA definitive number of reservations for that hour, they should be able to service those people. A person should not have to wait half an hour for a, and I might add, quite small, omelette. This experience definitely dampened our impressions of the quality of Sky’s brunch.
Awesome experience. Food was phenomenal. We went for the Sunday brunch which was well priced. The selection was plentiful. The peach Bellini was awesome!!! I’d definitely do it again.
Dinner was delicious and services were great
Eggplant Napeoleon is superb
I’ve eaten at Sky for lunch and dinner multiple times and even had my sons communion here. Always enjoy my meal and service. Brunch today was a different story. Even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded and we had three designated servers we couldn’t seem to get a hot cup of coffee with cream at the same time or a bar beverage in a timely manner. As far as the food went, that was disappointing too. Dried meat at the carving station, cold French toast, and mushy potatoes. Chocolate fountain looked promising but the fruit was bruised and brown so the dipping choices were marshmallows, macaroons and a couple of other things I wasn’t interested in personally. Overall, I just don’t think this would be my choice for brunch again. Too bad because it’s my favorite meal to eat out.
We had a wonderful time, and a great meal. Even though we were a large group, the meal was smooth and the waiter (Justin) did a terrific job. I especially loved that the restaurant wasn’t so noisy that I couldn’t hear my friends.
The food was very good. Nice selection. We love the lobster club. The salmon was nice. The only downside was we waited a little too long for waitress attention and service.
The food and service was great. I asked to be seated near the waterfall and they were able to accommodate. I will be going back.
We had a delicious meal at Sky for my daughters birthday. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful. However, I was very disappointed that we were seated in the bar instead of the dining room ( which is lovely). I would have appreciated being informed that tables would not be available in the main room when I made the reservation. I chose Sky for the ambience as well as the good food to celebrate this special occasion.
We dined early, 5:00 on a Saturday evening. Service was off to a slow start but ended up fine. Only a few tables were occupied so the noise lev l was low. Food was its usual high quality with large portions and varied menu to satisfy multiple tastes.
I ordered the Fig and Goat Cheese Salad with lots of berries (maybe too many berries and not enough figs but still fresh and delicious) and added 3 shrimp. The shrimp were large, grilled, and perfectly cooked. Sometimes grilled shrimp can be dry. These were succulent.
The 3-generational ladies shared the Wedge Salad: Baby iceberg lettuce, bacon tuile, carrot ribbon, heirloom tomatoes, smoked bleu cheese dressing. The carrot ribbon was a pain to cut, as was the bacon only in that it was kind of unexpected to be in slice form—and not crunchy. The salad was tasty but more for the grown ups and less for the 12-year-old.
Dad, daughter, and son ate cheeseburgers, mom had the Sky Burger. All cooked properly. The fries are skinny and though not exactly crispy, they are eminently devourable. Husband ate the Chicken Parmesan on rigatoni. It was a huge portion; I thought there’d be plenty rigatoni leftover for my daughter’s lunch the next day. Nothing.
Carrot side consisted of orange and yellow carrots halved the long way, very good but a little bitter for younger palates.
We shared a Boston Cream Pie (which if you’re not from Boston, you know is not a pie) and a Chocolate Raspberry Torte, which was dense and delicious. We had asked for ice cream on the torte knowing the density factor we were likely to encounter. Both were large enough for a few to share.
The swordfish was overcooked and did not have much flavor.
Service was great! Unfortunately, the food had NO flavor. I got the salmon was pan seared, PERIOD. The white balsamic glaze added nothing. The radishes were excellent but didn’t fit the meal very well. My fiancé got the organic chicken that had a tan sauce on it had no flavor and an odd smell; ruined the meal. The Skytini was good and my sparkling wine was served with ice, not what I normally see. We have been here MANY times, but will stick to the bar and burgers if we return.
We held a business meeting with a customer that is also a friend and his wife and we had a good experience. The waitress was new and inexperienced, but the other staff members made sure that everything worked well.
Staff was great. It was a little backed up due to another event going on but the waitress let us know and brought out the food as quickly as possible. Food was delicious.
Excellent food at a reasonable price, good service, nice ambiance, and more than adequate parking. We had a slight issue with our dessert but, without even asking, the manager came to the table and rectified the situation. Couldn't have been more pleased. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
Went here on Valentine’s Day. Great overall experience. Loved my filet mignon, my server was amazing! Loved the ambience and the waterfall was very calming. Everything was perfect! Definitely will be back!
Overall a very pleasant experience. Consistently good appetizres, entrees, and desserts. Very good service. Atmosphere is suitable for a semi elegant dinner out without being stuffy.
Half priced burgers on Monday nights are a great value.
But the burgers are overcooked, fries are cold.
I was very disappointed this evening. We have a group
that goes there frequently and usually it is pretty good
(sometimes fries are cold)..But this past time we were not
thrilled as usual with our dinners.
Food was very good and service was great. Sat in the bar side and wasn’t too crowded so received good attention. I don’t eat there often but always get a good meal and great apps !
We sat at the bar at sky and were immediately struck by the ambiance - well decorated, nice colors, etc. we ordered the calamari - it was awful. We also ordered main dishes that were good (much better than the calamari). The service at the bar was not great. Dirty dishes weren’t picked up (we looked at our calamari throughout the time we were having our dinner). Anytime we needed something we needed to track down the bartender (and there weren’t many people at the bar). We likely won’t be back, even though we liked the decor and “vibe” of the bar.
Was there for my wedding anniversary.
Food overall was very good. We got a chef’s sampler and crab cakes appetizers which were both great. Both Steaks were cooked to perfection. My wife’s lobster tail was really good too. I think the lobster risotto had excellent taste but could have been warmer. Our server went above and beyond to make sure we were happy...
We meet friends here as it is a halfway spot. Great place for a pre-dinner drink in the bar. Restaurant is very nice excellent food and service, relaxed environment to visit and talk.
There was something for everyone from the Chicken Parm that the men got and raved about to my salmon with zucchini noodles, pickled radishes and heirloom tomatoes for the health conscious me! So delicious and the service was great! I've had a good meal each time I've been there.
Haven't been to Sky in years. Always loved brunch there.
No one was there on a Wednesday evening. Only 3 tables were taken. Service was very attentive and prompt.
There were 3 of us. Two diners enjoyed their food. The stuffed veal cutlet was less than satisfactory. The cutlet was rolled with sausage, mushrooms and spinach. The cutlet was very difficult to carve into. And hard. Taste was not exceptional.
everything was good except there wasn't enough help in the bar area. I think a few tables walked out. My husband and I love going to Sky so we will always be happy. But just an FYI on the lack of help.
An excellent family dinner before sending my son back to school. Swordfish with asparagus and lobster risotto was a highlight as was the baja roll app. My son was very happy with his hamburger flatbread. Service was solid, great ambiance as I like lighting on the dimmer side. Well done
My friends and I frequent Sky often.
It is a great place for a date night (bar area is especially my favorite)
or large group.
Menu is fun , inventive and fresh.
The offerings vary from appetizers to steak and all are prepared well.
Wait staff seemed overwhelmed and short handed. He did not seen attentive to each table. Floor manager stepped in to help and was fantastic.
We have eaten at Sky many times, this was our third New Year's Eve. The others were great, but this year was disappointing. The drinks were weak and not good, the wedge salad did not even resemble a wedge salad, the bacon didn't taste, there was barely any dressing. The waiter was not good, due to inexperience, I suspect. The main course and dessert were fine, but this did not meet expectations based on prior experience. We will think twice before returning.
Food was good. Not as hot as it should have been, but good.
Server was awesome.
Great food and service especially for New Years Eve.
NYE 2017. We decided to come to SKY as we love 3 in Franklin. I had a piece of Salmon that was a little dry, and my husband had the Filet Minon, which was outstanding. I did love the roasted squash that I ordered for a side. The waitress seemed a bit distracted, but was pleasant. The gentleman, Robin who brought our food to the table was very nice and came back to check on us and cleaned our table when we were done. We were seated across from a family with 3 children who were kids and loud, so that was disappointing. I was hoping for a quiet dinner place. All in all we enjoyed our night together and our dinner.
